Their produce is fresh and well-stocked (though sometimes random things are very picked over like green onions). They have tons of variety in brands so I can find exactly which Korean/Thai/Chinese variety I've gotten used to. Very well stocked in the pantry aisle and a nice selection of kitchenware and household items, beauty products, gifts. The deli section is well stocked with ready-made kimbap and banchan. Big freezer and seafood section too. There is only a boba and K-beauty shop in the leased storefronts in the front of the market but hoping they attract some restaurants into the area soon like Chinatown. We need some good Asian food down south!

Tastees has all kinds of Eastern European baked goods, cheeses and meats, imported shelf staples, etc. Nice treats too! The day I stopped by, they had just restocked their Milka chocolates, and there was a broad selection to choose from. I was more in search of ingredients for a dish I was planning, which this market fell short of. The meat and fresh produce section is limited and the seafood did not look fresh. The bakery that is attached inside was 75% empty and only prepackaged bread products were displayed. There were two other little shops as well where you could purchase food/deserts. Overall, my expectations for this place fell short and with the limited selection I think I would prefer a more local place that doesn't require me to go out of my way to shop at.

This was REALLY outside of my comfort zone, but I'm trying to push myself to try new things. When I walked in, I was warmly greeted. The whole place felt very inviting. It was fairly empty for lunch on a Friday but more people did filter in throughout my meal. They are a Pepsi establishment, and my Diet Pepsi was pretty good! I ordered the mix koobideh kabob which comes with one chicken and one beef kabob. It also comes with rice, onion, and basmati rice. I also ordered a side of plain naan since they were out of garlic. The meal comes with soup. The soup smelled amazing and looked nutritious with lentils and vegetables. I'm personally not a soup person because I don't like mushy foods, so the texture was hard for me but I thought the flavor was great. The kabobs smelt AMAZING and the flavors match it. The meat on both was incredibly tender and juicy. The flavors really came through nicely. I also really enjoyed the grilled tomato. Overall, this was a really good experience for me especially since it was so far out of my comfort zone.
