I've been down around this area for four years. I didn't try Maria's pizza till about a week ago…read more It was so good. I had it a few days later. It didn't cross sauce the cheese. The ingredients were excellent. I'm a big fan of Aurelio's and Cominos pizza but Maria's is a better pizza.

Blech!! Never ate here before. Never will again! Appetizers were greasy gross. The French onion…read moresoup was so salty I couldn't eat it. There was so much mozzarella (it should be an accent not a big goofy blob) I couldn't eat it. The waitress started to take my bowl away and I explained (she didn't bother to ask) that I couldn't eat it because it was so salty. She said oh sorry about that. That was all. Then the food.... eggplant parmesan. The eggplant was so thick and heavy and extremely greasy. Red pasta sauce tasted like unseasoned tomato goop. The noodles were cold and under cooked. The whole thing was smothered in goopy mozzarella. It was awful. I only.took a few bites and couldn't eat it. My son got the manicotti. He said the same about the sauce (we both have bad heartburn from it) and he said the inside of the manicotti didn't taste like anything and the filling was runny, not firm. He said it was gross. Our waitress never offered to fill our drinks. We were not offered any dessert, not that we would have eaten any. The bill was $90 before tip. We were royally screwed. It was disgusting and I'll never go back.

This was my 2nd visit to Dock Rotz, the 1st time the food and service was FANTASTIC so I decided to…read morego again and take my mom for her birthday. It was on a Tuesday during lunch. Thank goodness for the food runner refilling drinks & removing dirty dishes because the waitress was absolutely AWFUL (even after asking for refills we didn't get them). The food wasn't as good as the 1st visit either. We had burnt sandwiches & dry fish. Our first visit was after lunch rush, my suggestion is to go at an office peak time. The owners should seriously think about providing some training for the waitstaff to get them up to par on successfully doing their job

Interesting place with bar food and a decent atmosphere. I was warned that service was slow, but…read morethat wasn't the case sat down and placed my order and had my appetizer in 8 minutes. Hot and fresh. Only problem is that the cheese sauce has a film and was like water. It was scorching hot though. The burger was good sized, hot, and juicy. I wish that they offered to cook it to a temp other than mid-well. Over all, this place is fine. Nothing fancy, you get what you pay for. If I were in town again, I'd stop in again. Just a note. They charge a 3% surcharge if you pay by credit card. It's not noted anywhere with signage. It's not on the menu in fine print. It shows up on your bill. I've heard people say that "if you can't afford to tip, don't eat out. Well if you have to charge people a surcharge to pay by credit card, then don't open a restaurant. If you are going to do that, then post it on the menu and at the front counter so people know.
