I hired Ramos Landscaping Services to clean up both my front and backyard after letting everything grow out for a few months. They removed weeds from the lawn, rock areas, driveway pavers, and underneath the rosebushes. The place looks completely refreshed. They showed up on time and got straight to work. The two guys on site were respectful and took care around the house and hardscape. I appreciated that they didn't use heavy machinery that could risk damaging anything -I've had that happen before with other companies. Overall, solid work and attention to detail. I'll be using Ramos again for maintenance and future projects. read more

We recently hired Jesus and his crew to redo our driveway and front porch with stamped concrete. They also removed our lawn and replaced it with two walkways, decomposed granite, and a rock garden. In addition, they completed part of our backyard. Overall, I am very pleased with Jesus and his team. They were always on time, worked consistently, and finished the project on schedule (without any breaks) --and for a reasonable and fair rate compared to what other companies had quoted us. After each day's work, they cleaned up and left everything looking neat and organized. Jesus is honest, hardworking, and dependable. He has a great attitude, shows up always smiling, listens carefully, and makes sure the job is done right. He quickly addressed all my concerns and was always willing to work with me on any changes along the way. I also appreciated that he kept me updated so I always knew what to expect. The quality of their work truly met my expectations, and the finished product has completely transformed the look of our home. We're very happy with the results and would gladly recommend Jesus and his team to anyone looking for reliable and quality work. read more

We got a puppy during the pandemic and while our backyard was picturesque, the flagstone wasn't much fun for our little buddy to run across and chase tennis balls. So, we plotted getting the backyard redone, kinda forgot, remembered again and casually asked Jesus if Ramos Gardening did landscaping. He said "yea!" And boy do they! They got started two weeks after taking a look at what we had and what we wanted. We also went ahead and had our driveway redone. We got the cutest "grass" put down and both we and the pups love it back here. The paver guy was amazing! A total artist! And we keep finding other cute moments like the one below. Jesus and his team are fantastic! 100% recommended. read more

Ramos Landscaping Contractor - Pavers - Landscaping Near Me - San Jose, California

They gave a great quote to pull out weeds in the front lawn and replace it with weed barrier and mulch. Placed a few plants in the front lawn and a paver pathway. What was great was that they were able to move my rusty old pergola from my front yard to backyard. They had to cut thru my persimmon tree as it was growing thru the slats. But they were able to do it and reassemble it in the backyard where I need some shade. A bunch of guys showed up for the pergola but the yard was done in 1 day with just 2 men. So grateful. They also worked in very hot weather too. read more

We had Jesus's crew complete a small job in our backyard. We had some leftover flagstones that we wanted layed out with enough space to plant some ground cover in between. They also made sure our existing sprinkler system worked and covered the new area. Simple and easy job they completed in less than 2 days. The second bigger job was to install artificial turf in my husband's mom's front yard along with some plants, a drip system and bark. They did it right. No seams! This job was completed in one week. My husband doesn't throw out compliments readily so this is high praise coming from him. And his mom is even pickier and she had no complaints. Ramos Landscaping was fairly priced and completed the job we specified. read more

Typical flakey contractor. Came over, told us he can take job and will revert with a quote. I spent the next week trying to locate him to move forward. When I finally got a hold of him, he said he's too busy to take on more jobs. What? My time isn't valuable? Don't tell people you can do the job when you cannot. Simple as that. read more

He provided very reasonable quote and kicked off the implementation within short time. After the installation, there's some issue with the dripping line and he fixed right away with no additional charge. We like our new front yard so much! read more

If I could give them 6 stars I would. Ramos Gardening just finished trimming my lemon and apple tree. The apple tree split in half and fell down for lack of water, that's my fault. Who knew that trees needed water. They did an amazing job, from beginning to end. They trimmed all the branches and took everything to the front yard. Their quote was half of what others were charging. So trust me they are very affordable and professional. read more

Jesus and his team did an excellent job with our front yard. We needed new sod, new irrigation systems and also had to replace the our sprinklers. 1) Quality work and great price They quality of work and the materials they used is really good. They have a wide range of materials you can choose from based on your budget. They also have discounts in nurseries if you choose to utilize them. The quote they offered was very reasonable. 2) Responsive and proactive: They came in quickly to inspect and provide a quote and completed the work very quickly with high quality. 3) Ownership : We did not have to follow up with them, they completed the project like clockwork. 4) Customer Satisfaction: Jesus and his team accompanied us to the nursery and helped with transporting the plants. After the project was over and the payments were made he offered to come in and check-on the lawn and the plants which shows they go beyond what they are contractually obligated to do. I definitely recommend Ramos for your next garden project. read more

I would highly recommend Ramos Gardening for all your landscaping and irrigation needs. Jesus did an excellent job renovating our landscaping and irrigation system after a major house remodel. In the front yard he repaired our front sprinklers, added a new drip line system and added new plants to the existing landscaping. In the backyard (pics attached) he Installed a new irrigation system (sprinklers and drip system), installed a new smart timer, rototilled the old lawn and installed new sod, sprinklers and bender boards. I was a very demanding customer who requested lots of changes mid-job, and Jesus did everything I requested. The whole job was completed in less than a week at a very fair price. read more

SOOOOO wonderful!!! They were able to come out quickly for a quote, gave me a reasonable number, and was also able to get the work done by my deadline, which was quick! I spoke with and got 6 other bids- Ramos was the best for the work he was going to do for us. Workers here each day on time, and cleaned up after themselves. Fixed ALL our irrigation, as we had old pipes and manual sprinkles. He even added more where he saw fit (WITHOUT ME ASKING) and didn't charge more. He really just did what he thought was best and found fair. Very hard working and honest. If I ever have more work for him I'd hire in a heartbeat! I'd give him 6 stars if I could. :) read more

He did an excellent job on my sister's front yard. He did clean up and put rocks as my sister liked. It does surely looked so neat and tidy.

The best. We have worked over the years with many contractors, gardeners, home-service providers, and many other professionals in the maintenance of our home. Ramos Gardening stands above those. Responsiveness---we contacted him on Wednesday to do some outside landscaping. The work was completed on Friday. Cleanliness and professionalism---left the work site CLEANER than when they arrived. Communicated frequently about the project. Quality of work---I drew my design on paper and Ramos team delivered perfectly. We endorse Ramos Gardening without reservation. Really the best contractor we've worked with in San Jose. read more

Jesus was great. He came out within a few days to give an estimate, provided a start date for the next week, started as scheduled, and finished the work a day early. Our irrigation system failed and all our grass died while we were away and renovating our home. We called Ramos to give us a quote to replace our dead grass with new sod. He ended up redoing our entire front yard landscaping - planting new plants, replacing our irrigation system, and redoing our paver walkways for a very reasonable price. He also was very helpful in picking plants, stones, and materials to ensure it matched our vision. Most contractors disappear after the work is done, but Ramos has been very helpful with maintaining the irrigation sprinkler system after installation - coming on two separate occasions to fix an older pipe and value that broke. I highly recommend Ramos Gardening for front yard and back yard work. In my house, both places had hard soil with hardly any vegetation. They did a good job of putting brand new grass on both places. I took multiple quotes and Ramos was most affordable for the kind of work I wanted to do. They started the work within couple of days of the first call, which was very good. They also did a good job of covering the entire area with sprinklers and were willing to adjust their plans based on my feedback on how I want to put the sprinklers. I liked that flexibility. They installed drip and sprinkler system, a side yard of river stones, a beautiful little lawn and on a difficult hill behind the retaining wall they added soil and planted our lantana plants then covered hill with mulch.
