    Cuff links that's a gear pattern!!! #yay

Guys, do not pass on this store!! If you see this store on your Yelp app, come down and browse. There are a lot of ladies posting reviews about baby clothes and soaps?! They have a great selection of cuff links and other accessories for men. I always love browsing through the East Village and finding these shops. Where else are you going to find crazy cufflinks for $30 bucks? The Upper East Side? ? I fancy to say no.. The East Village brings the Funk! (along with the great thrift shops) Mens tie tacks? Money clips? Got them right here at Random Accessories. If you need a funny or quirky gift? Come here to Random Accessories. I'll bet you'll find something great for us normal folk. In your face Hermes and Park Ave!

What a fun, cute place! As a new mom, I was attracted by some baby toys in the window and had to come in. The aptly named Random Accessories has some really unique and fun things- hilarious dark humor books like " All my Friends are Dead ", baby books, toys and accessories, and beautiful jewelry. I bought an avocado toy that my son loves, a series of hard baby books about international sights, and guitar earrings. The owner who works the checkout is very helpful as well. The space is pretty small but she does a good job of it not feeling cluttered. It was spacious enough to easily look around, and organized in a way that I could really see everything-and there is a lot of stuff. Can't wait to come back, it's a store I could easily spend an afternoon at.

Really cool finds here, especially if you're looking for random present ideas. It was a little expensive though for what you're buying.

Met with some outright rudeness from a shop assistant who was clearly not there to help or make a sale. Won't be back.

I stopped by about half an hour before closing to ask about getting a recently bought pouch resized to fit my laptop. Even though I truly felt like a chicken walking around without it's head, the owners treated me with kindness and respect. While I felt sheepish about my request and my lack of of familiarity with all things sewing, their warmth helped me feel at ease. The shop itself is small, as is such with most mom and pop establishments, with Hossein working his magic in the back, buttons a galore in the front, fabrics in the middle, and ribbons scattered throughout. I could spend some time inspecting and exploring each and every texture and color available but didn't want to dilly dally too much before they were to go home. Overall, they were able to take on my sewing request--it was reasonably priced (I think!) and I helped myself to some paracord for a little craft project of mine. Very comfortable space with some people who are experts in their field and provide a very calm and reassuring energy. I'll be back to pickup some bits and bobs here and there rather than taking my business to a big retail store like I usually do. An east village gem!

The store layout here is a big congested and feel the checkout area and online order area could be better designed. I placed an order online for store pickup and it was ready in less than 10 minutes after I placed the order, which was quite impressive (I couldn't go until a few days later). The pickup area is located to your left as soon as you get off the escalators. There really wasn't a shelf to get your items and your bags situated after you pick up your item and the waiting area was quite small. No one was there when I went to pick up but a line of about 5 people behind me formed as I got my item making it a bit tricky to navigate to leave the area while also trying to stuff my item into my bags. The general checkout area was quite tight as well. It's long and it's sometimes hard to see if a self checkout counter is open. Self checkout itself is pretty easy to use and I like how the machine is able to detect if the handheld scanner was properly placed back in its slot before it moves forward with checking you out. I was able to find my account easily and apply all my coupons during my transaction. The staff I asked about inventory were quite knowledgeable and were able to point me to the right aisle to get the things I needed. things were well stocked and neatly displayed as well.

To some degree I understand that many retailers are tighter on inventory to reduce how much needs to be sold at deeper discounts after certain holidays are over. However this also means certain things run out and there's no selection left which could also mean lost sales, which was the case when I came to look for a couple Christmas-related products a week before Christmas and much of that section looked decimated outside of wrapping paper, kitchen/dining supplies, some decorations and wearable accessories. They were already setting up for Valentine's Day. Walking around the store, I still appreciated that this location is still around, it's been a while since I've visited so I was glad to see still a strong selection of frames, scrapbooking supplies, paints, yarns and ribbons/trimmings. They also installed more self-service checkout machines. The shopping stop wasn't altogether unfruitful in that I picked up a pack of baked goods boxes (to place home-made cookies/pastries inside before gifting to others). I hope next time to find more of what I need!
