David and his crew made us custom rain gutters for our gazebo and moved a downspout for our deck. His communication skills and sheet metal expertise (30+ yrs) were invaluable. Without a doubt, David knows his work, inside and out. He can cut gutters even as he talks with you and everything comes out perfectly. Additionally, his knowledgeable crew members work with him seamlessly and efficiently. No drama or stress or communication glitches. David quickly problem-solved our tricky gutter situation. (Another gutter company recommended him because they didn't have the ability to find or customize the smaller OG gutters we needed. I discovered that most raingutter companies only work with pre-made, standard gutter sizes and can't customize them because that requires sheet metal skills.) Dave was easily able to locate 4" gutters and tweak them on the spot to best serve our situation. His crew is professional, efficient, tidy, and pleasant-- they've obviously worked together a long time. I had a gutte sagging on one end where water collected. I found Champion on Yelp and requested a quote. David called me and I texted my address and a picture of the gutter. When he stopped by to quote, he made a quick assessment, quoted a fair price, and then said, "I could fix it now". I had been trying to get the gutter repaired for a few couple weeks because many companies didn't want to look at a small job. So of course I said yes. Then he and his team (2 other workers) made quick work of the sagging gutter and were on their way. Awesome! This was during COVID. This is actually as good as it gets - completely painless and our gutters look BEAUTIFUL. From the get-go, David was extremely great to work with. Supe friendly. Came over, and gave us a very reasonable quote. And a bit of advice, which I really like. We ended up going with aluminum gutters using the extra thick aluminum. (I was a little hesitant about aluminum, because our last gutters were aluminum and extremely flimsy, but these feel almost as solid as stainless steel). We needed a couple of fascia boards removed and they even offered to take care of that with the job. We scheduled it, he and his team came by on the scheduled day, removed and disposed of the old crappy gutters, and now we have beautiful gutters that add some nice clean lines to our house. There was one small thing i asked them to take care of after they finished (removing one more fascia board) installing everything - they promptly came over that Saturday and took care of it in about 15 minutes. Safe to say, these guys will be my go-to gutter guys from here on out, and i can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Desperate to find someone, anyone, who not only would answer their phone, but also would come out in driving rain to check my gutters and roof since a big leak had deveoped in one of the bedrooms I asked my gutter cleaning guy if he knew anyone and he gave me David's name. David arranged to come out on a Saturday, and then again Sunday morning to troubleshoot during the worst storm in 10 years! (Anyone else I talked to said it would be at least a week, or as long as a month, they were so backed up with emergencies.) The issue ended up not being the gutter at all, but an improperly sealed mounting bracket done a few weeks prior by an electrical company on the roof. I appreciate the excellent service. I just happened to be driving down the street and saw the Champion Raingutter Solutions truck at a job site. I recognized the truck and equipment as a machine on a trailer that makes custom cut gutters. I had a house in San Jose that needed a roof and gutters so I stopped my car and introduced myself to David Loredo, the company owner. I asked him to stop by my house to give me a bid on gutters. He was out there the very next day and gave me a good solid and fair bid. I also needed a roof so he recommended El Camino Roof Systems of San Jose. He called the roofing company for me and had an estimator call me and give me a great bid. As it turns out, these two companies do many jobs together and I hired both of them. David knew just when to show up to hang the gutters and he got the job done in record time. When it came time to pay for the job, David also gave me a discount on the original quoted price. I contacted David Loredo of Champion Gutter to see if he was interested in doing some work on our home's gutters. He said he was interested and come out to look things over and provide a bid. We then texted back and forth regarding several additional options and what he would charge for each. I then sent him a text with the options I wanted and my understanding of his price. ​Text sent to David Fri, July 14 8:15 PM "Just to be clear, I sent the the wording for the contract options that we want by text last Saturday. If you want me to send it by e-mail just text me your email address." Text received from David Sun, July 16, 10:49 PM "david.loredo@sbcglobal.net" Text sent to David Mon, Aug 7 3:36 PM (also sent the same by e-mail) "Gutter work for [our address] 1) Refasten gutters to rafters using screws with neoprene washers at all rafter locations and check all seams, repairing those that leak - $275 2) Replace rear NE downspout with newly fabricated one that matches the style of the existing downspout - $55 3) Replace 16 foot section of gutter over front door with a style and size that matches the rest of the gutters on the house and with down spout flange (ready for home owner to install their own chain type downspout) on the south end of the gutter. - $200 Total cost due upon completion of above work -$530 Work will be done on the day Los Gatos Roofing tears off existing roof yet before they install OSB decking to make it easy to do the gutter work without interference from roofing materials. Dale Carstensen of LG Roofing suggests this would mean starting gutter work near mid day. Roof tear-off is currently scheduled to occur between 8/14/17 and 9/1/17 with the exact date to be provided by LG Roofing one week prior to the tear off date. David Loredo will be on site while work is being done, either supervising the work and/or doing work himself." Text received from David Tues, Aug 8, 7:35 AM "I don't see it being a problem that should be fine"​ Aug 17 David and his workers did show up on the agreed date with his helpers. Shortly after lunch he came to me and said they were 'all done' and reiterated that they had replaced all the old gutter nails and screws using screws with neoprene washers. So I paid him in full ($530). As he was walking away he said I would need to check all the seems for leaks (by running water). I was shocked since he was to "check all seams repairing those that leak", but at the time I thought I would let it go and run the water myself. When I was up on a ladder the next day I noticed that some of the old nails and screws had not been replaced with the new Neoprene washer type. When I went all the way around the house I found that there were 33 rafters where they had not replaced an old screw or nail (i.e., 25% of all rafters were not done). That was frustrating but I decided to just take care of it. I bought the proper screws at Home Depot and replaced the rest of the old nails and screws myself. Then when I ran water I found that 10 seams were leaking (at least 5 more than were leaking before David came). I contacted David to schedule a time for him to come and fix the leaks. After his texting two times to reschedule to future dates he did call and come by. He repaired the the new downspout his guys had installed improperly that caused one of the leaks. He then told me he was going to charge me an additional $25 to repair each seam that leaked ($225). I told him I did not believe I should be paying a second time for him to "check all seams, repairing those that leak" ... especially considering that I had already taken care of the screws they missed, I had done the leak checking that he had committed to do, and that there are more leaks now than when he started. He refused to fix the leaks and left. read more
