Their pricing was very fair and when the crew arrived to do the work they were friendly, polite and capable. The work was done well and they left the work areas neat and clean, no mess or debris left behind. Weeks later a heavy rain revealed some leakage behind a couple electrical receptacles I had thought were too much trouble to remove and hoped we could get away with not sealing the cracks behind them. When I called them back they were on it immediately and scheduled a follow-up visit to address the leaks. I was able to remove the electrical boxes to give them access and found another 4 feet of cracks besides. They arrived right on time, repaired both the hidden and the newfound cracks and did it all at no charge, even though it was no fault of theirs. I am truly impressed with the quality of their people and their work. I could not recommend High and Dry any more highly.

We selected Permajack of St. Louis both because we decided that their solution and methods seemed preferable and because their bid was reasonable ... not the lowest but not outlandish. Everything about dealing with them was professional. Calls were returned promptly. Questions answered quickly. The project was completed as promised and on time. The crew was respectful of our home and property and did everything they could to mitigate the noise and inconvenience. They even went so far as to hook up the washer and dryer when they were done, without being asked, after we expressed some concern about being able to use them while the cement cured. When the crew left, the work area was spotless and the whole process had been much less painful than we expected. I would absolutely recommend Permajack of St. Louis.

Their teams did an excellent job not only on my basement, but you couldn't even tell that they had to dig large holes in my front yard to anchor my foundation wall. The pump quit working; they said a lot of customers had that issue. They installed a new one w/out incident; +1 star for that. This spring, I decided to waterproof the remaining 2 walls. Before I could do that, the tile started leaking & the downspout they installed did too (see video). In sum, in the 4.5 years since this was installed: the pump had to be replaced; the drain tile is malfunctioning and letting in leaks; and the downspout came apart, allowing everything the pump ejects to sink back down into my basement. I emailed the contractor a specific question: when can someone come out to address these problems, regardless of whether or not I hired them to do the rest of the basement? Weeks passed and I got no definite answer. They were immediate in their response for a bid request; but inconsistent in responses to warranty issues. Was I able to go to Lowe's, buy a caulking gun and silicone, watch some Youtube videos, and eventually complete the repair myself? Yes. Should I have had to when my warranty covered the issue? I don't believe so. In the end, I chose to hire another (more expensive) company to do the rest of my waterproofing because I wanted a BBB-accredited company that would communicate reliably & follow through when needed.

Perhaps I did not understand the scope of their service but I certainly expected cracked pieces to be pushed together. All that happened was that one piece of concrete was better aligned with its neighboring piece. I did voice complaints with them but they felt that that was the best they could do. We have had FRS completely 2 major projects for us this past year and have been happy with both…read moreprojects. While nothing about French drains or foundation repair is fun, exciting or cheap; we knew we had to get some of this work done to our home due to some minor flooding/cracks in the foundation. After doing some research and asking for bids, we decided to work with FRS since we knew they would do a thorough job and offer a nice warranty for their work. Not to mention how everyone we worked with was super helpful and friendly and they explained lots of things to us in ways that we could understand. When you are going to spend $$$ on something as massive as a french drain and foundation repair, you really want to make sure you have some of the best people to work with and FRS was it for us. Earlier this week, we had Dylan and Sam out at the house so they could work on the side to help us with drainage and repairing the foundation. I really have no idea how this is done, but they managed to do it in just under 3 days and took great care of the yard and our neighbors yard while they were working so they did not make a mess or damage anything. Knowing that these giant house repairs have been completed, I know that our house will be taken care of we won't be experiencing any more damage. I know they will come out again in the future to just check in to make sure everything is still working correctly and I feel secure knowing they will take care of anything thanks to the warranty they offer on their work.

We called Foundation Recovery and luckily were put in contact with Michael Drebes who took care of us with a complete waterproof System. We had Ricky and crew working on the system install and they did a fantastic job of getting it done. I hired Waterproof Solutions in January 2022 to install an interior drain and sump on two walls…read more($5,000, lifetime warranty on treated walls). In June 2025, after an extremely wet spring in St. Louis, water entered through a wall they treated. The sump pit has been bone dry and the pump has never run since installation. I requested a refund, per the terms of the contract. On June 11, their representative said the company had changed ownership and would not honor the prior warranty. As of today, the issue remains unresolved. I will update this review if the company provides a fair resolution.

I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but we had this company put in an egress window and had…read moreseveral issues where we would not recommend anyone using them. After the window was in, we had lots of water leaking into the window well and they have refused to fix it, stating it is normal. Our question is, "if this was your home and water was leaking into your window, wouldn't you want the company to fix it?" Every time it rains, water pours into the side of the window well- this should not be happening with a brand new window well install. They also hit a corrugated pipe underground and we had to pay $750 for another company to come fix it to redirect the water. So many times they were supposed to come finish something and we just didn't hear from them- communication was very poor. They came and took a screen (on June 27) that was punctured during install (window was installed starting May 22- almost a month later) and said they would be back later that day to return it and it was not until July 6 (9 days later) when it was returned with no communication between. When they were at our home, they tracked dirt and mud all over our stairs and floors and was not cleaned up. Just so many things- I do not trust this company and would hate for anyone else to have the same experience we did.

The utility room floor is still untouched, and getting worse. We've been trying to get them to fix everything and they are refusing. They even tried to deny working on the house at first because we paid cash. This has been going on for over a year now. We have the IL Attorney General involved, but Woods still has yet to rectify anything. We are expecting Woods to do the right thing especially with such a big motto to live up to and apparently with all this money they have to spend on paying people for good ratings; how about just do the right thing and earn the good rating like a good company does.
