This Ralph's has been going down the drain. Basically this whole shopping center is dropping the ball. They removed most of the cashiers and replaced them with self checkout machines. They are taking away human interaction. There are way less workers and the customer service that was one there is whatever now. I have been to the studio city Ralph's and it is a big difference. The Cashiers still exist and they are friendlier. The place is cleaner too. It is like walking into a different store. read more

Worst Experience ever last night. I am a regular shopper there. The staff knows who I am and they know that I am always respectful and courteous to them. Well I did not receive the same treatment in return last night. I had to go in an emergency run to ralphs for some over the counter relief meds for my wife that started feeling very ill. I had no car and I had no choice but to take a lyft. I arrive at 1258 at the FRONT DOOR only to see that they are closed. I begged to the security officer to let me in due to my situation and all she says is Walgreens is 4 miles away. I explain that I don't have a car and that this is an emergency. She did not care and closed the door. I pleaded to ask with the manager about my situation and he arrived and was literally useless speaking to him. I was not going for bread and cheese. I was going for medication for my wife. I cant help but just feel very angry towards the staff for treating me this way. It is very sad that we live in a world where "sorry we're closed" is more important than someones well being. I would've been in and out in 3 minutes maximum. They weren't oblivious to the situation. I pleaded for 15 minutes to please let me in due to my situation. I leave this review here to forever remind this store about the time they cared more about closing early than someones well being. You can say well he got aggressive quickly. Anyone would become aggressive in this situation that I hope you never have to go through. read more

There's this old lady that is always with horrible adittue around 10am on sunday's in the self checkout place. Every other Ralphs does not have this issue and other employees are great but this lady needs to be more patient with costumers she is there to help not get mad at them, Im writing this because it's not the first time it's around the third, maybe she should work somewhere where costumer service is not required. read more

This is a sad Ralph's, the people who work here are nice, but there are gates on sections of the store, like jail. Instead of hiring more people to work here they do this? No thank you I'll shop somewhere else that's more inviting. read more

Wow wow wow. I was having an extremely crappy couple days and I decided to go pay my mom a visit at her work site. I decided to stop at Ralph's and get her favorite cookies and unfortunately I didn't see it while walking into the bakery department. I reached out to the store manager Martel and he literally stopped what he was doing walk with me to the back literally tore down the store to find it rather than just say "I don't see it we're out" honestly it made my day because the nearest Ralph's is pretty far from here and I just really appreciate his customer service I can see why he's the store manager this guy brought so much positivity to my day and I know it sounds so crazy that something so little has done that but nowadays the littlest things give me the biggest satisfaction I appreciate you man. 5+ stars for sure. read more

I debated whether to write a review or just let it go but after reading several reviews, decided to write it. I have thought that there were a ton of unhappy employees because they aren't very friendly. They are okay when asked a question and some have been very helpful on occasion. My issue is with a cashier named Virginia, that speaks some language other than English. She was having a very friendly, animated, conversation and a woman before me. The woman even stood in front of the payment pad while my groceries were being checked. Normally not a big deal but the woman didn't move until most of my groceries were done. Virginia did not encourage her to move. Virginia was not friendly to me but civil, but when when I was trying to complete my transaction, she began speaking very friendly to the woman behind me in that language. Perhaps Virginia has issue with people that don't speak whatever language she speaks. I expect friendly courteous behaviour. With all the shopping options these days Ralph's needs to focus a little more on courtesy. Ralph's closed the market in my nieghborhood awhile ago to make it a Food for Less. I don't shop there. I will drive to a friendlier market. read more

Let's start with karla the manager... She can't peel herself away from a personal phone call to help me find an item. Then when I ask good no good-for-nothing security guard Janel What the managers name was, She hesitated like a deer in lights. That's not the kind of service that I'm used to when I go to Ralph's take that young ass text messaging manager away. read more

Horrible customer service. Come here because it's closer to my house than Burbank but they never have carts stocked and formula for babies try getting gentlease. Today I asked for a Ralph's card application for the 5th time in 2 months because I lost mine and I wanted to use it on gas and they have none again I told them I need one because I shop a lot and I use it for gas and they said to punch in my number at a shell station. That does not work. I feel it's this way because it's mostly Latinos who shop here not like Burbank where it's mostly white middle class customers. read more

This Ralph's is truly packed with a lot of very good items very Discounting couponing unfortunate the bathroom was not operational at the time I was shopping there read more

Great Customer Service, they helped me find what I needed and didn't rush me. Really nice workers and they are really helpful. Bathrooms really clean I recommend this place to anyone. read more

I really dont like shopping at this Ralph's. It just seems "dirty" and even though there are a few employees who are nice, it just doesn't seem like it is a location that corporate Ralph's really cares about. I really am disappointed at times, with the quality of their veggies and fruit. I only shop here "once in a blue moon" because I have to....mainly because I need something AND because Id rather come here then to Food4Less.....which is YUCK! Actually shopping in the San Fernando Valley (Arleta, Sun Valley, Pacoima) is like shopping at a Swap Meet 24/7. AND you better know Spanish.....luckily I do, but I feel bad for the people who dont who reside around here who have to shop at these stores. Its like the New Orleans of California. read more

Christina was great. I can count on Ralphs for quality service. She helped me bag and then i gave a homeless a beer on sale after. It was a nice trip. read more

My aunt was racially profiled in this place. She has been going to this store for years. She was accused of stealing a loaf of bread that she purchased at another store in the area. Other staff members were watching and they didn't come to assist her. She does not speak English well and no one got a translator. It is a shame that your neighborhood market does this to you especially when you are a regular customer. read more

I'm surrounded by an abundance of Hispanic grocery stores. When I'm looking for the right item I know I can count on my local Ralph's to come through! It's gotten better, (I think, due to the remodel) where they carry a bit more variety. I usually stop by in the noon on weekdays, there isn't much of a wait, so I can go in and out. I think there are significantly better Ralph's than this one but we have to keep in mind the demographics of the store. read more

I love the deal section in the back of the store always check it it's back by the bathrooms some of the best deals are here. Sometimes it's hard to find things because they move their stock around regularly. The customer service and deli counter is amazing. read more

Go into the Ralphs on the corner of Vineland and Ventura, or even Coldwater and Magnolia and you'll see why the low stars. This one pales in comparison, yet has the same ridiculously high prices. No fresh seafood section, no real butcher department, no salad bar, limited selection of products. And, don't be fooled by the sales. Example- an item that usually costs .59 now has a sale tag that says 10 for $6 (originally .99). BS! It's now .60, what kind of sale is that? Staff is not the greatest...some are ok, others are rude and act like you're bothering them. The only reason to come here is because they carry liquor, Fresh and Easy does not. Wish they did so I would not have to come here. That's all. read more

PRODUCE NOT FRESH!!! In my experience, berries mold within 24 hours of purchase. Even though i bring groceries directly home and berries go into fridge immediately upon arrival, they spoil within one day. Makes me question quality of other purchases. Does not happen with produce purchased elsewhere. One star for friendly clerks, helpful baggers, and convenient location. read more

The service at this ralph has become disappointing. I have been going here for 25 years but now it just has become unbearable. I went to ask for a rain check and i was just getting tossed around by employee to employee and none were willing to help me. When they found out that i do not speak spanish they carried a conversation fully in spanish and were just giggling, laughing and ignoring me. And when i go to the deli, there are flies everywhere and when i told the lady behind the counter about them she just brushed them off and told me it's okay. This is unexpected and unsanitary. This has forced me to go to others ralph's that are 5 miles away for better and cleaner service along with better quality of service. read more

First off all their produce is rotting. Their Selection is very limited. It seems like other Ralph's have more selection. Another ring is that they don't have their own butcher. They get their meet pre-packed. When I asked what is the difference between these pre packed one and the ones that are from the butchers with the meat counters they responded " we don't tipaclly stock that here". WHAT?! Had nothing to do with my question. We have given this Ralph's more then enough chances but they haven't done anything to try and change. I will now driving further to go to another grocery store. Rather get fresh food then rotten read more

I have been a loyal customer for years and during this years I have seen workers come and go. There are only few loyal Ralph's workers that still remain working. I will say I appreciate Kent, Wendy, Jerry and Mellissa for providing me with the upmost excellent customers service every time I would shop at Ralph's. It has been as of late that when I shop at Ralph's I been receiving the worst customer service. Now that the store has a new manager (Excella) I have been experiencing bad customer service from her. She closes down the check stands and only opens the self check out. It is a huge inconvenience going to self check out when I have my shopping cart full of groceries. When I want to pay cash Excella puts my money on a gift card and then uses that same gift card to pay for my groceries. I've never seen this been done in past by any worker. Is this something new? She is very rude when I ask for help. The other day I wanted to ask her if by any chance someone turned in some car keys. Excella turns her back on me and says "I'm off the clock" and continues to walk away. The blond security guard was the only one that was kind enough to assist me and she is not even a Ralph's worker. That is the worst customer service. I hope Ralph's managment is reading this and trains Excella on how to provide good customer service. I shop at this store, my money goes to this store and that means at the end of the day I am also paying for good customer service. read more

I grew up going here and I'm glad to see it still here. I come here when I visit my family. It has gotten better every year! I was just there yesterday and I was greeted three time by one employee. I think he loves his job. He even helped bag while waiting to purchase his lunch. ***Sad to see the family owned Chinese place next door turned into a panda express. read more

I was very impressed with the customer service at this Ralph's location. I called very early this morning looking for a specific product (a coffee creamer that I am addicted to that has been discontinued), and I spoke with a gentleman named Victor who not only took the time to look for the product for me, but he also held the last four bottles of the creamer for me until I could get down there. (I called close to 20 Ralph's locations looking for this particular product.) I drove an hour to pick up the creamers, and when we arrived in the store, we spoke with the store manager, a gentleman named Martel. Even though the store was busy, he took the time to have Victor bring up the creamers. I also noticed the way he interacted with the customers--he was very friendly with everyone he spoke with, and the customers all seemed to know him and he seemed to know them as well. Both Victor and Martel provided excellent customer service, and I would drive out of my way again to give this store business! read more

I try and go to this ralphs rather than the one around the block from me (sherman way/woodman) aka "ghetto ralphs". this is a breath of fresh air compared and has alot more room less people and less of the undesirable kind of people. you can actually breathe and think here and the cashiera are nice. the produce is much better than the other ralphs. worth the extra time in driving! read more

This lady broke all my flowers so don't go here! It's really bad and sometime they have trash in the floor

I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN! Horrible customer service. Long long lines at any hour. The customer bags their own groceries, like at Food 4 Less. Price tags do not match the price scanned, and they won't take care of the customer for the stores mistake. Very dirty location. I have lived in Sun Valley my whole life and I have watched this store decline. But the worst part is their customer service. The staff treats the customers like they are doing us a favor by helping us, thats their freaking job not a favor. The manager bumped into me and didnt say a word but rolled his eyes as he continued his cell phone conversation, he looked at me like I was the problem. I recommend going down the street to Food 4 Less. If you don't believe me check out the failing Ralphs for yourself, but I warned you. read more

Ralphs - Grocery Near Me - Sun Valley, California

Shout out to the Ralphs grocery delivery. I ordered about 28 items but two items we're not available which was fine by me. The delivery charge of $9.95 plus tip was well worth it. Yoselin who helped pick my grocery was very nice and responsive. I didn't have to leave my house and stand in line especially now where Coronavirus can be anywhere. I would definitely order my grocery delivered again. Very help and especially quick. read more

I would give this ralphs no stars if I had that option! Since I live close to this ralphs sometimes it's convenient to buy things like juice or water on the way home. This grocery market is not very clean and produce aren't always fresh. I'm not sure how I really feel about this place! There's always creepy ppl around esp at night avoid this ralphs at all costs! Always long lines because they have 2 cashiers who are open and working and maybe one other employee running around the store who has no idea what isle things are in. I don't mean disrespect but I'm a very honest person, sometimes too honest. Parking is never a hassle there's always parking. Just be aware going to this ralphs and expect everything from it especially when it gets dark and it's late out. read more

Cashier talks a lot. Instead of taking care of next customer but keep talking and tell next customer to go to different cashier.

Corporate Ralph's you've got a keeper her with Cecelia. She found my iPhone at the register, remembered me and then found me in the parking lot!!! I am so thankful, as I am in the midst of a very critical and difficult animal rescue, haven't hardly slept in a week as we have to work at night and just stopped in for some supplies. The whole chronicle of this rescue was on my phone and it would have been lost. Thanks Cecelia for safeguarding the these little creatures' story and being such a customer service focussed employee!! read more

This is my neighborhood Ralph's. I always come here at any time. I love all the cashiers. On my birthday they all wrote on a Ralph's balloon for me. Not that, that matters at a Ralphs but you get the concept, they don't look like moldy potatoes at the registers. I love coming here. The place is always clean. Lots and lots of parking. S=The staff is always more that happy to lead me to what I'm looking for and suggest me to other products when it's not there. read more

I grow up right around the corner from this store. Some of the staff are like second family. They always greet my mom and me by name with a big smile! Lucy and Rosa have been there a really long time and seem to remember me personally. This store might not be as fancy as other stores but it does offer what most customers need.
