We came at the right time since there wasn't a queue. Ordered and paid with the cashier and was lead to the seating area. The service crew then will confirm order and serve you drinks. They don't have service or house tea so we opted for water. Broth was flavorful, noodles al dente, not too soft and not too hard. I enjoyed the experience, highly recommended,

Gyoza was out of this world! We had to order another because one was not enough. I ordered the seafood ramen and for me it was just alright. But, I would definitely go back for the gyoza!

Staff on their phones, it was only 2:00 so why are they on break?

I came here on the recommendation of a good friend of mine. So with my hopes high, I came looking for a good bowl of ramen. let's just say the experience was less then ideal. The ramen it's self was good, but not soooo good that I went wow, for the price of 400 peso I had one piece of meat, and the extra noodles was 85 peso which is overpriced (most places charge 50peso or free refills). I order The Shio ramen, which traditionally is a brown soy sause soup, The soup came out milky and not very authentic, fusion is what comes to mind. the soup is also on the heavy side, leaving a greasy feel on the roof of my mouth, after drinkinf. Taste wasn't bad but the ramen was not flowy and gave you a kinda refrigerated kinda feel. All in all it was an Okey bowl of ramen at best. Now the service well, wtf comes to mind lol, I am amazed the management will let a business run like this. I mean Ive traveled in philippines for a while so I know the meaning of "philippinal time", it's normal to be slow here In this country but this!? This is just plain ass stupid. It took me 20 minutes to get my simple ramen there are 2 chefs, and the staff didn't even pay attention to me when I ask repeatedly for a simple "cup of water" and she was standing right infront of me. There is 9 staff but 6 of them is taking a break all at once in the back when they have a full house. Whats even more amazing is they choose to have an open concept kitchen and restaurants design, so everyone can see their staff all huddled in the back, laughing and having a great time, on their phones lol, epic to say the least. For 485 peso I really don't think the value is there. If your looking for a good bowl of ramen I have better recommendations and alot better service. Thanks but no thanks

The long overdue visit to Mendokoro Ramenba finally happened. Tried the branch in Icon Building and it imbibed the feeling of being transported to Japan from its set-up to its taste. There's a counter upon entry where the order is placed. A number is given upon payment. They follow a system and diners will have to wait for their turn to be seated in long lane of chairs surrounding the kitchen. The menu can be really overwhelming. We tried 4 different options: first is the off-menu but highly popular Super Chasu, then we varied our choices to TanTanMen, Tonkotsu Tsukemen, and Karai Tokusei Tsukemen. We added a plate of 5-piece Gyoza. A Php400 bowl of noodles in this economy is honestly expensive but really, the flavorful soup base justifies the hype. I particularly love the spicy and creamy TanTanMen which also uses Sesame Seeds to achieve its authentic flavor. It's worth the long drive from QC to BGC

This is definitely the best ramen in the city. A third ramen joint by the same team who runs the ever so popular Mendokoro in Salcedo and Yushoken ramen in Alabang. I was so lucky to have been invited to the soft opening of Mendokoro in BGC, before it officially opens to the public on June 1st, 2018. I have to say, I'm very impressed how they are able to keep the consistency equal, despite how busy they get. This is one of the few food businesses in Manila that does not sacrifice quality over quantity. After having tried most of the items on the menu, what keeps me coming back for more is always the Karai Tokusei tsukemen. The rich flavour and balance of savoury and umami is definitely unique to Mendokoro. It's nice that they have kept the bar seating the same as Salcedo as well. It surely gives everyone who dines at Mendokoro that real Japanese ramen bar feel.

First of all if you want to try to eat in this ramen bar expect for a long queue, SUPER!! as it took us one hour or more just to get a sit and order. Their ramen is okay. We ordered shio ramen, which has pork broth and was salty and satisfying. But their gyoza is good and a must try.

Overrated! Long wait to eat here, but the ramen is average at best! I'm not sure why locals like this place.

It doesn't have the international recognition of Ippudo or Santouka or the creativity of Nagi, but the ramen here feels as though someone is treating you for a nice dinner at home. There are only three flavors available of the ramen, the shiro (classic), kuro (garlic), and aka (spicy). I've had both the kuro and aka, and I can say that they are extremely satisfying. Neither the garlic nor the spice was too overpowering. The broth was also extremely well-balanced. Not too fatty but still smooth enough to make you want to slurp the bowl once you've finished. The pork cuts weren't as tender as I've had at other places, but still very well done. The tamago was also well done. Love the runniness! But what puts this place over the edge into 5-star territory is the price. You can get a super filling bowl of ramen here for only 230 pesos! And that's for the larger size! I wager that's basically half of what you'd pay at the more upscale mall places for nearly the same quality. I was also able to try one of their sets featuring a bowl of ramen of your choosing, their gyudon rice don on the side and a bowl of fresh fruits for only 360 pesos. I was stuffed after. So so worth it. The gyoza was also really well made, and a steal for only 100 pesos. The staff here is always super attentive and accommodating, even when we've come in with a larger group, and they do accept all major credit cards, which is a huge plus for me. Definitely worth a try. I don't have to venture out to the more upscale parts of the Metro to enjoy a well-curated bowl of ramen anymore!

I've already had my heart set on my favorite ramen restaurant but my lunch companion wanted to try something new. While hesitant, I figured why not. There's really no harm in trying. It might be good for me. So I ordered their best seller and figured that this does not look bad at all! The first I usually do in any of my ramen dishes is to take a sip of the soup. First sip was good enough, second sip was even better. Hey, this is definitely growing on me. I was also happy to find out that there are bigger and more pieces of meat at Ikkoryu compared to my favorite ramen joint that charges an extra P100 for an additional thin piece of meat. So plus points to Ikkoryu for that! While I still do prefer my favorite ramen joint (which is yet to be revealed), Ikkoryu Fukouka Ramen offers yummy noodle soup that can satisfy a hungry girl's craving for good ramen.

I ordered the original set which was a base and basic toppings and 1 meat. The resto is a little tight but it's designed well and gives you that Japan feel. The staff is also very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Their tea is also a wheaty tea which I enjoy so if you like a wheat tea definitely give their hot tea a try.
