Visited Ramen Factory for lunch on a Saturday. It's located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The restaurant has a few tables and booths. We were seated quickly, and our drink orders were taken. The waitress and other staff were very nice. We ordered the shoyu ramen, spicy shio ramen, and karaage. The ramen both had tonkotsu broth bases, i preferred the spicy shio, over the shoyu, but they both could have used a little more salt. I like wavy ramen noodles more than straight ramen noodles too. The karaage was juicy, tender, and well seasoned. It wasn't my favorite ramen, but i did really like the karaage. read more

Came here with Boo Boo for quick dinner. pretty good ramenin the area. the Ramen comes with a whole egg while many places recently I've noticed charge extra for half an egg. Service was really nice. The waitress refilled our water and hot tea without asking. I got my Ramen with extra noodles for $3..it was worth it as I usually eat a lot. read more

First time trying the new ramen place in Old Tappan. The service was excellent and very accommodating especially we had a toddler. The Kaarage was delicious crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The kids really enjoyed the chicken and pork buns! The ramen was delicious although I prefer the wavy noodles. A whole egg was included most ramen places give you 1/2 and charge you extra for the other half. The pork was tender and broth was tasty. read more

I was craving for a warm bowl ramen and found this new ramen restaurant in Old Tappan NJ. It just opened about 3 months ago in January 2025. The waitress was very friendly and explained to me Shio is seasoned with sea salt and Shoyu is seasoned with soy sauce. I tried the Shio Ramen and it was perfect. The service was quick. I'm giving 4 stars to leave room for improvement. The service is excellent--the staff is very friendly, and the lady refilled my tea several times. The ambiance is also great, with a nice sense of privacy. The food is delicious, but I would love for the ramen to have a bit more vegetables on top to balance out the protein and carbs for a healthier touch. This place is a gem! I had the Shio Ramen, and my Lebanese bestie went for the Veggie Ramen. We shared karaage (Japanese fried chicken) made with dark meat--because that's where it's at. I had to get a pork bun as well. Had to, and I'm glad I did. The Shio Ramen had a depth of savory flavors I know will summon me back for more. As for the Veggie Ramen, the verdict was two thumbs up for being flavorful and well-balanced all around. The ramen noodles were also perfectly cooked. The food was pretty good, came out quickly and service was friendly. The restaurant is relatively small but well lit and the tables are spaced out decently so you don't feel like you're shoulder to shoulder with the next table. I will be back to try other dishes outside of just ramen. read more

Decor was nice. Ramen was medicocre. The tonkotsu ramen was somewhat thin almost too light. Noodles were good, texture and flavor wise. Char Siew was more like Bosam (Korean Style pork belly) and has a gelatinous skin, somewhat incongruous. The kara-age was very bland. Not juicy enough and flavorless inside. Batter was too thick and hard. Will keep trying, I am sure they will get better, there is a dearth of ramen joints here considering the large Asian population! Dun wanna go all the way to Fort Lee!
