I was probably expecting a lot as I didn't feel like I was very satisfied and happy with the ramen I got. Everyone else seem to like what they got, my kids included. But they did say they had better. Service was good and staff was friendly. Ambiance and decor was also great. Love their Japanese themed decor and the chairs with baskets to hold your personal items and bags or purses. Just don't forget to grab them on your way out.

I would liken this type of restaurant to Chipotle, where you can customize your order. Ramen Nagi is the fast casual version for Ramen. We were greeted with the enthusiastic Irasshaimase by the servers as we stepped inside. The restaurant had Japanese decor all around, with tables, chairs and benches for larger dining groups. Phia helped me customize my order based on my preference, which each one wrote on their own order sheets and later on collected by our server. Our sever delivered drinks and after a short wait, everyone's piping hot ramen. After my first sip of the broth, I could immediately tell these guys have something special going on. The rich broth was meaty, with a creamy texture. It was very tasty! Everyone in my group enjoyed their ramen-- including me as only remnants of the broth remained in my bowl after I was done... yes, we have a ramen convert here. If I had one quibble, it would be that the restaurant temp was on the warm side, which made some of us (not gonna name names Raphael) sweat profusely. However, if it were any cooler, the ramen would cool down pretty quickly. Although Ramen Nagi would be at a different segment and lower price point than Ippudo, I would have to say that I enjoyed my experience in Ramen Nagi QC, Philippines much more than dining at Ippudo in NY. From the food to the relaxed ambience to the company of my beloved family... my Ramen Nagi visit was just awesome. I would go back in a heartbeat-- if I could!

Less than a Php100 ramen? Within the busy streets of Malate, you will find this gem. They have Shio…read more(Php50), Shoyu (Php50), Miso (Php80) and TanTanMen (Php80). To manage your expectations, do not expect high quality ramen. It's a carinderia style eatery and not the cleanest place to be. But, you'll see lots of foreigners and locals eating here! They also have another name for this place: Vest Ramen! Why? Because they are not only the "Best," they are the "Vest"! (LOL!) The broth is pretty good and the meat is tender. For the noodles, you can ask that they undercook the noodles. You can also add and egg! I recommend that you ask for a raw egg. Then, just drop it into the hot noodle soup! Have your ramen with a cold beer, perfection! The pork slice are tasty and tender but is also very tiny. So, add more for an additional Php20. Again, the place is not for neat freaks, you have to be a "cowboy" to eat here. One good point, they are open 24/7! A good, cheap place for your noodle cravings!

I mean, are you kidding me?!? CHEAP RAMEN. Actually, Erra's is a skanky street bar that looks more like a vulcanizing shop than anything else. And the ramen actually comes from a stall just outside Erra's called (I shit you not) "The Vest Ramen in Town". I don't know about it being "The Vest" (Sorry, couldn't resist), but it is very, VERY good. And if you don't believe me, drop by to see the horde of foreigners hanging out there every day. Malate shop owners should seriously get a clue from this. CHEAP RAMEN.

Mentally bookmarked it and came back another day during off hours (3 pm) - the waiting benches outside were empty. The decor inside is impressive - a huge display of ramen spoons crown the central open kitchen where Chashu is being grilled and bowls of soup noodles are assembled. The order is taken at the register at the front before you are seated. Once seated at the bar, a chef and waiter on either side of the bar are there to help you out. I ordered a delicious Tsukemen, whose broth options were different had I ordered a regular bowl of soup ramen. The tsukemen broths appear to be more seafood forward and worth coming back to try them all. I do recommend getting extra chashu no matter what your order is. For just 315 PHP you get 3 extra pieces of smoky goodness, an outstanding piece of meat that I've never seen at any other ramen joint. Definitely a must-come-back to on my next Manila visit

The location in BGC was quite large with the bar like seating winding all around the kitchen area. Hundreds of soup spoons hung above. Ordering process was the same with the menu posted at the front. Three types of ramen (regular, dipping and soupless) plus side dishes like gyoza and extra char siu. Service was fast at the front and kitchen staff regularly shouted greetings in Japanese when getting seated. Food took a little long to be served as I watched one guy prepping, making the ramen and char siu. Seemed like they were a little understaffed that day. I had ordered my favorite tan tan men with a side of char siu. The broth was creamy and mildly spicy. Ramen was thick and chewy. Char siu was thick, juicy and added more flavors to my tan tan men. Their char siu was quite a generous serving of pork for the price. Beats many other ramen places. Gyozas here were also good. Crisp on the outside and good amount of filling inside. They offered two sizes, 3 or 5 pieces. Besides the slow service this chain still remains my favorite here in Philippines.
