It was nice; they asked if we can wait an additional 5-7 minutes for a fresh batch of louks and of course we said yes! Last night I did order a cookie butter ice-cream scoop last night. (Not photographed, I forgot!) It came with a sweet shortbread cookie/cracker, and NOT a Biscoff cookie which I thought was odd. I inquired about tasing some of the Jenni ice cream flavors that they had on their menu and she mentioned that they don't have them anymore? For future, hopefully they will put a sign over the menu to let patrons know if they are out of something. Definitely not my last time here; will be coming back again!

Third time there was a huge black hair in my breakfast sandwich. Didn't go back for a long time because I was grossed out. Went back twice recently and was overcharged BOTH times. Didn't want to fuss over a few dollars the first time, but after today, I won't be back. Way too many decent donut shops around to go to an already-expensive one and then continually be overcharged. So two stars for first two experiences being fine. Here's a comprehensive breakdown of my visit today: Ordered: $2.90+$2.90+$6.25+$10=$22.05 SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY TOTAL 2 medium coffees+1 breakfast sandwich+1/2 dozen of small donuts Paid $31.30-$6.25 overcharged for an extra breakfast sandwich-.70 overcharged for coffees=$24.35 what I actually ended up being charged Overcharged by $2.30 STILL in the end After making several mistakes because apparently the girl was new and delaying me getting to work, I was still overcharged. I just don't like that. Nearly $3 for a black coffee when it costs a quarter to make and $6.25 for the most basic breakfast sandwich, which I actually hated, is expensive enough. I don't appreciate being overcharged when their prices are high enough already. That's simply not fair.

I will definitely be back and would recommend this sandwich and shop to anyone who is looking for a quick lunch with high quality ingredients and very nice staff!

Review #1016 2026-086…read more Donuts Order: Apple Twist $2.75 Blueberry Cake Donut $1.75 (comped) Boston Cream Donut $1.75 Cinnamon Roll $2.75 Croissant Donut $2.75 I was dining nearby for a YEE, & wanted to treat M to a donut for being my carpool. Cherri's Donuts was sitting around the corner so it was an easy stop before returning home. I picked a couple of favs: Apple Twist & Cinnamon, & they're huge! I also added Boston Cream Donut, Croissant Donut, & Frosted Vanilla Cake with Sprinkles, & the owner threw in a Blueberry Cake Donut. Whoohoo! When we got home, M's Frosted Vanilla Cake with Sprinkles was missing. I went through the bag to check the contents & found that I was charged correctly even though my son's pick wasn't in the bag. I saw that it was set aside but didn't make it in the bag. It was fine since we had several pounds worth from just 5. Even though it's late in the day, the donuts were fresh but not "hot off the fryer" fresh. It's debatable which was best: Apple Twist or Cinnamon Roll. The twist was fluffy & soft, with bits of cinnamony apple filling & a light sweet glaze for some added sugary goodness overload. The roll was a tad heavier, but still fluffy with cinnamon swirled through the pastry & topped with the same sweet glaze. M was sad that his pick was missing, & made do with a tasting of the Blueberry Cake Donut & Croissant Donut. He liked it, but still wanted his vanilla cake; he's haunted by the rainbow sprinkles. Like fellow Elite Vince V. parody sings... donuts the size of boulders... every day that I adore you! It's a bit of a drive, but if I'm in this neck of the woods... I'm walking right on over! Recommended: Everything ordered... I highly recommend the Apple Twist & Cinnamon Roll!

I would never want to lower the rating for this place - Cherri's Donuts in Santa Fe Springs - but…read moreI'm doing this for something other than their food or service. In driving out to the Coachella Valley desert towns from LAX, I made the habitual stop here. Not buying donuts for anyone on this visit, the stop was to satisfy my donut craving. I also had to use "a" restroom. They don't have one. I snuck into a nearby store I didn't patronize to do so. Thank God the code feature was not functioning at that time. On the outbound trip, I ordered a double chocolate, a strawberry frosted, and an orange frosted donut. I shouldn't have done that, but I love Cherri's Donuts's donuts. Those three donuts were lunch. In fact, I stopped in again on my way back to the Los Angeles area and got a strawberry frosted and an orange frosted donut. On this stop, they made for breakfast. I'm enamored of their orange frosted donut more so than anything else. With the social dynamics and related have-have not problems in SoCal, it seems businesses are guarding their restrooms more vigilantly ... or not providing restrooms at all. I also think that Cherri's Donuts probably serves a local clientele living within a 5 mile radius. They don't think that someone driving to and from LAX might make it a donut pit stop and also need to make a restroom stop. The employees here are reliably pleasant. There is also a small parking lot behind there store, so I used it instead of parking by the curb since I had luggage stored in the back of the vehicle. With the 605 and the 5 intersecting nearby, one needs to get into the correct lane for the Telegraph Road exit fairly quickly. However, for their donuts, you'll manage and you'll do it.

It might be a while again before I go back and I hope the price doesn't double next time I go back.

Knead Donuts, located in the bustling Cerritos Promenade, has been serving artisan donuts in the city for several years, now. I'm not a big donut guy, saving them for a rare treat or when they're offered at an event. Alas, sometimes, you just gotta satisfy that sweet tooth. Strawberry Crunch- Highly enjoyable, topped with a slice of fresh strawberry, the Strawberry Crunch didn't feel as guilty as a double chocolate covered everything donut. The crumbs sprinkled on top providing texture to the fluffy donut, and I was quite happy with my pick. My initial visit was a 2 years ago. On my more recent occasion, I stopped by to see what's new. Knead closes at 1pm on weekdays (Monday closed, till 9pm Sat & Sun), and being approximately 30 minutes to close, two boxes of assorted donuts were left to choose from. Knead's Dubai Chocolate donut was a whopping $8! I tried to haggle the price down, both individually or with another donut, to no avail. No way was I planning to buy a whole box, either. Prices vary around $6-$8. Aware prices have gone up everywhere, that's still too much, in my summation, for donuts. In addition, not being a big donut guy, I don't foresee being a frequent customer. Knead Donuts does sell beautifully crafted donuts, which would satisfy even the most critical sugar junkie, but with premium pricing attached to each donut, can't justify the money spent, for my needs.
