I had all the information on pricing and went in yesterday morning to a very busy service department. I was introduced to Gilbert and handed him an older key fob I had that needed reprogramming. At first Gilbert and his service technician said transmitter was not working but I insisted it was a perfectly good transmitter that I had misplaced years before. I was told I'd need a new one but that it wasn't in stock until the next day. I was worried and disappointed because I needed to work my evening shift last night. Gilbert said he'd do his best to get my transmitter ASAP and he DELIVERED. I was told 3pm-4pm I got it back by 2pm! So impressed with the commitment and the extra effort to get my older transmitter ALSO working and programmed as well! So while it was not fun spending $$$ on a piece of plastic and mini mother board chips, the dealership is CLEAN, OPEN SPACED and very structured as well as somewhat friendly. The service advisors are busy folk so they can be short and they the point but as long as they remain professional and take pride in providing excellent service I'm going to support their business and possibly get my next GM or otherwise car model here... I'm thinking late his year or next year. Having worked in the car dealership industry I am impressed with Paradise Chevrolet's pricing and consummate performance and reliability when I need them. Same day service on a relatively complicated situation? Impressive and reassuring. (There's a vending machine for your snacking needs in their waiting area if you get hungry)

Freddy, JC, and Amauri were excellent. As a first time buyer I had lots of apprehension and questions, but they answered them with care and kindness. I felt welcomed and considered! I went to Oxnard Mazda after receiving a promotional email offering a free oil change. I scheduled…read morethe appointment for a Saturday expecting to have a simple oil change completed. After waiting for over two hours, Adrian came out and told me there was a problem. He explained that while they were attempting to perform the oil change, the oil panel had broken. He told me that the cap was metal and the panel was plastic, and that this was something that could happen with newer Nissan Rogues. However, I was also told that Mazda was not responsible because whoever performed the previous oil change before I owned the vehicle allegedly did it incorrectly, which caused the panel to break while Mazda was servicing my vehicle. Since it was the weekend and there was no manager available, I was told they would provide me with a loaner vehicle at no charge and that someone would contact me Monday to figure out how to move forward. On Monday, Adrian contacted me and told me the repair would cost almost $1,000. I was given two options: either use my extended warranty and pay a $400 deductible, or have CarMax cover the repair, but I would have to pay the entire amount upfront and wait for CarMax to send me a reimbursement check. I explained to Adrian that I could not afford that. I came in for a free oil change and was not expecting an unexpected repair bill of nearly $1,000. I told him clearly that I did not have the money to pay for this repair, especially with rent and other expenses coming up as a single mom. Adrian then suggested that I apply for an app called Sunbit and told me that I would not have to pay anything upfront. I followed his instructions and applied. I was approved, but Sunbit still required me to put down almost $300. I called Adrian back and again explained that I did not have any money available to put toward the repair. Despite me repeatedly explaining that I could not afford this repair, the work continued. I never authorized paying nearly $1,000 for this repair. The only service I originally approved was the oil change. When I returned Tuesday to discuss my options and try to get my vehicle back, I spoke with a manager named Chase. Unfortunately, I felt that he was dismissive and unwilling to work with me or hear my concerns. I explained that CarMax had confirmed I was still covered under warranty and that if the vehicle had gone through CarMax's process, they would have covered the repair and I would not have had to pay anything upfront. Another thing that was extremely concerning was the change in the repair price. On Monday, I was told the repair would cost almost $1,000. However, when I came in on Tuesday, the total had somehow changed to $715. No one clearly explained why the price changed so drastically for what I understood to be the same repair. Being quoted one amount and then seeing a significantly different amount the next day left me questioning how the original estimate was calculated. I was told that Mazda would not release my vehicle until payment was made and that I needed to return the loaner vehicle. I was also told that keeping the loaner could result in a $75 per day charge. This entire experience was extremely stressful and frustrating. I came in for a promotional free oil change and ended up dealing with a situation where I felt pressured to find a way to pay for a repair I was not expecting and repeatedly explained I could not afford. Thankfully, I was able to borrow money from someone so I could get my vehicle back, but no customer should have to go through this after coming in for routine maintenance. Between the lack of communication, the changing repair estimates, and the way this situation was handled, this was one of the most disappointing dealership experiences I have ever had. I will not be returning to Oxnard Mazda, and based on my experience, I would not recommend this location to others.

Vista Ford of Oxnard Quick Lane is the reason I will no longer by a Ford vehicle. I'm not really…read moresure why they even have a 'quick lane'. what is Ford trying to accomplish with this? It is neither Quick, nor convenient and full of hassle. First off, I've heard both cases that you need an appointment for QuickLane or that you can just show up. I've done it both ways. Once I was even told by the advisor that the appointments were sort of bogus anyway and that it was better to just show up. Twice, I have shown up with a scheduled appointment and been told the wait time was over 2 hours. How can this be when I have an appointment? I've gotten in without an appointment if you're willing to show up early. Once, I had a company send their entire set of fleet vehicles though the quick lane thus causing everyone in quick lane enormous delays. Isn't there a better way to do this? If I would have known about this headache, I would have never purchased the vehicle in the first place. I've seen numerous other people in my quick lane visits voice their frustrations as well. Sure glad I didn't buy the pre-paid oil change / service plan I've seen numerous customers complain about during my quick lane visits. Side note, the regular 'maintenance' group here is completely different than QuickLane. If you need a repair, they seem to do a good job, and YES YOU NEED AN APPOINTMENT FOR THEM.

I have called twice to try to resolve this with no return call and no action. We are driving around with one key... I hope we don't get in trouble because who knows how long it'll take to we actually get the key? One other thing... When you get a new car the salesman usually gives you a tour or a run through of the car features. The guy did nothing... Zilch... Zero in spending any time with my husband. They also left the back roller cover in the original box. They did not do the courtesy i've taking it out of the box and putting it in for him. They just left a box in our car for us to do it on our own. Even though this car was purchased by his company most likely at a fleet price....There's no reason to discount or be remiss of the customer service because truly... Vista Ford did make money and made a sale. We are happy that our local for it is in Thousand Oaks... We will definitely not be back here for service or to purchase a car out of our own bank account. Which is kind of sad because we are in the market for a new 3500 4 x 4 truck.
