We had an amazing experience at Twenty Mile Wine. Jeff, the owner, was an incredible host he was welcoming, hilarious, and full of interesting facts that made the tasting experience even better. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that energy carries throughout the entire winery. One thing we really appreciated was having the option between dry and sweet wine tastings. My wife prefers dry wines while I lean more toward sweet wines, so it was the perfect setup for both of us. Every wine we tried was excellent, but my personal favorite was the Olallieberry wine, the perfect balance of sweetness with just a little tartness. This wasn't just a wine tasting, it was an experience. Great atmosphere, great wine, and even better company. Definitely a 5-star stop and a place we'll be talking about for a long time. read more

Theresa was generous and helpful. Engaged us in conversation and offered ample opportunities to try their olive oils and balsamic vinegar. When she offers you the chance to try the oils and vinegars for free, please take her up on it. The wines, oils, and vinegars are nothing short of delicious. Theresa provides little morsels of bread to taste the oils and vinegars and she lets you taste as many as you like. My bf and I did the sweet wine tasting flight. We LOVE sweet wines and they had THEE BEST fruit wines, we shared a flight before having lunch. Then our host, Anthony, served us a sample platter of bread and six samples of olive oils...WHO KNEW THEY MADE BLOOD ORANGE OLIVE OIL???!!! I HIGHLY recommend a stop over, they actually do have other wines, others said were very good, I'll take word for it. We found this gem and I highly recommend them. If you like good wine stop in. We really enjoyed the wine and also talking to the owner. I will definitely come back when we come back through Solvang. I don't like Chardonnay, but theirs was exquisite made in steel so it doesn't have that oakiness that I dislike. We did the wine tasting reasonably priced each one was delicious. Thinking of ordering some for Christmas gifts. They also sell olive oils and honey's which I definitely need to try. He didn't try the more fruitier wine flight but I would think if that is what you like peach blackberry etc. this might be a good place for you to stop in as well. read more

This was our first time here and I am glad my boyfriend and I decided to stop here. As you walk in you will enter an eccentric home like place. You are greeted by the young man (forgot to get his name) we were the only ones there when we walked in. He was very friendly and explained the wine tastings. We decided to go to with the sweet wine tasting $20 ea. they have no appetizers (chocolate, charcuterie plates) but we were able to do a complimentary olive oil tasting which was amazing. The interior decor is very comfy and they have some beautiful chairs made out of wine barrels! They offer a wine tasting at $15.00 per person and each of the five wines are amazing. You will for sure want to leave with a bottle or two! The owner (Jeff-call him Jefe) and his staff are friendly, nice, social and know how to keep the vibes going. Quirky and full of attitude. My bf and I stopped in on Valentine's Day and miraculously found a spot on their front patio. In the multitude of wineries and boutique stores, Twenty Mile might seem modest in comparison-- but don't let looks deceive you. This was one of our top stops in Solvang and we'd definitely come back. The wine was delish, but above all, Jeff, the owner, made our experience just fantastic. Interior is elegant, rustic, and cozy. While the seating has been cleared for COVID safety purposes, the patio has 5 small, socially-distanced tables facing the street. It's shielded slightly by the shrubs, for some semblance of privacy. If you're into people-watching like me, this is a prime location. We opted for a tasting flight. While we loved all flavors, the grenache blanc stole the spotlight (ridiculously good!). Had to cop a bottle to support the business. Throughout our time here, Jeff took the time to welcome every visitor, making hysterical conversation while still expertly pouring wines at each table. Wow wow wow we went into our favorite wine tasting hangout and got 6 bottles of our favorite Olallieberry sweet wine to take home and last us until our next visit. Upon arrival here we took a seat at the wine bar and where promptly greeted and were poured two nice fruity glasses of our favorite wine. He is so funny, witty, personable and really doesnt treat you like a number (like other wine tasting rooms) He greets all of his customers like family and genuinely takes the time to get to know everyone- which is why Its always such a pleasure to see him and catch up with life. Trust me when I say, I went to all the others in town, this place, hands down had the best full bodied, best tasting Olive Oils and Basalmic Vinegars in town! I couldn't decide which ones I wanted, I wanted them all. I left with Fig Basalmic, Lime & Jalepeno White Basalmic, Garlic and Mushroom Olive Oil and Black Truffle Oil.
