I inquired about having them stack the wood -- an extra $120. No problem. He asked how far the wood pile is from where they would be dumping it and I told him roughly 20 yards. He inquired if it would be accessible with a wheelbarrow, to which I responded "yes". When he arrived this morning, he pitched a fit, telling my wife that he asked about stairs, and I said there weren't any. (1) There aren't any stairs and (2) he never asked me about stairs! There's a curb between the driveway and the path leading to the wood pile. 1 curb. This sent him into a rage and he told my wife it would be an extra $20. Fine -- they stacked the wood. He told my wife we could get our wood from someone else now. I called Russell to ask why he treated my wife the way he did and he said something yet again about the "stairs". I told him that was unacceptable and then he proceeded to tell me to get my wood from somewhere else and promptly hung up on me. Russell may be the only game in town -- I don't know. I do know that if you don't want this creepy cretinous a-hole insulting you or your family members, you owe it to yourself to call around.
