Stopped in here for the first time at lunch. It's a really nice place. Warm, fresh chips and great salsa. The asado is great and very uniquely seasoned, possibly nutmeg. Very clean (tables, floors, bathrooms), wait staff was very friendly, fast, great at refills. Drinks were huge, great big menu with all the favorites one would expect. Food tasted good and was out fast. So when looking: fast, friendly, clean, good food at a reasonable price. read more

Slow, awkward lunch service. I had the chicken chimichanga, which was okay but the chicken was not pulled apart enough - it was difficult to cut. I could hardly tell what our waiter was saying. My husband and I went here for dinner tonight and it was so good! I had a raspberry margarita and it was amazing and my husband had beer on draft. I went there today at 12:30PM and tried to place a takeout order for 2, $12 meals. I had a coupon that said it was good for $7 but the cashier said it was good for $6 so I said ok. The cashier said the bill is $29. I said how can 2 meals at $12 each with no drinks or add ons come to $29 with a coupon? She said tax. I said what is 2 X 12? She looked at me like???? I said $24. I said why would tax be $5 or $6? She finally got exasperated and said much did you want this to be? I told her nothing and walked out. read more

Never again. We came here on a Tuesday. There was no staff. We asked for an appetizer 3 times. The waiter took our order (wrote it down) and then came back 10 minutes later to take our order again. Our food still came out wrong. It took over 15 minutes to get the check to pay and leave. I almost walked out. The food is just average and definitely not worth the trouble. This was our third time coming here and the service is usually average - never great. No more. We will not be back. read more

Perhaps not the most authentic, but awesome black beans (actually made in house, perhaps?) and delicious overall. Shrimp were some of the best I've had from any restaurant in the Cincinnati area--not just "Mexican restaurant" best, best-best. Generous portions, some unique options. Will be back! read more

This place is the worst Mexican restaurant I. Northern Kentucky. I took my father there when he was in town and he asked if I still loved him. His food was overcooked, mine was devoid of taste. Go down 27 a little more and there's a MUCH MUCH better Mexican restaurant. read more

Service was good; we REALLY liked their salsa (lil spicy). I had the chile Colorado and the girlfriend had the pollo bandito. We both thought the food was good. Not the best Mexican food but far better than most. The interior was clean and decorated very well, would recommend. read more

This place was terrible. We ordered a chicken quesadilla and chicken nachos. Both had a puddle of liquid on the bottom of the plates and tasted like chicken noodle soup. There was no seasoning other than salt, and the cheese had a weird waxy consistency. Strangest Mexican food I have ever had. read more

Seems like this place is hit or miss... I've had some great experiences, but I've also had some poor experiences with both service and food. We keep going back because it's close and convenient, but there are other Mexican restaurants in the area that are better and more reliable. I think they recently did away with their daily specials--be sure to get a coupon on the back of Kroger receipts if you go. read more

I didn't care for our waitress. She was a Caucasian but could speak some Spanish. The tacos weren't anything special and the quesidilla wasn't good at all. It didn't even look like a quesidilla, more like a taco. It was WAY too expensive too. I won't be going back. read more

I'd say pass unless you're starving and don't want to drive another five minutes to the next Mexican joint. While I typically can find something I love at all Mexican places...this one comes up short. I love the food, however the salsa always seems to taste different, you never know what you're going to get. Which is kind of frustrating. You would think they would have a recipe? And most of the staff is great. I come here very often. One specific waiter is always really strange and never makes eye contact and looks off and away from you when talking. It's really odd. He also kind of acts annoyed when you ask for anything. If you thank him he just says "ok". I don't know but me and my boyfriend try and avoid being sat in his section because he's just rude. This is usually my favorite restaurant in town. They are fast and know what I want when I have certain servers. Other servers there do not listen to my needs. I know it is going to be a horrible experience when the women are servers or the men that are not normally there serve us. The menu has no mention of onions or other items like guacamole on the grand burrito that they just decide to throw on the grand burrito. When I order something, I expect it to be exactly as it states in the menu. I don't like guacamole, pico de Gallo or onions and it turns me off to go to a place that doesn't listen to me or make their burritos arspecified in the menu. I will be finding a different Mexican restaurant due to the problems I have had about five times now. Tried to go there again and told them no guacamole and no onions and they STILL gave me onions and they still messed up my order and I ordered a taco salad. I am just done!!!! I hope they go out of business because I am tired of them screwing my food up. read more

Great Mexican food. Probably all I can comment on. Great service, friendly servers, and a wide variety of dishes.

Phoned in order and arrived exactly when told. The order sat on the counter getting cold as only one cashier and their policy is not to check out carry out at the bar. When I suggested to cashier to get help, she said they were short staffed again and I would just have to wait in line. The line was over ten couples deep to check out those who dined in. The food remained sitting on counter getting cold. Cashier rudely said to touch bottom of container...as if that would solve the problem as would have to wait another ten mins to be recooked. It's just not worth the wait and lack of service for barely warm food for the price they charge. read more
