I called all the businesses within a 30 minute drive from the venue to find the cords I needed and thought I was out of luck until I was referred to Peter at Long Island Video Enterprises Live. Peter had compassion for my situation and generously met me at his office to allow me to borrow the cords I needed AND gave me a ride back to my gig. Peter was the embodiment of generosity and is the reason that the bridal shower I played that day was a success. I am so grateful and highly recommend LI Video Enterprises Live because of the trustworthiness, warmth, and compassion I was shown. Thanks again, Peter! :)

I knew bout Long Island Video through a friend and contacted them for help. My contact, Lori DiGiacomo, was a total pro: Experienced, responsive, calming, totally solution-oriented. Her set up team did a terrific job and the lights were AWESOME! The sponsors as well as some of the guests remarked how exciting the set up was in creating a total sense of theatre and, of course, I was lit beautifully! I will definitely look to Long Island Video for their smart solutions and high caliber of service the next time I book a show and have video, lighting or production needs! They are the best!

I have used Play twice and this second time things did not go as good…read more I chose Play-It Productions because they are located in Manhattan so I could walk in and out avoiding paying for shipping fees. The quote I received said "shipping charges not included" so my assumption was since I am dropping my masters and picking them up there will be none. They added a shipping fee because their duplication house is located in Long Island and the CD needed to driven back to their main office in the city. Their quote said nothing about that. I did complaint and told them that it was misleading, they said were sorry but still charged me. Although I am happy with the quality of my CD Prints I wont work with Play It Productions again. Next time will use Disc Makers in Jersey, they will charge shipping but I know why.

Let me say point blank: as a recording artist with decades experience of releasing my own product…read more(and numerous nightmares along the way), I have never come across a better manufacturing provider than PLAY IT. Tony the main sales person and production manager was a total blast to work with. He himself is a musician and totally understands things from the artist's perspective while at the same time being totally on top of things technically and logistically. I had a very tight window of production for my CD release concert, and he turned my order around in just over A WEEK. No hidden surprise fees, bureaucracy or quality control issues. Just fantastic, courteous service and they can do small runs as little as 100 for a very competitive price. I went with the 5 inch mini-jacket, full color and basic black text impression on the disc (I went with white rather than silver for better legibility). That and shrink wrapped for 2.25 per CD. I mean, that's a fantastic price! Although I didn't need them, they do have a graphics dept. and also offer mastering. All you have to do is get them the art work and CD text to their template specs and along with your CD master, you're ready to get in the production line. For people looking for a great alternative to Discmakers and many smaller houses with less of a track record (no pun intended!), the personalized service I got at PLAY IT really rocked. I totally recommend them for any artist who wants a great job done with no smoke and mirrors and able to meet very tight turnaround times. Bravo, Tony!

Frankie is wonderful to collaborate with--he really listens to your requirements, pays close attention to detail, and always tries his best to bring your vision to life. The finished mixes came out professionally with very high standards, and I've received many compliments on the quality. Although Frankie takes his time with the mixing process, the end result is definitely worth the wait. If he can improve on efficiency while keeping the same high quality, it would make the experience even better. Overall, I highly recommend Mixhead Studio and Frankie for anyone who wants professional-level production and a thoughtful, dedicated engineer.

I was doing some top-secret Covid Compliance Officer work for a television production and they were…read moreutilizing the spaces over at Gum Studios in Sunset Park Brooklyn. Though there were a couple of staff people onsite, the best way to view this is like a rehearsal space for the bands where you have the control of the space you are renting. The layout of where we were was nicely setup. There were a number of small cubicles where I was told sometimes people rent to use as a remote office but since this was a television production, we just needed the large room and the couple of smaller ones for staff, talent and crew. It was very clean and the staff I met very helpful and friendly. As the Covid officer my task was monitoring how everyone was behaving in these pandemic times. Are you wearing a mask, do you have a temperature, do you have proof of vaccination etc. While it sounds tedious this is work that is aimed at keeping you safe and sound. The studio seemed to provide numerous folding chairs and some tables and there is an open WiFi signal for those doing work there which made it easier to keep in touch with the managers. As someone who doesn't need to rent such a space for a production I cannot speak to pricing but there were about 30 in total and everyone had room. There are a number of bathrooms and one larger one that even has a shower if you are one who ends up pulling an all-nighter. They even have a fully functional kitchen but the supplies are all on the person renting the space. I think this is a proper location for Broadway and film rehearsals or podcasting or setting up a smaller video production. I hope to work there again. Nice going Gum Studios. Thanks for the branded swag as well (hand sanitizer, pen and pencil, charger and some buttons). I'm a fan,
