She was causing me pain and I kept telling her to go softer and slower, as I couldn't relax and would stiffen up my body since she was hurting me. She even forgot to do some areas. There is no way to cancel on the website or in their phone tree. You have to speak with a receptionist. That's fine, but make them accessible! It took me 30 minutes just to cancel. Reason for canceling is they don't do pediatric Covid testing (under age 11), and I need a place where the whole family can be tested at once. They did not share the age requirement upon booking, although DOB was provided. (Other booking sites have shared age requirements upon booking.) They may be great once you get in the door, but I will not plan to deal with that booking system again!

He first tried conservative measures which helped some of the pain, but we progressed in measured fashion to an epidural injection which alleviated 80% of my pain. I was still recovering from left rotator cuff surgery, but I have to say that I suffered much more from the herniated disc. Dr. Heftler always responded promptly with compassion and a detailed explanation of his treatment plan. I could also get a rapid phone responses and appointments with him. His down to earth demeanor and sense of humor always reassured me and I left his office with an optimistic outlook. I only required one of a potential three epidural Injections and with gentle stretching, PT and most of all, patience I am now pain free. I waited until I could make this statement after playing 2 consecutive rounds of golf in Florida before I posted this review- 3 months after my MRI. He is a great clinician and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to avoid back surgery after a significant herniated disc.
