AMBIENCE & SERVICE
We were glad to see in their Facebook page that they were open. Upon our arrival, we waited for nearly a minute for someone to attend to us outside the entrance, but we ended up going in and heading right back outside because we were still supposed to wait. Only then did someone go outside and tell us to wait for the table to get prepared. This could be smoother next time if someone is readily available to guide us instead of leaving us guessing how long to wait outside, or at least leave a sign on the door. But then again, I'm aware they might have less staff due to the new normal, or staff might be more productive inside rather than out.
Orders were taken verbally instead of the usual order forms with red pencils. Plastic dividers of the middle table we were at made it challenging to communicate with my companion, but tables on our right and left had one less plastic divider. Service was relatively quick; a big plus!
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Green King Ramen was still exceptionally delicious especially with the added parmesan flavor and bits of meat. I have impressions that the noodles might've come from the freezer because of the way some parts were still attached together, but this wasn't a big deal due to adjusted expectations for, again, the new normal. It's more important to me that everything is delicious and this was a success. The surprising bottled guava iced tea was a big letdown though. It was so bland that we didn't get our money's worth with it.
Overall, we're still very happy with our ramen. read more
