Zero stars. For delivery the disorganization of timing was massive. I had to leave work in the middle of the day because they would not deliver after 3 pm and I had the baby coming at 6 pm. Then for pick up.... Babies Getaway Company caused me to lose hours of work on Tuesday. Despite a confirmed pickup window of 1 -3:00 p.m. and then confirming a 2:30-3 pm pick up.. they repeatedly called during my work hours even after I specifically asked for texts only. I replied promptly to every text, yet they later claimed they didn't come because I "didn't answer the phone." The lady on the phone was even rude arguing that I should have answered the phone. I rushed home from work to be there for the pickup -- and no one ever showed up. Then they said their driver hadn't been able to come but will come Wednesday between 6-7 AM. On Wednesday, I woke at 5:30 a.m. to be ready for a 6:00 - 7 am a.m. pickup that never happened. Then the company texted and called to change the ick up time to 9:00 a.m., making me late for work again -- and still no pickup. I was home until 10:30 waiting. No pick up. 10 phone calls and time wasted later they said they couldn't come because it was a holiday and drivers were far away. ( Wednesday was not a holiday. The thanksgiving holiday is Thursday). Then they rescheduled for today. Friday 8-10 am. Then This morning, despite my clear instruction not to call, their Philippine call center rang at 7:00 a.m., waking me and my family, even though I had confirmed I would be ready at 8:00. Pick up. ( Friday is still part of the thanksgiving holiday for families). They called twice before 7:15, and then, the driver arrived at 7:25. Ringing the door. Driver was kind and nice. Not her fault. I have left a review on February 2, 2026 and I would like to add : I used my credit card on November 21, 2025 for the rental of a standard crib, which i could not use and finally received my refund in full listed on my February 2026 credit card statement. The Better Business Bureau did get back in touch with me after I left several phone calls and gave me another 6 days to respond. I feel between the investigation my credit card made and the Better Business Bureau looking into this matter is why I received my full refund. Terrible experience. Absolutely not recommended. Can you imagine how essential it is to have a stroller for the baby and a rain cover when traveling from Italy to New York? Well, the day the stroller was supposed to arrive, they called me saying there was a delay and it would arrive in the afternoon, but in reality it arrived the next day. And to top it off, without the rain cover, which I had even paid for in advance. I ordered a uppa baby stroller for our trip to Vermont. A week and a half later my order got cancelled and refunded. I called to ask them what happened and if I could get a different stroller if the issue was availablity. They told me all the strollers were booked for the week I was in Vermont. This makes no sense because I had been booked for such a long time and then all of a sudden they are "all out". Either they over booked or they never had any available. I asked them if they recommended any other stroller services in the area since this we were days away from our trip. They said "sorry, we can't recommend another company". I received a message 1 day before the expected arrival that the seat was damaged in transit and to go purchase one and they'd refund me. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, worse than a utility company. They delivered the wrong item. Then replaced it the next day with a new one in the box that I had to put together. I had a bill of $135.00 they charged that to my card and also charged me $1,350.00 to my card for the same thing. (added a zero). Then after speaking with them several times (about 20x) after 3 months I got the refund only after starting a dispute with my bank. They told me also they would refund the day I had the wrong equipment plus an inconvenience fee. I still haven't got that refund... and won't. I'm honestly not even confident this is a real business. I reserved a crib and a high chair about 6 weeks in advance. They said on their website cribs would never be substituted but I selected it would be ok to substitute other items. The first message I got was just a text from a random number asking if I would be willing to substitute the crib. I said no, I would really prefer a crib and they said ok we'll cancel your order (see screenshots). Well that was a bummer but I had plenty of time to find a back up plan. Only problem was, 2 weeks passed and I never saw a refund. When I first contacted them, they responded asking for the order number and then the next day they said oh don't worry, that order was never processed. Well here I am staring at my bank account with a charge of $169 that cleared two weeks ago. Then they claimed their accounting department voided that order. Then 2 weeks later they said they had refunded it and I should check with my bank. Well I never got such refund and I'm grateful my bank was able to void the initial charge a month later. (Again, see screenshots). If my bank didn't help me out I'm pretty sure I would have just been out the $169. I'd consider that theft. Please just save your time and money. There are other companies that won't cause you a big headache and you can travel with your babies happily! PS: In between text messages I tried calling the company and left a few messages. As I was driving to the shore on the day the items were due to be delivered, I received a call that they only had the crib and mattress. They left some toys. I would never use this company again. Babies Getaway was absolutely perfect for our trip to NYC. We scheduled to have a double stroller and pack-n-play delivered to our hotel for our week in the city. The items were there, as promised, when we arrived, making our midnight arrival so much easier to navigate. The pack-n-play was identical to the one we have at home, so our little one was very comfortable in it throughout our stay. (We brought our own sheet for it, just to add an extra touch/scent of home, and she had no trouble sleeping at all) The double stroller wasn't the exact item we requested, but we were still able to navigate all the areas we needed to, and had room for all the fun extras that were added on our trip to the Big Apple. Might be the strangest review I've ever written. I rented a nice, foldable splash pad (stock photo) and was substituted with a cheaply made water table (photo). Then I rented a high chair (stock photo) and was substituted again with an extremely cheaply made one (photo). I rented a "bucket of toys" but was met with brand new toys (?) in Walmart bags. This company does make you check that you are okay with substituting. That is completely fair. However, the quality of the substitution is no where near similar. Once I emailed my complaints (within 24 hours) I did receive an apology email and a refund. That was awesome thank you so much. I was actually going to leave this company a 4 star review because they were easily to deal with. HOWEVER! The morning of pickup, I received a phone call telling me that they were "just going to pick up the toys" and "we could keep the high chair." Umm EXCUSE ME?! You are a rental company! I don't want to keep it!! So I told them we are traveling and I don't want it. Fine, they said. When they came to pick up, they LEFT the high chair!!! Are you kidding me?? I cancelled an order with them within hours of booking after having realized that the cost of the booking was going to be more than buying a new car seat. My fault. They chose not to fully refund me, instead keeping ~$30 dollars for service fees. Fine. Not the kindest service, but it was stated clearly enough. I should mention that I had tried to book two other car seats only to have the booking be not validated on their end. Fine, it's an imperfect system. However, it has now been over a month of me trying to get the rest of my refund (several hundred dollars). They keep saying it will be 7-10 days business days. Its infuriating. After a fairly stressful and anxious day, scrambling to find alternate source for car seats after Babies Getaway informed us that hours before flight arrival our reserved car seats weren't going to be delivered, Brian, at Babies Getaway, personally contacted me and made this right. The company ordered brand new car seats from Walmart, and although I had to do the pickup, that was definitely a minor chore compared to driving my grandkids without proper seats. If you're considering using this company, you can appreciate the stress of traveling with small children - and appreciate the value of having a service that provides gear to ease the logistical burdens of doing so. I was so excited to try this out, but it was a disaster. We ordered two car seats, a pack-n-play, and a pack-n-play mattress. We specified a delivery day, delivery time window, and asked them to knock on the door of the delivery address. Outlining those details made us very comfortable with how and when the items would be delivered; however, NONE - literally NONE - of the items were actually delivered according to our desires. The first car seat arrived TWO WEEKS before our arrival at the vacation home. The home was literally vacant at the time, but fortunately, a friendly neighbor notified us of the delivery so we could secure the item. I notified the company of the error and asked them to make sure none of the remaining items were delivered early, which they said they'd do. However, the pack-n-play and the second car seat were both also delivered a week prior to our arrival - again, the home was VACANT, but the company kept delivering items to the house. They blamed all this on UPS. So, on the day of our arrival, we still needed the mattress delivered and the company DID NOT deliver it. Two hours after our scheduled delivery window, I had to call the company and ask where it was - and they said they didn't know where it was or when it would be delivered. Eventually, they said they could deliver it the next day, but since our baby was supposed to sleep on the mattress that night, the company's response was of no help whatsoever. After all that, using this company made our travel experience MORE stressful than if we had just brought all our own gear. read more

Our 20 month old granddaughter was coming to stay with us for a week and we didn't have a crib for her to sleep in. We scheduled the delivery and pick-up of a portable crib with a "new mattress" through Babies Getaway - two full months ahead of time. About a week before the contract delivery date, I received a call from Noemi saying they were cancelling our contract due to illness. Immediately after her call, I receive a text message and an email indicating the contract was cancelled due to overbooking. It would appear as though this business can't keep their story straight. Even so, for Babies Getaway to giving a client only a week to react to their "overbooking" is just bad business. I found myself scrambling to make arrangements for a crib with another company but it was too late. I do have to question, however, If the order was approved and the money taken from our credit card 2 months before, then how could they not have known at that time that the equipment was overbooked. Wouldn't a well organized company know what equipment they have available at any given time? If you read some of the other bad reviews, you'll notice that Babies Getaway has excuses for late deliveries, delivering wrong items, poorly maintained equipment, short notice cancellations and missing the deliver date entirely. One woman indicated that they keep basically banker's hours and are not available otherwise. I strongly recommend that you read the inordinate number of one star reviews before engaging this companies services. read more

I am actually SHOCKED to see that this company has any decent reviews. I was honestly driven to actual tears having to deal with them over a myriad number of issues, most of which dealt with their finance department. In an attempt to keep this relatively brief: 1. I ordered cribs (with mattresses) and high chairs for me 2-year old twins. I ordered about 5 weeks in advance of my reservation. About a week after placing the order, I noticed that they had charged me twice. Keep in mind this is pretty wildly expensive, so I was out quite a bit of money. But still - mistakes happen, no big deal. I contacted the company and they 1) somehow blamed me for the double charge (reasoning made no sense) and 2) completely failed to reimburse me. After HOURS on the phone and documenting my request via email, I was forced to contact my credit card company who disputed the charge. 2. AFTER I did that, Babies Getaway sent me a refund to my credit card but weirdly not in the full amount. It was a partial reimbursement but with no explanation as to where they even got the amount. I waited another calendar week and then they said they would not reimburse me until I lifted the dispute with my credit card company. Pretty unethical, but I wanted to be reimbursed so I did it. At this point I was STILL not reimbursed and after more very heated phone calls, they finally offered to Zelle me the remainder of my reimbursement. Still NO explanation for why they couldn't reimburse my AMEX or why I only got a partial reimbursement. The whole thing took weeks to clear up (and years off my life). Even with that said, they messed up the total reimbursement amount. Super super sketchy. 3. They called me the day OF my reservation to tell me they actually didn't have high chairs available. Again the DAY OF my arrival. They said they'd get them to me as soon as they could and would reimburse me for the time I didn't have them. Luckily, they were able to get me some the next day. Unfortunately what they sent did require assembly (screw driver, etc.). I was an an AirBNB and didn't have the right tools so I had to go to a store and pay out of pocket, but cest la vie. 4. They provided the cribs with the mattresses and sheets. The sheets were FILTHY. I would never in a million years have let my children sleep on them. Luckily there were already enough red flags about this company that I'd brought my own. 5. When I was leaving my AirBNB, they messaged me to say that the driver could not pick up my items for several days. I had already left them outside and checked out so obviously not really my problem, but sketchy none the less. It seems they didn't pick them up until 3 days after I left. 6. Finally, 48 hours after my departure I checked in on my reimbursement for the late delivery of high chairs. They actually threatened to withhold my reimbursement because I guess AMEX had not released the funds back to them following my dispute. I don't really fully believe this is true because they had already forced me to call AMEX with them, only for AMEX to say the dispute had been cancelled over a week ago and everything was fine on their end. I had to actually threaten legal action for them to reimburse me the money they owed me. Again, they Zelled me the money to my checking account instead of reimbursing my initial method of payment. EXTREMELY SKETCHY!! Needless to say I have NEVER been more relieved to be done doing business with a company. I cannot believe there isn't more competition but someone has to get these people out of business. Absolutely horrendous "customer service" (if you can even call it that) and really really sketchy and unethical finance processes. Could NOT recommend staying away from them more. I also did the calculations and I would have saved money buying my own cribs and high chairs and just throwing them out at the end of the week. Wish I had taken that route! read more

The 11am-5pm M-F business hours should have tipped me off that this would not be a very professional rental company, but I rented from them anyway. My delivery was 5 hours late, and one item short. (They were only delivering a pack-n-play and a mattress, and we never got the mattress.) After the rental period was over, pickup was scheduled for Dec. 15 and as of today (Dec. 20) the pack-n-play still has not been picked up. I also have still not received a refund for the missing mattress or items I was charged for previously (I modified my initial order). I love the idea of this company and I think they have the potential to improve. We rented a high end stroller for our trip to New York. When we arrived at the place we were staying at, the stroller was there but it was a much cheaper stroller than what we rented. I was ok with this, but then Babies Getaway sent me an email saying that they didn't have the stroller available yet, but that they would send it to us later in the week. I confirmed this with someone on the phone and then waited all day at the house to get the new stroller - it never came. When it came time for pick up, we waited outside our Airbnb during the pick up time and they never showed up. We ended up waiting for 8 hours at the house, and eventually had to leave it outside in order to make our flight - not ideal with a 2 year old in tow. We never got a refund on the difference between the cheap stroller and the nice one we had actually paid for and no one ever followed up with us. I had a big trouble with my order. I rented a stroller for 10 days in NYC and when we arrived at the hotel, there were no stroller. I asked for an "one day early delivery", but, by the time we checked in, about 10pm, had not been delivered. The next day, I started contact the company, and I was told that I would receive the stroller during the day. But it never happened. After that, they started saying that the hotel had delivered to another guest, and I started questioning the hotel, but they keep telling me that there was no stroller, and so I spent hours of the day contacting the company and the hotel. It was very stressful. I finally gave up on the rent and now I'm asking for my money back. Now I received a call that the hotel actually gave my stroller to another guest, however I asked several times for the Babies Getaway company to contact the hotel, which happened only now. Until now, the status of my order is: completed: "The status of order #6340 is now Completed" I am completely disappointed, I missed walking time in NY, I stressed and I am still trying to get my money back. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars. We had a horrible experience with Babies Getaway. We rented a crib, a bathtub, a high chair, beach chairs and a beach umbrella for a week while on vacation in New Jersey. The crib, bathtub and high chair arrived in terrible condition - missing and broken pieces, and everything was absolutely filthy. The mattress was covered in duct tape to keep it together and was horribly stained. The mattress sheet didn't fit the mattress. Everything had to be thoroughly disinfected and the crib was not safe for a child - half the parts were ill fitting replacement parts. The man who delivered them drove a sewage repair truck... that's what they delivered my child's rental gear out of. Very unprofessional company. The beach chairs and umbrella simply never showed up, making trips to the beach (the sole reason we were there) very difficult with an infant. I called customer service and they were unapologetic and unhelpful. Awful company, and I plan to report them to the BBB. Do yourself a favor and don't rent from these creeps!!! Edited to add: there was never a note left from the delivery person that a signature was required - in fact, there was no evidence whatsoever that a delivery attempt was made. People were always at the house and we never saw another delivery truck. Furthermore, why would you require a signature?? Five stars! I can't thank them enough for coming through when some other companies wont. I called 2 other companies local to the area and they told me they were completely booked up. I needed 14 wood high chairs for a wedding event for my sisters wedding. It was last minute, granted but I thought the other companies would have these sought of items on hand. After nearly an hour going back and forth placing my order with other companies, having them refund the order I got in touch with this company. It was friday and we needed the chairs on sunday. I was placed on hold for 2 minutes and she came back and said she will be able to do it. I paid $140 to have them delivered, picked up, and with taxes. The chairs arrived, my only caveat was the fact that 1 chair out of the 14 was natural while the others where mahogany.
