We ate lunch there today. For a fast food store, this is one I will go back to. The Ramen was good, the corn adds a different dimension to the ramen. I suppose a nod to the Fresno State corn. I had the steak ramen which came with a fried egg, also different. My wife had the chicken ramen which had the traditional soy soaked boiled egg. She would rather have had chicken thighs instead of breast, but it was still good. Our food was hot and tasty with many fewer calories than the typical fast food joint. The Asahi beer was cold and exelllent. Another plus for this store. We will go back. read more

Solid for ramen with decent gluten free options. The broth wasn't super rich, but tasted pretty good. Takoyaki was bomb and the edamame was pretty good. We also got the grilled salmon donburi. We had ordered it gluten free but they put wonton strips on it. They were really cool about amending the order and giving us a new order of it when they realized the mistake. The had patio dining. So to start my wife and I are huge ramen lovers . We have tried 5 ramen places here in the Central Valley and we have never been so disappointed. Now with ramen Hayashi a total of 6 serving ramen restaurants in the Central Valley . We decided to give ramen Hayashi a try since the reviews and the hype was good . I was just not convinced nor was my wife . To start off with service . When we get there we don't get greeted as soon as we walk in . The employees treat you as if you've been there before . We had no idea how the place worked . That's ok we should have known it was ran like a " fast food " restaurant. You get there order and you pay at the counter . You get you food brought out to you once your buzzer rings . The seating was we got to choose our own seat . We got our order to start off we didn't get asked if we wanted napkins or chop sticks . I had to go ask in the front counter . I'm sorry but I was disappointed with the ramen both my wife and I got the tonkotsu ramen we have tried many other tonkotsu ramens and in different locations around town . This ramen was not flavorful. It really felt like a fast food ramen place . There was no rich pork broth flavor in the ramen . The meat seemed to be frozen or just standing around and just charred with a blow torch with no flavor . The broth felt artificial and once we got our ramen no one came to check up on us . My wife and i came here for a quick bite didnt want the ramen yet because we were just a lil hungry so we ordered the spam musubi and side salad..just like many people i researched this place and alot of that guy who harrassed someone or whatever kept popping up so we went in being a lil cautious and just so happen that guy was working and is the one that helped us out and i must say he was respectful to us and he didnt give off any bad vibes..it could be because we are guest and dont work with him but we had a great time and the food we had was great ..will definitely be coming back again read more

This place is delicious!!! You might have to wait a bit on the popular nights but I felt like the wait was fast. The staff were working hard and turning those tables. I've been trying to find the best ramen spot since I just moved up here and Lemme tell you, this place is delicious! I ended up ordering a ton of food and the price is so reasonable! Their tonkotsu broth is probably one of the best I've tried! So rich and not too salty. I loved their pan fried gyoza and their deep fried egg rolls! The only reason it was not the full five stars was because the spicy garlic edamame I ordered has a sort of sweet taste and wasn't rly spicy or garlicky but other than that it was amazing! I came on their second day of opening and everything was really good! Ordered the regular Tonkotsu ramen and was quite pleased with it! The broth was good and the pork was flavorful! We had been so excited to try this place as we see they are putting one in by us in the Marketplace shopping center so we thought we'd go try this location prior to opening of the new location. I love that they have the build your own ramen so you can pick and choose everything you want in it and the way they have the menu set up it makes it really easy to order. The staff here each time we've come have been really friendly and helpful! They let you know a possibly est. wait time before you walk up and place your order. I love the loaded fried chicken gyoza, I am so glad we ordered it the first time because now it is a must every time! I also tried the rock shrimp, it looked a bit different than the pictures however it was still good. It can be hard to get a table inside as they have been busy every time we've gone even on weeknights so if you have a bigger party plan to arrive ahead of time to see if you can get a decent spot for everyone. They also have a nice little outdoor area as well which has a decent amount of seating too! Overall we have never been disappointed, I was given the wrong ramen once but I still ate it and it wasn't a problem at all. Just keep in mind if you have not yet been here, you walk up and place your order they then give you a number and you place it on your table and that's how they bring out the orders. read more
