Amazing experience. They came in with the cheapest quote (by nearly half the price of other…read morecompanies) to move my 1-bedroom apartment to my new home. The team arrived on time, worked quickly and carefully with my possessions. When it came time to pay, I was told the total was $360 and handed over the cash. Ten minutes later, the gentleman returned to my house and informed me that they had accidentally charged me for an additional hour and returned the overcharged amount. AMAZING character. I cannot recommend these guys enough. If you're considering them, do it! You will not be disappointed.

We did a video call so they can give an estimate, we never received an estimate. The movers came to pack move and unpack. They didn't know they were supposed to be packing/unpacking. I had to call and confirm instead of them. They left my front door wide open and never turned the gate back on so if I hadn't gone back for cleaning supplies my door would've been left open over night. When I told the only guy who spoke English he said "I wasn't the last one out" no apologies just a lazy answer. They never unpacked properly. I started unpacking the kitchen, so they had an idea of where things went. They didn't try, they just unpacked random stuff and threw it in places. Appliances were disassembled which could have easily been put together. My cake stand was in two thrown on the counter top with a box over the glass in an unsafe manner. They said they were scheduled to come back tomorrow and when I called to complain about how the place left they said the job was done and I should've said something before they left. I told them they should leave instead of waiting for me to return after picking up my daughter they told me had to pay. Which understood I'll pay for the day, but the packing job was not done. These are scammers. It's been a long time since I dealt with a business like this but this one beware.

This company is the absolute worst company (not just movers) that I have ever seen. My elderly and…read moreill parents had to move from their home of 45 years in Wyoming down to Texas with my sister and brother-in-law to be closer to family. My Dad is a well-known distinguished West Point graduate who served in Vietnam and has always lived by the motto "duty, honor, country". Seeing a company who supposedly employed fellow patriots was appealing. This company promised to take care of all my parents cherished belongings with respect. The night before the move date, the driver was arrested for a hit and run. Should have been a major clue. The company said that they would dispatch another crew, but it would be be 17 hours as they were coming up from Texas. Day 2 and nothing, no updates, no anything. Day 3 and several voice mails later, crickets. So my parents were supposed to be in a hotel and leave on Day 4. Now they are left scrambling for a reputable company (lesson learned), and they are now having to pack themselves up. This sham of a company kept thousands as a down payment for services not rendered and no communication. On Day 4, I decided to get involved and threatened legal action since they stole my parents money. Someone finally called my sister to cancel the order and refund the money. I shutter to think who else they have stolen from that didn't want the hassle. No reason, no explanation, no morals, and no shame. How could they just take money from trusting people and not respond to any update requests? Do NOT use this company, EVER. There is a reason they are not a BBB company. They will sell you the world and leave you high and dry. I will be sharing this experience with all my friends, my father will share this horrendous incident with all of his classmate. Their actions are absolutely despicable, unprofessional, and borderline illegal. My family's pain and suffering is worth more than just the returning the deposit and an empty apology. They should be out business.

I've been going to this place for exactly one year and boy it has been an amazing place to be in! I…read moredid have reallllly epic pictures and reviews before but Yelp had deleted the previous page (the business owner consolidated the pages for all Elite branches and deactivated them so the owner can manage them 'officially'), and I have to start from scratch. Let me just say this is my background: -- I learned Muay Thai when I was in middle school but it only lasted 3 months since it was only a summer thing my parents wanted my siblings and I to do. -- In college, I took a cardio kickboxing class for 1 semester and I thought it was pretty nice but not a lot of self-defence (none at all actually!). It was taught by a really exuberant and energetic trainer and she (I believe to this day) still teaches cheerleading. Yes. My fitness instructor in college was a cheerleader coach as well!!! -- Lastly, I played college sports, so I had my coach along with my fitness trainer. They taught us how to train well and eat well. However, no self-defense discipline. Now, to the review: I ran across Elite MMA by accident since I was interested in doing martial arts again but I really needed the motivation to go to the mats. My type of work does not allow a lot of flexibility and it involves working at night, therefore, I'm usually tired by the time I get on, or lacked a lot of sleep, or I'm pretty much starving since my sleep/meal schedule is always changing. I am very good at reading people well (it's part of my occupation) and I must say I have never met such a personable Coaches like Robert and Julian. 1) They are very passionate about their students and their wellbeing --- if I ever had kids of my own in the future, I would feel comfortable having these guys train them on how to roll. I also watch Robert with his own kid, and I must say he loves him to death --- note to parents: if a man cannot manage his household in a loving way, how can you expect him to care for yours? 2) They are very active in BJJ and encourages ALL of us to continue training all year long. Robert and Julian also compete so they continuously learn new things and teach us new moves. This leads to the next topic: 3) The Coaches train us to roll SAFELY! This is very important to me since I am familiar of other gyms/fitness centres that do not care about your personal well-being, (and dare I say it!?), just want your money! If I can tell that they're pressuring me to join them, I'll just refuse their offer since my health is more important than being out of the job. 4) Accountability. When you're missing for more than 1 week, they send you an email to see how you're doing. If Robert has your mobile number, he'll make sure to check that you're ok. If I'm having difficulty going to class because of work or I'm ill, all I need to do is let them know and it will put Robert and Julian at ease :-D 5) They have monthly events going on all the time. There are competitions and belt promotions going on. Families enjoy it and are having a blast. You should check out their "Lock-ins!" There are pizza, movies, and fun games for the kids! 6) Lastly, I can't thank Robert and Julian and the rest of the guys and gals for their friendships. They promote healthy relationships in this branch of Elite (I am not sure how the other branches are like). Going to a BJJ gym like Elite is worth it if you can always look forward to meeting your classmates there. Bonus: They also have cardio kick boxing! I have not done that myself (I would but it's just overkill for me on top of what I have on my plate!) Overall, check them out and have fun! Coach Robert and Julian, (and pretty much all the guys/gals/teens) will make you feel at home. I have never regretted ever joining them and I will sorely miss them. I learned to be disciplined and to be able to take care of myself in all situations :-D
