I love this place, I go for the build your own soup always, but it's the third time I order a fried rice and for some reason they make it different all the time and only the first time I ordered was good. I don't know if they changed the recipe but the rice was not cooked properly and rice grains looked cheap, not like Jasmin rice. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I was recommended by two friends who both say that it was good, but neither of them are ramen connoisseurs. I really did have high hopes. The go to ramen for me was tongkatsu but unfortunately we were told that they were out. To top it off, the cashier rudely told us that since we didn't know what we wanted that we can stand off to the side and figure out what we wanted. I then settled for a Shoyu and Miso ramen. As I observed, it looked good, the display of the bowl was truly how I expected it to be. The chashu and eggs looked like they were cooked that way that they were supposed to be. I dove in right to the noodles first. Not bad. I got the spinach noodles and the regular noodles. But as I was somewhat still stewing over the fact that I didn't get my tongkatsu, my fiancée asked me to try the broth, which is chicken broth for both the miso and Shoyu. She was right it was missing something. That's because the broth was missing that umami that you get after you make actual chicken broth!! Needless to say I was even more disappointed. When it comes to ramen, I'm a super harsh critic as I have had ramen all over Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and San Francisco. Would I come here again, no. Would I recommend it to you, no but if you've never had ramen before, then it would be a good place to be introduced to it. read more

We had this restaurant's food on delivery from DoorDash. Definitely worth it. The shoyu ramen was excellent and was packed cleverly. They use a plastic bowl with an insert plate to go on top so your food doesn't get soggy when being delivered. Genius idea, although a little difficult to life from the bowl. We tried their cheesy corn croquettes appetizer - 6 little balls of potatoes, cheese, Spam (I am a fan) rolled in coating and deep fried. Very tasty. We also tried nikuman with pork belly sandwiched in a steamed bun with cabbage slaw and sesame seeds and a lovely sweet sauce. Four of them was enough to feed 2 people. I ordered the miso tofu ramen. The noodles were the star of the entire ramen meal, most definitely. The noodles were cooked nice and chewy or al dente for the foodies. The broth in the miso ramen was just okay? Maybe if I had gotten the spicy version it would've had more flavor, also the ramen eggs have a strange flavor to them?
