Didn't think…read moreI'd be able to find any more until I went back overseas, but lo and behold this wonderful store has fresh soursop. I kind of laughed when I read the reviews from the people that bought fruit that they thought wasn't good. Any person that buys fruit from any store needs to check it before they buy it. That my friend is standard practice. The store was very helpful, identified level of ripeness in the different fruit we purchased so we knew how many days each one was likely to need to complete ripening before we ate it. Thank you for the wonderful service of bringing fruits around the world to our location!

Service was disappointing, mainly due to one of the staff members (she's the owner I think). I…read moreinitially bought a box of xoài Thái "ngọt" with 9 mangoes for $35. A few days later, I came back to buy more, but they didn't have the smaller boxes available. The staff suggested I buy a larger box instead with 13 mangoes for $52, so I agreed. One of the mangoes in the box looked old, so I asked if it could be swapped for another. She refused and said they don't allow switching. I told her I wouldn't buy it then, but the cashier stepped in and kindly offered to switch it for me. She was the only pleasant part of the experience. The pricing also didn't make sense. The larger box actually costs more per mango than the smaller one, which was surprising. On top of that, in both purchases, at least one mango was not the advertised xoài Thái "ngọt" but instead a different type, xoài hạt lép. It feels misleading, like they are mixing in cheaper mangoes to cut costs. Overall, not an honest experience and the inconsistent service made it worse.

Great market for fresh seafood! (Locals know what's up!)…read more We came by to grab some snails (to make coconut snails) and indeed did they have some fresh snails. Different kinds and sizes. Cute little store, packed with all types of gems inside. Service was also quick!

I'm all for supporting small businesses, but will never return here…read more To say that the employees are rude is an understatement. I'm used to typical straightforward nature at markets, but their attitude is something else. I was constantly berated while looking at mangos near the door. Literally the whole time, an employee was standing right next to me and nagging me as if I was about to topple all the fruit off the stand or completely obstructing the door. I wasn't, and it's absolutely normal to sort through and select fruit? These mangos are EXPENSIVE, I don't want to just blindly pick a box. When I asked if I should pay outside or inside at the cashier (since some grocers will have you pay for outside merchandise, outside), she rudely asked if I was blind and couldn't see the cashier. I asked the cashier about this behavior (in Vietnamese) and was entirely ignored. Literally not a single word said. Not sure why I hadn't just left at this point, but I bought 6 large, rather expensive, boxes. I truly regret it because even THEN, they made me feel like a nuisance for setting them down outside as I carried them 2-by-2 to my car on the other side of the parking lot. There are no carts and I'm not exactly the strongest body builder out there, not sure what they expected of me. I regret spending my money here. There are plenty other stores in the area for tropical fruit, with better prices and better service.

They have a super cute little farm stand selling produce, jams, syrups, and a few knickknacks. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Cosentino's also offers classes and events among the fruit trees and flower gardens. I went for a beginner's watercolor class on a warm spring afternoon. Shaded by fruit trees, about 20 of us sat at a long table decorated with fresh-cut ranunculus flowers and learned to paint tulips (very badly in my case!) from a local artist. It was a really sweet way to spend a couple of hours and remember back when orchards were the life blood of the Santa Clara Valley. The farm features heirloom fruit varieties and picks them ripe, so I'll definitely go back in the summer for stone fruits and berries. It was a little early in the season for a good selection when I went.

Great family run business…read more Years ago, Consentino's was a brick-and-motar grocery store with products focused on wu. It closed after a number of years and was very much missed by the community. The current family farm is set up in the farm stand style in the middle of a neighborhood. Back in the day, the woke area was dominated by orchards. Today, it is dominated by single family homes. Support your local community and do your shopping here for fruits and vegetables grown in the premises available seasonally.

In a world where so many places change over time, it's honestly amazing to have a spot that stays consistently wonderful year after year. Later on, we found out that section was already out of season. As we walked farther, we finally saw much better cherries, but most of the good ones were way too high to reach and there were no ladders available. There were some lower branches, but the cherries there were not great in quality, so we ended up picking only around 3 lbs. We then decided to switch to the peach and nectarine area hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately there was barely anything good to pick. Most of the fruits were either overripe, damaged, or already picked over. Overall, it felt like the farm should have better guidance on which sections are still worth visiting before customers pay and spend time walking around in the heat. The staff was fine, but the overall fruit quality and picking experience were disappointing for us this visit.

I appreciated how Veggielution has posted videos showing how and where to enter the property. Staff explained the instructions thoroughly and handed out gloves. It was a hot day so I was thankful that the event was under a shed and the food packing itself was straightforward and not very strenuous. We filled the boxes with fruits and vegetables assembly line style and then stacked them all up. With our big group, we finished packing 725 produce boxes in about 90 minutes. Some of us also helped remove weeds around the shed using hands + shovels. At the end, one of the employees gave us a guided tour of the farm which was super fun! He talked about the different events they host - on Saturdays there is a Farmer's Market and youth garden for little kids. The farm is huge, so it was cool to look around and learn about their farming practices. Also learned that they offer low-cost fruits and vegetables to the community! Staff was very friendly and efficient! They provided us with all the necessary tools. There were some leftover fruits and vegetables, and volunteers were allowed to take them home which was super nice! Overall, I would definitely volunteer at Veggielution again.
