I have never been to this location and I'm so glad I chose to try a new location out! I went in a few days after they opened and the store was looking great. The inside of this store is AWESOME! It's big, cozy, clean, and the staff were very respectful. I was greeted warmly and they made sure to make my order to perfection. They have tons of flavors and everything was delicious. Definitely check this location out PS- get some music on in there ! It was a tad quiet but that make be due to just opening read more

1 star. They wouldn't serve me water even when I waited online and asked politely. Yes maybe my friends were being obnoxious but I wasn't. I was asking them very politely to buy a water, and they still wouldn't let me buy one. I asked every individual worker in their and all of them said "they weren't on shift". So after that i went on line a waited behind costumers until it was my turn and they still deny me. Anyways i love ralph's so i hope the few workers who were not sharing good customer service are better next time. read more

From what I've heard this is the first location that opened in 1949 and is a Staten Island classic. I got a Cherry Cola ice, and it was pretty good. I'd probably pick a different flavor next time, but it was refreshing. FYI, they're cash only. read more

Drunk cops were allowed to cut the line and were allowed to cut my pregnant wife, so that sucked. Very large selection very good product kind and friendly workers well worth the trip great Italian Ice. My favorite place to go for dessert. Been going since I was a kid living in staten Island. The ices are still just as good. So much better than Rita's and strollo. Attendants are always friendly and helpful. Always a wonderful variety of flavors. My favorite is spumoni. Very good water ice and cream ice. We each enjoyed our choices. Even the sugar free ice was good. Refreshing on a hot summers day. Will go back for sure! The ONE reason I can't rate it 5 stars is because a bunch of NYPD officers cut us in line while it was raining out. When we started asking them just what the hell they thought they were doing, they were clearly drunk but pretended that they didn't see us and apologized. ...and still didn't move. My wife was pregnant at the time, so I really was stunned that a group of police officers felt it necessary to flex power like that over...ice cream? Anyways, I mentioned it to the store manager but they said basically they are longtime customers and didn't really have an answer. I will never forgive those cops for purposely cutting the line while drunks from Denino's while my wife was pregnant in the rain. read more

We had to stop by Ralphs Italian Ices. My girl recommended this place, Since she was born and raised out here in New York. I am just a dumb California boy lol. Anyways, we came here on our last day for some Ice cream. Beautiful looking Ol Skool family type of restaurant . I got me a Vanilla Mint type of ice cream smoothie like cookies and cream. She had another flavor she liked. We had fun. Nice people, and great Ice cream. I am a happy camper, read more

The original and the best....hands down....no debate. This location in Port Richmond is the original.....store number 1 and it has the freshest ices.....no stale Spumoni is ever served here! The sheer volume of customers on a hot summer night can be overwhelming but it's worth the wait. The ices, ice cream, shakes etc are all delicious. There is nothing better than Ralph's after devouring a few pies at Denino's. If in the area, go to Denino's for Staten Islands best pizza then hit Ralph's for the best ices. read more

What can you say about Ralph's, a SI institution for so many years. Stopped by the other day with the family for a evening treat. Super friendly staff and the place is very clean!!! The Peanut Butter & Jelly Creme Ices here are one of the greatest frozen desserts ever created. Ever. I used to go to Ralph's back in the day when there was only like one in some random place in Long Island that I forget and one in Forest Hills, which I used to hit up semi-daily for a pint of that good stuff. Seriously, a pint in one sitting. After coming to one for the first time years later, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is an even huger menu of every possible flavor imaginable now, both of the icy and creamy variety (I don't mess with that icy nonsense though). Not only are the creme ices so good they make you forget about wanting to eat ice cream, but they give you an insanely huge portion for a ridiculously cheap price. Never one to a order a small (which is just $2), I opted for a medium (just $2.50), and it was HUGE. Even I would have been fine with just a small. They are super generous with the amount of ices they stick in that cup. Come to Ralph's if you want the best tasting, most satisfying and most economical dessert you can hope for. read more

This is probably my favorite place for ice's and ice cream. The hot fudge brownie sundae is hands down one of the best I've ever had. Parking is easily accessible as they have a lot, and they move the line pretty quick when it's long. Cash only and no cards. read more

Great little stop on a hot day while passing through Staten Island. We hit up this original location of the family owned chain (since 1928) for some delicious water ice and cream ices to cool us down. They also make tempting sundaes and ice cream too. There's such a wonderful, vast variety of flavors to chose from, 150 flavors to be exact. (I heard this location offers more flavors than others). It's really difficult to decide just what to get. Luckily you can fit two flavors into their rather large small size for just over 2 bucks! I tasted pink lemonade, pineapple, Malibu Bay Breeze and strawberry margarita ice. The latter was my personal fave. It was tart and sweet, and gave the impression it was rimmed with salt :) I'm from Philly, and most recently South Philly, so I'm a tad, ok, VERY picky about my water ice, and I definitely gave this spot the thumbs up. Great consistency and awesome flavor! Very homemade tasting! The line moved swiftly midday, and for those passing through en route elsewhere, just a heads up, this spot is just a window, there's no restroom. Oh, and it's cash only! All you Instagrammers, don't forget your pic across the street at the water ice themed colorful mural! Happy to have finally checked it off the ole bookmark list and saw how easy it is to stop here! Found a new pit-stop in the warmer months on the way to Coney Island! We'll be back for sure! Yay! read more

The best ice cream around. The staff is always eager to please!! I highly recommend Ralph's!

We stopped by this Italian ice place on a Saturday night before heading home to Brooklyn. They open late until 11pm so it was still open at 10:30pm when we got there. They have 70 flavors and you can get ice cream, creme ice, or water ice (dairy free). I decided to get a medium mango and passion fruit water ice ($3.25). You can get two flavors even if you order a small size. It was larger than I expected. I could've gotten a small size and it would be enough. It was refreshing and hit the spot on a hot summer day. There's no seating but you basically just eat in your car or in the parking lot. I would come back if I'm ever in the area. FYI - it's cash only. read more

Ralph's ice establishment has been around since I'm a young boy. I lived in the neighborhood in Port Richmond 3 blocks from Ralph's. I remember when they had 2 flavor ices Orange and lemon .25 &. 50 cents and times have changed & varieties of different ice cream's. I remember Mr. Ralph he was a good man old school , as time went on there were cherry ices and on occasions they would be chocolate ices which everybody & including my mom used to go crazy about the chocolate. The times have changed there a different varieties of flavor cream ices now & also sugar free which is excellent and ice cream's have different flavors , Ralphs ices establishment is the best in my eyes to this day during the season. read more

Ralph's Ices, 'nuff said!! That's really all I need to say, every flavor you can think of and then some.

Ralph's brings back those child hood memories for the adults while creating those for the kiddos. I mean talk about nostalgia from the moment you walk in. The unbelievable amount of choices from Ice to cream make the stress of choosing easy. The staff was extremely helpful (and patient!) in the entire process letting my kids try different flavors until they landed on the peanut butter and jelly! We appreciate everything, even the outdoor patio, so, Thank you to all and we will be back! read more
