"Uncle Chao" and Joanne are class acts. We've been using their services for the past 5 years and…read morerecommend them every chance we get. We did a multi generational shoot this past Saturday and the patience Chao exhibited was that of a saint. His energy levels put a toddler's to shame and he will not give up until he has found a way to capture the image he is seeking perfectly. We were a tough group- a grandma with a tin meniscus and broken elbow, a grandpa with mild cognitive impairment, a surly teen who did not want to be at a studio, and a crazy toddler who didn't want to sit still. Plus my husband and me ( who pestered him incessantly about wanting to not look so fat lol) . Chao still managed to get 98 spectacular shots that I had emailed to me by 7 pm the following day. Unreal. Sometimes I think there is a ridiculous misconception that this is an "Asian" wedding studio. Sure, the owners are Taiwanese BUT perfect English is spoken AND they have shot events at every amazing venue for every ethnicity all over the tri state area- check out the stunning photos on their website! Gorgeous. And I won't even begin to tell you how reasonable the pricing is. It has to be heard to be believed. We've used other studios in the past who have charged three times as much for a fraction of the photos. And the photographers have not been anywhere near as accommodating. I'd give them TEN stars if I could!

All of which The Candi Project met, much to our joy!!! Chris and Aenid are AMAZING to work with. They met with us about a week after I had reached out to them, and communicated with us to get all the info before our big day (which was only a few weeks away at that point!). The day of the wedding, they went to my now husband's place first to capture him getting ready and were infinitely patient when he was very late in coming back home from picking up his best man! They then came to my place to capture me getting ready with my ladies, then rushed to the church to set up their cameras for the ceremony. It was AWESOME having the dual team and THREE different camera angles at our ceremony. And they were with us at the reception until like an hour before the party ended - which was almost 12 hours!!! They were also ridiculously fast with the editing - our wedding was on 10/5 and they sent us the link to our highlights video YESTERDAY - only 3 weeks!! I can't stop watching our video. Everyone has cried watching it. I would not hesitate in recommending The Candi Project for any of your video/photo needs.
