The filet melted in your mouth. The roasted potato was incredible and even better when I put some of the herbed butter on it. I'm not sure if the cake came from here but the cake was so moist and delicious and the icing had just the right amount of sweetness. The salad with pasta and vegetables with a beautiful flower on the side was delicious. They were very free with the drinks and top shelf liquor. I am SO GLAD I took their advice, and so glad I came across Abryanna. At the point I hired her, she had done just a few weddings, but from her professionalism and sunny demeanor, it was obvious she was meant for this. She provided great insight and advice throughout the process, and I appreciate her work for my new husband and I. Her biggest value truly came the wedding day, though. She kept everything running smoothly, finalized venue setup while we were all in hair/makeup, and headed up the team effort to put out a rather large fire just before the ceremony, and kept the flames at bay during the reception. That last part was invaluable to me, as it was a worry throughout the planning year that came true, even though no one believed me it would. I had expressed this concern to Abryanna, and she was prepared. I HIGHLY recommend her services as a coordinator, and if you aren't organized and "with -it," she offers full planning as well!

Located in downtown Joliet, this magnificent building is a train station and so much more. From the lower levels it may look like just an old train station, but walk up stairs and bask in the beauty of the Grand Ballroom. It's big, it's beautiful, and with it's large cathedral style ceiling, it's loud. The ballroom was very delicately decorated for the wedding. White flowers and gold appliqué all around and beautiful star lights on the high ceilings and the walls. The bartenders kept the beer, wine and booze flowing like the adjacent Des Plaines River. The DJ kept us dancing, but the food was mediocre at best. Wedding food never tends to blow me away. The wedding I attended here was well executed and the Grand Ballroom put on quite a show.
