It was just okay! Our ramen didn't have much flavor and usually ramen places give you sauces for the broth but unfortunately we didn't.

Got a chance to try this place and it was really good. There was a group of 4 of us and none of us had any complaints. The steak was tender, the broth was tasty. Service wise was great, and the team checked in on us multiple times. There are a lot of good ramen places in Fresno and I'd include this one now. read more

At first I had questioned how good the quality to this ramen shop would've been since it's a more modernized restaurant. Well looks are deceiving! It was just as great if not better than driving to West Fresno for nice bowl of ramen!! I highly recommend the spicy miso broth as it is so delicious and made me want another bowl which I plan on doing later this week! Staff is very respectful, professional, and organized. Me and my boyfriend came here because we were really hungry and craving noodles. We ordered 2 ramen bowls and the fried balls with cheese and corn. We came with the intention of dining in, the cashier even gave us 2 cups to drink and those cups were not plastic to go cups. So me And my boyfriend are sitting down and about 7 ish minutes later this lady gives us our order wrapped to go. We were like wtf and she asked us if we wanted bowls instead. Like what the hell? We wanted to dine in so why was it wrapped? She proceeds to give us 2 bowls and 2 small plates but then looking around the resturant some people had bigger bowls. If we had ramen why were we given the small bowls? The worker didn't even bother pouring our soup and noodles, bad customer service already. And no I don't have a problem doing it myself but if this is their fault why wouldn't they do it for us? Like we already are paying $33 for this food and $33 is a lot to us. May not be a lot to others but a lot to us. ALSO the fact that we had to unwrap everything and take it out. Im pretty courteous and at least stack my plates and dirty napkins when we eat out, but this time we left a mess and left the plastic laying around the table. Not our problem or fault. So since our bowls were small, my bowl overflowed and also putting the noodles in, it splashed and the soup was HOT and it burned me. Also towards the end of the meal I felt something really chewy, took it out my mouth and it was a ball of plastic. Ugh. Never coming here again, please beware of this place. Don't come here. This place is my new favorite restaurant! It's Japanese food and it is amazing! It's got a great menu with a fair amount of items. I had the Yaki Ramen and the Fried Rice. It looks to me like they don't prepare dishes until you order them. That way they are made fresh and hot and can be customized anyway you like them. I really like how they have meat options that have the standard options of chicken, steak, and pork, but they also have options like shrimp, tofu, vegetables, and spam! I hardly ever see spam as a meat option for dishes, so I was very happy to see that. They have a lot of options that come standard on these items, including a very tasty furikake topping, but they will leave off whatever you ask them to. Even though they don't cook it til you order it, it still came out fast, I discovered and went in on a lunch hour and got out on time with no problem. I liked my lunch so much, I went back and ate their again for dinner. I had enough food from both times that I had leftovers for a couple days afterwards. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, especially a very nice person named Jin. Also their Passionfruit lemonade is a very yummy drink to go with your meal. I did not try their ramen soup which I think they are known for, but I am trying it next time I go. Thank you for the great meals, clean restaurant, and great service and I hope you expand sometime so there is one closer to where I live. Where to begin.. well when we first came in it was fine short line order pretty quick.. waited about 30 minutes for the food all I ordered was the crunchy ramen salad.. my bf got a rice bowl.. idk what took so long ‍ anyways we get home.. (all the way across town.. kings canyon) I open the food I have NO DRESSING. Yes. Yummy a bowl of flavorless leaves. And my bf is also missing sauces to his order. My boyfriend and I purchased food from here at 4:00pm to take home yesterday and were violently sick all through the night. When I called to alert them, the girl who answered the phone was apologetic but said that "many people had been calling all day about the food" and that we were not the only ones. They were open all day yesterday despite receiving calls about how sick their customers were getting. The assistant manager called me back and said he would speak to the owners and the chef and get back to us to "make this right", and dodged most of my questions about anyone else getting sick. He said he thought there was "one other customer that had gotten sick but he hadn't called him back yet". He mentioned the cause being an issue with their supplier, yet they are still open today serving the same food that caused many people to be sick. Many elderly people eat here and can be very dangerous for them to get as sick as we did. We are finally able to keep fluids down. As they have not shut down operations to investigate a food-borne illness, I have called Fresno County Public Health Department in hopes they can do something.. read more

Three stars as an average ... the little twit that was working the register was rude and lazy. I told her I was here for a pick up - she asked if I had proof? Okay I guess I get that this was in shady Clovis I told her my na,e as I had left phone in the car and she said no I need proof from your phone and turned away - another waitress walked by and said that is fine, what is your name and she continued taking an order out to someone's table but I told twit what my name was she said she needed to see it on my phone, I started to leave to go get phone but helpful one was on the return to kitchen and looked and saw I was still dealing with twit and she asked me what the order was, walked over to my order sitting on counter- only order waiting - and I started to say what it was and said "oh Kerry." Just awful. I was so upset because the reviews were so good. So when we went to pick up our to-go order they either didn't believe us or have an intensive screening process. Normally if you do a to-go order at other restaurants a simple name will do when picking up. They made us show them a screenshot of our order and it absolutely had to list the name, card number, everything. It was awkward and made us feel like they didn't trust us or something. And before you think that they just wanted to verify the correct order so we weren't given someone else's, there was literally one bag on the counter. Really bad customer service and created an awkward experience for us. When we got home the food was gross. The tofu was oily, soggy and nasty, the egg rolls were soft and squishy, and I requested no mushrooms and there was an over abundance of mushrooms all throughout the food. I tried this place last week. I ordered the customized ramen, it was a bit pricey for a la carte items, and the food was fine, a bit average. What REALLY made this experience (one that was bad enough that I will be not be returning) was the service. My visit was on a Tuesday, about 6 pm, there was no crowds and I was the only client in line. Another gentleman was waiting for his order. I had one single order but waited 35 minutes for food. The staff seemed particularly unorganized, the staff of 4-5 did not prioritize. The manager on duty was scattered and lead his team in the same manner. At one point, he had a friend come in and brought him some outside food, while he was waiting on a client picking up his food. The kicker for me was that, the manager was giving away free cheesecake to clients, but not all clients got this offer. Not sure what the criteria to get the free cheesecake, I honestly did not one, but I found it a bit rude that not all clients were given the same offer. I will not be returning, I will travel to Ichiban in Fresno, even though I live in Clovis, for my ramen. Bad service should not be rewarded. read more
