As a first-time pool owner, I'm so grateful for Chad and his crew. In addition to reliable weekly service, he has always responded when something seemed wrong and has helped me navigate the mysteries of a backyard pool. Always kind, always responsive, and always knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for more. read more

Poorly trained staff, multiple no shows after previously scheduled appointments made. Pool cleaner only there for 8 minutes per visit, pool still dirty, adds chemicals without checking the PH of the pool water, skimmer basket inconsistently emptied. Salt system not serviced routinely. Attitude given when attempting to communicate concerns, with pool cleaner and Chad, the owner. read more

Chad of Rancho Vista Pools has just completed the installation of my iAqualink system. I can now control my pool and spa from my phone from anywhere in the world. If my back and bones are aching for a 30 minute trip to "spa paradise", I can fire it up from the road and just jump in when I get home. Chad is punctual, honest, reliable and efficient. He worked with me on his pricing and has been great working with the manufacturer on some minor issues we had with our model. He also installed and new variable speed pump that SDG&E gave me a $200 rebate on. It saves me money every time it turns on! I say, if you are ready to upgrade or just maintain what you have, call Rancho Vista Pools. You won't be sorry. There are tons of pool guys out there and Chad is one of North County's best. read more

Chad's the man! I had an issue with my filter housing. Time was of the essence due to the fact my spa water hadn't been circulating for several days. Chad slid me in to his busy schedule and had me back on line in a few hours for a very reasonable price. If you need someone that's honest and understands service, call Chad! read more

I worked for Chad as a pool service technician. I was employed 2018-2020. Let me just say that I had more fun working at RVPS than any other job, period. And I am not getting paid to say this. Flexible hours, company truck, and competitive pay all made this job easy for me to go to college, learn a great trade, and meet some amazing people. Lots of people.. I had a full route and have made lasting friendships with many of my clients. Chad is great to work for. I came into the pool biz having no experience. During my training, Chad showed me the ropes. He really knows the tricks of the trade and how to keep pools sparkling. His training was on point and very thorough and knows how to deal well with people who act like idiots. He is especially patient with his employees and made several allowances for my many mishaps. Its not easy work, you will be sore for a few days. But if you like a challenege, this might be a good fit.. if you're looking for a job with a flexible schedule, good training, and decent pay, call Chad.. even if you have no experience. You won't be disappointed. read more

Garbage pool service company. The owner Chad is a complete ass hole who will rip you off in a heartbeat, this guy will charge you twice the price then send out some inexperienced high school kids to service your pool. Save your money and hire a real company!! read more

Derek's crew do a great job! My pool has never looked this clean & beautiful before they started working here! Derek, the owner, communicates great via text. Billing & payments are done online, so there's no extra paperwork lying around. Our weekly pool service is done by Kenney. He does excellent work, communicates/updates well & has no problem with nice dogs hanging out while he takes care of the pool. I wish we had started using their service years ago!! read more

I would give 5 + but it is not an option... A great company to deal with, their seriousness and professionalism are a true example. Thank you Chad ! read more

Chad at RVPS was great. Super knowledgeable, fair price and did great work. He listened to my concerns of how the original equipment was installed and how it made it difficult to service and he was happy to help route the new equipment differently so I can access the salt cell easier to remove amd clean. He took time to show me how to work the new equipment both on the panel and on the app. If you're looking for a trustworthy pool repair company, call Rancho Vista Pool Service. read more

My pool looks beautiful thanks to this amazing team! I know absolutely zero on how to maintain a salt water pool. Chad is super knowledgeable and always quick to respond. Jesus comes once a week and is always prepared, polite ..plus my dogs love him! This place is tops for service, knowledge and customer care. read more

Chad has been fantastic for the few times I needed help maintaining & replacing our pool equipment. As long as they're in business - I will continue to exclusively use them for our pool. No BS, just a guy who knows his stuff and is eager to help. read more

Chad is the epitome of Customer Service. He squeezed us in for a pool filter issue within 2 hours of contacting him. Once he arrived he immediately identified the issue and walked us through the process. Problem solved in short order and at an extremely reasonable price. While we have serviced our own pool in the past, Chad's professionalism and knowledge puts him at the very top of our list when we start upgrading some of our pool and spa equipment later this year and for any pool servicing in the future. You can't go wrong with Chad. I recommend you give him a call now! read more

I would never use these guys. Just a minute ago, one of their pick up trucks came flying up behind me, got his front bumper within a few feet of my back bumper, and then swerved around me in an angry fashion. Road rage is never good business. The guy needs to relax and take a chill pill. read more

PROFESSIONAL, EXPERT, FORWARD THINKING. I used Rancho Vista Pool Services to switch to a Salt Water pool, upgrade to an automatic WiFi pool system, install a variable speed pump, and complete some preventative maintenance. Chad was extremely helpful during the entire process, didn't try to sell me extra services I didn't need and gave me the answers I was looking for without any BS. He was extremely knowledgeable and even caught some serious issues the pool inspector (ABALONE pool services) didn't catch when I purchased the house. Chad went out of his way to take care of some preventative maintenance at little to no extra cost. When installing new components he specifically engineered the system to allow for quick replacement of other components that are nearing the end of their life (22 years old). His forward thinking will allow for cheaper replacement of parts in the future. I Would highly recommend Rancho Vista Pool Services, even if it is to just get an additional quote for services. read more

Chad came and replaced our pool light. He was extremely professional and fantastic about communication. Unfortunately, for him our light needed an extra part, so he had come back to complete the job. He was timely and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Rancho Vista Pool service to anyone who needs service. They are extremely knowledgeable about pools and go the extra mile. I will hire them again if we need additional pool service. You are in great hands with Rancho Vista pools. read more

I called to inquire about replacing our pool pump. Chad new all the information I wanted during our conversation and was over at our house to assess everything in less than 10 minutes. It was amazing and refreshing to have someone who is prompt and very informative. He helped with getting our super green pool where everything was breaking all fixed up and beautiful again. He helped answer questions via phone and text too. And now we have him helping us with weekly servicing too. Such a relief to have this taken care of and have it all working properly. The pool looks great. He did a fantastic job and was very professional, informative and fast at getting things done. He helped us with all our rebate paperwork too. I'm so glad he knows all the ins and outs. Definitely call Chad. You'll be so happy you did. read more

Rancho Vista Pool Services - Thank you for getting this pool turned around!! - Pool Cleaners Near Me

We are new pool owners and had a terrible experience with our first pool guy. We found Chad and he immediately optimized our setup, answered all our newbie questions, and even called manufacturers on our behalf when we were having issues. He is refreshingly direct with a great sense of humor, has demonstrated a deep subject matter expertise, truly understands customer service, and takes full accountability. He recently hired Ben who took over our route, he is a reliable hard worker with a contagious positive attitude. We appreciate the clean pool, trust these guys have our back, and enjoy their company. Chad is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. I called him to service and repair a few items for my client, and he did a fantastic job. Chad responded quickly and came out right away. Our pool was more of a kind then a pool at this point and Chad said he would have us up and swimming by the weekend . He did, we are, and the pool looks great. Very happy. read more

Chad is the best, end of story. He's super responsive, and totally took care of us. We just bought a house with a pool whose whole operating system had seen better days (PLEASE GET POOL INSPECTION IN ADDITION TO HOME INSPECTION, HOUSE BUYERS), and he totally hooked us up and renovated/replaced everything. We can now turn on the jacuzzi with our phones - whaaaaaaat! Now we just have to get the color-change lights installed. Also, Caleb cleans like a machine - I don't know how he does it but he's fab. read more

They did a great job in getting our pool crystal clear again after our pump died. The person they sent out was very efficient in coming over and giving a reasonable estimate for the job. I would definitely call him back when we need pool service again. read more

We REALLY didn't want to spend money on a pool service. Months after we moved in to our new house, we had a couple issues with the pool so we thought we would just have Rancho Vista Pool Service come check it out. Chad and Jesus came out and cleared up the pool, fixed our vacuum issue and we were so happy with the service we decided to go with the monthly service. We busted a pipe while digging around the pool and Chad came out immediately to stop the leak and repaired it. Money definitely well spent. read more

Chad exceeded our expectations. He turned our 30yr old spa & equipment into a 2016 dream machine that we use daily. Attention to detail is what is advertised. More like sunglasses flip flops and staring off into never never land while holding a pole and walking circles around the pool. I would highly recommend anyone others then these professional imposters. Pool was left dirty and murky multiple occasions. I finally opted to seek service elsewhere. read more

Completely impressed! After a few years of "self maintenance", I figured it was time to allow someone who knew what they were doing give our pool equipment some TLC. Chad came out and fixed all the leaks, identified causes to issues I could only see symptoms, and our pool is running like it did years ago when everything was new! HUMPH! Professionals... Who knew? From 1st discussion I knew Rancho Vista was the way to go. Great communications allowed easy & detailed understanding of work to be performed as well as cost to complete (which was WAY below what I was expecting!). I went out looking for a quick fix, and found the last pool service professional I will ever call. A great local company that takes pride in their work. Couldn't be happier. Neither will you. read more

Chad was excellent! He immediately responded to my yelp inquiries and quotation. His pricing was straight forward and he identified all the rebates I could take advantage of! Scheduling was a breeze. He even filled out all my rebate information and explained how to submit it. Great job! read more

This is the first time that I have taken the the time to write a review. I feel bad saying that because I Yelp things on the regular. I have used Ranch Vista Pools service for a few years now and they have always done stellar work on my pool and the equipment. I look back on last year when we were swamped with rain and time after time , they came out and helped me drain my pool and even installed a drain valve for me. This is just one example on how they make my pool life wayyy less stressful and are there when things go down with the pool and equipment. So , if your checking out pool services, I highly recommend this guy and his staff . He runs a solid company ! read more

I would like to thank Chad for stopping by and educating us with our pool. Being first time owners of a pool can be very stressful . We were having some issues with our pool and he came right in and got the pool running right away. His knowledge of the pool system gave us peace of mind knowing it was fixed and we found someone who is extremely honest and knowledgeable . If something is needed he gives information on the spot and also gave us recommendations of our pool system and most importantly he answered all our questions and educated us on the basics of our pool. Lastly, Chad was very honest and that is the type of service anyone can ask for. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for quality pool service. If you want an honest genuine knowledgeable pool man, Chad is the man. We are so lucky to have found him and have him as our new pool guy! read more

Provided my weekly pool service for a few months. I asked about a new pump and Chad quoted me $1,500 - $1,700 to install a Pentair IntelliFlo VS Pump model 011018. I declined as I was able to buy the pump online for $860. When I told them I bought/installed the pump myself they QUIT. read more

I love to give merit when it's deserved , but unfortunately I cannot say anything good about this company. The lack of sense of urgency was evident from the beginning, I should have known then, but this was the first time having t find a new service since my pool guy retired after 10 years. I was paying almost double what I used too, and all sorts of extras but I figured maybe I was lucky the prior 10 years. NOPE!! When my filter broke , and because I chose to try and save a few hundred dollars , they dropped me because "that's where they make their money " WOW! $130++ per month to come spend 30 minutes a week, only 48 weeks out of the year by the way! Apparently not enough . I'm sure someone else will appreciate my money read more

Chad is awesome! We were looking for a pool guy since the one we had previously wasn't working out. We stumbled upon his company and couldn't be more pleased. We are newly renting where we are at and he even came out and took pictures of the pools condition so we could have it to show it didn't happen while we were here (just to be safe). He's been nothing but a pleasure to work with and needless to say we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend him to EVERYone. You won't be disappointed! read more

Chad and Nick are the best! After purchasing our first house we've dealt with tons of different contractors and realize how shady most of them can be. That is not the case with Rancho Vista Pool Services. I trust Nick and Chad 100% and they do a great job with our pool. When people try and sell us something for our pool that they claim is the absolute best or when a contractor is trying to overcharge us for installing new pool lights, we always call Chad before making the decision and he's probably saved us at least $1,000 so far. He is upfront and honest which is sadly hard to find these days. read more

Fabulous experience! I originally called Chad due to my pump not pulling water from the pool into the filter. I had been messing with the vacuum and managed to get it locked up with air. I waited a couple of days, and when the problem had not resolved itself I knew I needed to call someone. I did my research and found that Rancho Vista Pool Service is the only company on yelp that is also on the BBB website and gets consistently great reviews. Chad called me back within about 10 minutes and said he could be down the next morning to take a look at my problem. I mentioned I also had a DE leak somewhere in my filter that I would like him to look at since he will be here. He was here exactly when he said he would be the next day, and wouldn't you know it after the pump running for maybe a minute, it was pulling water in from the pool. So, the good news is I don't have a pump issue but still have the DE issue. Chad said he could look at that and clean it for $85, which if you have ever cleaned your own DE filter, you know that is a bargain, plus he is cheaper than what Leslie Pool supply charges. While cleaning it, it became clear that all of my panels had small tears in them. The corners and ridges were wearing away and all the DE was getting out through those. So, I need to replace all of them. He showed me on each one where they are wearing, so I can see for myself what is going on. Chad is an honest guy who is running a great business. If you are having pool issues I would say, call him! You won't be disappointed. He shows up when he says, does what he says, and you don't get ripped off. He won't just show up in your yard one day, do work, invoice you and disappear. I would recommend him to anyone with a pool. read more

I gave Chad a call this morning and he was at my door 30 minutes later, ready to fix the issue I was having with my pool. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything, and I will definitely call him again next time I'm having any issues. Price seemed reasonable and the pool is already looking so much better! Thanks Chad! I'd highly recommend him. read more

We've dealt with a few different pool "companies" that while they gave a big effort, they certainly weren't "companies" and the friends/"out of work so I'll give this a try" people ultimately proved their lack of professionalism by dwindling away on scheduled upkeep or didn't show when an issue needing true pool knowledge would come about. While Rancho does not follow any of these less than desirable scenarios I can tell you this, the owner Chad is a good man apparently with a business way about him proving that the way that his business is ran is by truly helping the consumers and his accounts and growing a company of knowledgeable pool savvy employees that he has close commucation and strong relations with benefit It is a company led with integrity and their ethics and honesty will make you feel like you're not only paying a low price, you are also getting a great service and a full spectrum group if any problems should arise. Thanks very much for your great service and hand picked staff that regularly care of our 33,000 gallon SALT water pool weekly. I rarely write reviews but because of Ranchos incredible service, I felt like I had no choice!! Thanks a lot. read more
