Everything was delicious, making it difficult to choose just a couple to take home. There are a few of the friendliest pups roaming around who love pets. This is a nice olive oil stand. It's not an indoor location, it's a small stand on the road but they still have a good selection of oils and balsamics. I bought a miniature jalapeño olive oil and a rosemary olive oil. The rosemary olive oil was really good for cooking chicken, and I used the jalapeño olive oil to make eggs, which gave them a nice little kick. It's a simple spot but definitely worth stopping by if you like trying different olive oils. During your tasting, they provide you with small pieces of bread to dunk in your samples, yum! read more

What a great little place to stop and taste Olive Oil and Vinegar! They had about 15-20 Olive Oils, Vinegars and Local Honeys to sample. They also had a Corgie and some friendly horses!! The tasting is free but we couldn't help but leave with 4-5 bottles of Oil and Vinegar so we could sample our way through the rest of our vacation! Yum! read more

Although the product is acceptable, customer service is EXTREMELY horrendous. I was rudely reprimanded by the workers (maybe owners) for something I did not do. It was extremely embarrassing and not necessary! My group stopped off to do a bit of olive oil tasting and because another person near us had tried the strawberry rhubarb jam, I decided to as well. The older lady harshly and rudely addressed me: "You're not supposed to open the jams. If you open them you've just bought that jar because there are no preservatives!" There was NO SIGN saying not to open the jar AND the container was already open!!!! If you don't want your customers to sample the jams, you need to put a sign up or tell your customers before hand! How am I supposed to know your policies when it's NOT clearly marked and you have a product that is CLEARLY already open? DO NOT blame customers for your inconsistent policy enforcement and communication failure! I understand policy, but I cannot abide by employee rudeness and lack of customer service. UNACCEPTABLE! If I could give 0 stars, I would. But I'm giving 1 star for TERRIBLE customer service and unwelcoming atmosphere! DO NOT GO HERE unless you like being treated condescendingly. read more

This is a tiny farm stand that's rather easy to miss - but worth a visit! I came here for olive oil. The day I visited, a bunch of olive oil shops/farms were closed for some reason, and so we ended up here. I'm glad we did! The olive oils were really fragrant and they have a mini sized olive oils in case you want to try a few flavors. I went home with the garlic and lemon olive oils, as well as two unflavored ones. They do sample tastings so that you can try them. I forgot to ask whether their lemon and garlic are also grown on property but I am inclined to believe that they are, as the farm stand also sold garlic. The woman who helped me out also sent me home with a bag full of garlic for me to try growing at home, after hearing id had trouble with growing garlic in the last year! read more

I was given a bottle from a friend after they visited the farm. i guess when you visit the location you will be enticed to buy some bottles. However one should be cautious and read if the oil is a blend or not. The one I got was a blend with no other information. It had nor the taste or the smell of olives. If you like olive oil and dogs, this is the place to be. You are greeted by a bunch of them as you drive in. All friendly and very cute. People that rescue dogs have a special place in my heart. They produce 3 or 4 different kinds of olive oil. One of them pressed with lemon. It is seasonal and we were really lucky they had them. The oils were all very good and comparable to good Italian extra virgin ones. With the exception that they were made right there. You could not get any fresher. On my last trip I purchased a few bottles and when I got home I realized there was a mistake with my order. We were unexpectedly brought here on a wine tasting...picture this...driving down a non descript road then all of a sudden your car is being followed by the cutest dogs ever! Happiness levels = through the roof. Upon arrival we saw a cute stand with different olive oils and bread spread out and yes, the dogs were there too and I wanted to take them home with me! Now I am not someone to buy things on a whim but this olive oil was THAT GOOD. I bought a three pack, which included the garlic flavor - oh my - SO GOOD! Whenever I think about Rancho Olivos I smile. We stumbled upon this spot as we were leaving Brander. We were greeted by two friendly Corgies. They had peaches and different flavors of olive oil to taste. It was unbelievable how juicy the peaches were! The young lady that helped us was a joy to talk to. We also tasted the garlic olive oil which was delicious!
