Had a spontaneous day trip to Solvang, my friends & I were actually on our way to get hot chocolate when we heard karaoke singing nearby and it pulled us in. They have a few standout drinks, the peach spritz was great, and two of my friends had never tried mulled wine before, which ended up being perfect for the occasion. Plus, it comes in the cutest cups. The whole place is completely pinked out, super fun vibe. We stayed about 45 minutes, had some drinks, and joined in on karaoke with other guests. One heads-up though, don't request ABBA's "Gimme Gimme," it got turned down. Apparently it's played a lot or not a favorite of the owner. I thought it was a bit odd to refuse a song request that isn't vulgar, especially when people are there supporting the business. This was a fun stop to find. Everything here closes early it's more of a daytime town. Calilove was the only place you can hear the music and people singing karaoke on the entire quiet strip at 7:30pm. They only had one bartender but still quick service. My daughter and I stumbled across this adorable wine tasting room by chance when visiting Solvang for a girls trip, and had such a blast! From the delicious wines (my favorites were the Chardonnay and Rose), to the super cute and fun atmosphere, the evening Karaoke party, and our amazing hostess Lea who made the whole experience truly epic, it was truly memorable. They said they were closed early because it was slow which I don't think is really fair because it says 10pm. This place was one heck of a gem while visiting Solvang! I happen to be passing through for one night only and it was already after 7pm. This city goes to sleep early, however I did find this cool "wine bar" No food. So I went with the wine tasting and man was it worth it! It was also karaoke night! This place is not as fun as it used to be. After singing 2 songs the girl working cut us off. I requested a 3rd song for karaoke as no one else was singing and she said "there's a couple more requests ahead of you" I respected that. Let me first say that this is what I'm hoping to be a one off review of this location. And I hope this isn't the service that normally happens here or the behavior that this business allows to happen while their employees are at work. I was looking for a karaoke spot to sing in Solvang and it turns out this is the only location. As we walked in, we are greeted by Nick, super friendly host who also happens to be super drunk. He was entertaining a party that was already there, so we assumed he must be part of their party and he also happens to working but also celebrating. This normally would've not been a problem for us. But Nick never brought us what we ordered. We wanted to try the sparkling coconut wine, he brought us a taste. We told him we wanted the bottle. Instead of bringing us the bottle he brought us a tasting. We do not order the wine tastings, as we want the bottle. This is where everything went to astray. We decided just to pay for the two wine tastings, but unfortunately, Nick was either to coked out or too drunk to remember that he had already charged us, so he proceeded to come back to us three separate times to try to charge us again for what we had already paid for. He apologize , made light of it then five minutes later came back and try to charge us again. We were still having a good time, even though he kept trying to charge us, then my girlfriend decided to buy another round. Now, Nick came over and said he was hooking us up with these two, even though my girlfriend just paid for them. I told him no you are not looking us up, We paid for these , he then proceeded to get mad and became disrespectful. At that time, I told him he better back up before he regrets what my reaction to his actions are going to be. Luckily, there was another female server that was able to talk some sense into this COKED OUT/DRUNK man. Message to management, if you would like to see for yourself what transpired that day feel free to look at your video footage for Saturday June 29 at roughly 6 PM Like I said, I hope this is a one off experience that I have had, and a that this place doesn't regularly employ or allow their staff members to be Drunk and COKED out during their shifts. I was in Solvang for an overnight and this place was a great time! There's nonstop Karaoke -- either step up and jump into whatever song comes up, or request your own. The wines were OK and not overwhelmingly great, but the environment, server, and fellow patrons made up for that. When in that neighborhood, I will stop by again. read more

BEWARE this is a big cash grab from them. They bank on their bartender getting you drunk off of wine and verbally selling you their wine club membership, lying about the details then give you some little rinky-dink flyer with info to go on their website where you can supposedly pick your wines, and that it's only charged to you three times a year when that was just a big flat out lie their website has no place where you could pick your wines and they charge you every month and send you whatever wine they feel like sending you. There's no place on there to manager your account and cancel your subscription. You have to go into a deep dive search to find a phone number and the phone number that you find to try and call and cancel your subscription is never answered by anyone it's cheaper to just pay for what you're drinking there do not sign up for their wine club. Shame on me for being so trusting of people that costed me $600. Outside of their whole little wine club scam. The place itself in Solvang is cute. It was a fun time. Would I go back there again probably not because they left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

They were very welcoming and when I told Michelle we were there for my friends birthday, she suggested we all have a Chanbomb. We all agreed and it was really fun! Had the best experience here! One of the only places open late in Solvang. Came on a Thursday night and Nick was working the bar. His sister owns the bar and you could tell this place was family owned. Such a cool vibe! Attention to detail is above and beyond.
