    Best Mexican food in Ogden

Home away from home. I found my new place to buy my groceries. They have fresh fruits and veggies. The staff are helpful and friendly. I love that this place gives me a home feeling. I can enjoy some food after shopping. My family loved it.

Inner city Ogden doesn't offer a lot of grocery options and the whole of Ogden doesn't offer a lot of nice Hispanic markets. Rancho on 26th fills both of those needs. The store is large, clean, well stocked, and priced extraordinarily well for just about anything you would need to make recipes in your comfort zone or if you are venturing to try something from a different culture. I shop at this store when I need some specialty spices to make things like Asada, Al Pastor, etc. I love their meat counter, their produce selection, and I always leave with a few things that I didn't intend to buy. One or two fresh pastries tend to make it in my cart and there is ALWAYS room for homemade tamales. Here's a few hits from the place: Fresh bakery - breads, cakes, cookies. Traditional in the making and made fresh in the store. Fresh butcher block - Every cut of meat you would expect and a lot of hard to find items. Good fish and shellfish selection as well. Produce - acres of great produce at prices a LOT lower than you pay anywhere else. Spices - a wall of them. Believe it or not there is more than one type of chili paste and powder and these guys have it. Very inexpensive as well. There isn't a spice you cannot find that isn't 1/3 the cost of the other grocery stores. Dairy - Fresh milk and cheeses including homemade Queso Fresca. LOVE the cheeses here. Sundries - Everything else you would need to stock the house. There is also a little Taqueria hooked to the building and a tortilla factory right in the place. Fresh tortillas all day long. How can you go wrong here??

This market has the absolute best produce anywhere. Many items not usually found at regular places like Smiths, Winco, Walmart market, etc.

This market is NOT on 25th street. It is on 26th street. It's a great little market and has some weekly great deals.

The guy who we have seen at this fresh market pharmacy when we pick up our medication's always…read moreseems like we are inconveniencing him not friendly doesn't give eye contact, and today I couldn't get any help from him with my prescription that the doctor continues to refill because I have an issue that is very painful. There is absolutely no patient advocacy, and if you have prescriptions for opioids, do not go here they are very prejudiced. We get looked at with very ugly stairs from the male pharmacist when we pick up our buprenorphine. I guess he would rather us go overdose on heroin, then get actual recovery treatment. I'm suffering with a very painful injury to my muscle. It's called piriformis and it can last up to 10 years and it's very painful. It is a disorder with the glute muscle from it being overworked that causes you not to be able to sit at all! I have lost a lot of weight due to my Crohn's issues so my muscles are not able to support themselves I suffer from Crohn's, which causes me to end up with bile in my mouth if I lay down flat at night on my back or stomach so that means I have to sleep setting up. So I have to sit in order to sleep. I was written 90 of the 5 mg Flexeril From the Ogden clinic along with some anti-inflammatories the Flexeril were so mild that I had to take three at 2 PM when my pain started hurting in order to get any relief combined with two Celebrex. And then at 10 o'clock when I'm getting ready for bed, I have to take four in order to go to sleep otherwise I don't sleep. I am having to sit directly on an already irritated muscle, and this pharmacist thinks that I just have all the time in the world to waste and wait on doctors to call back and give certain instructions because, he doesn't want the label to have the wrong instructions. As long as I know what I'm taking and how many I need what does it matter what that label says? I'm sick and tired of no advocacy in the pharmacy anymore. I feel as though this pharmacist is withholding my ability to fill this medication because they want to make sure that the doctor is aware of how many I'm taking while the doctor is the one who has been refilling the medication now three times and less than two months. If I'm prescribed 90 pills over the course of 30 days and she is refilling that twice within 30 days. What does that tell you ? That the doctor is well aware of how I am taking that medication. I am a 10 year recovered heroin and cocaine addict. If I wanted real drugs, I could get them. I could go get something a heck of a lot stronger than Flexeril right now if I wanted also. I do not appreciate the disrespect. I also don't appreciate how this pharmacist refused to call the doctor but wanted me to make those calls. Don't pharmacist take an oath to advocate for patients? And if that pharmacist knows that it's gonna take a long time for me to get in touch with that doctor. Why doesn't that pharmacist want me to be able to have my medication as soon as possible so I can be out of pain? There are people that killed themselves over piriformis syndrome. You can google that. this seriously affects your mental health and this pharmacist had no compassion for me whatsoever. I will never go back to fresh market.
