Got a peanut butter fudge pretzel ice, large, had no pretzels. It was disappointing but still was a good ice. Staff is super helpful and friendly. There is good parking and outdoor seating. I will return and hopefully get pretzels in my ice next time. read more

One of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I arrived to pick up a delivery order and had to wait in line just to speak with an employee. After finally reaching the counter, I was told that the order was not ready, even though it consisted of only a small ice cream. When I asked how long it would take, the employee told me he needed to serve walk-in customers first, despite the fact that I had already been waiting. I explained that I was also working and representing a paying customer who had already placed and paid for the order. Instead of helping or providing an estimated wait time, the employee became dismissive, stated that he was working too, and ultimately refused to prepare the order at all. As a result, the customer never received their order and was left disappointed. Completely unprofessional behavior, poor communication, and no respect for either delivery drivers or customers. read more

If I could give this place one star I would went with five people was handed an iced cream cone that was melting bc they let it sit on the counter for 10 minutes. The inside looks dirty. And the employees are very rude read more

I was very disappointed with my purchase tonight. I ordered 3 Dubai sundaes that came to $48!! For what we paid they were absolutely not worth it! It was just vanilla soft serve in a small cup with chocolate sauce, a litte pistachio sauce, a strawberry, whipped cream and the tiniest piece I mean the tiniest piece of dubai chocolate and the smallest dusting of kunafa flakes. None of use liked it and ended up throwing them away! I have been going to Ralphs forever and have never had a complaint, but for what they charged for this Sundae I would have expected it to at least taste good and not be just a glorified vanilla hot fudge sundae. read more

Very good Italian ice, place is clean and the staff are friendly. Love this place if you get a chance you need to check it out too

If i could give zero stars I would. I went this evening for ice cream with my fiance, i ordered a small vanilla hard ice-cream with banana and extra rainbow sprinkles. When given my ice cream it was soft served. I told the person who made my ice-cream that i wanted hard ice-cream and the owner came over and lectured me that i ordered two many toppings for a small and shouldn't have. I reiterated that i was not complaining about my toppings, but that i was given the wrong ice-cream. After her continuously being rude to me, my fiancé wanted a refund for everything, and no longer wanted the get any ice-cream there. the owner stated his was fine and that she would only refund mine. I was APALLED by the professionalism here. And as she said "shes worked there for 25 years" and obviously those 25 years sucked the personality out of her. As two people who work in hospitality i am embarrassed for her. Considering my small vanilla icecream cost 14 dollars since there is a 5 dollar upcharge to add banana, i think the least the owner could do would be to give me the correct icecream. I HIGHLY suggest to go anywhere but here read more

How could anyone hate on Ralph's? Sure this location has spotty service but don't they all? It's like a teenager managed store almost every location you find. I was just wondering their policy on nut sleepiest as I got a delicious pistachio shake along with my favorite rainbow cookie ice.. but I quickly realized I dgaf because I was raised in a time where but allergies weren't a thing and Ralph's rules! read more

Ralph's Famous Italian Ices - Pistachio shake - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Patchogue, New York

We are literally obsessed with Ralph's Italian Ices and we stop by 4x a year or more when we drive out east and back. The service can be spotty during typical peak hours in the summer which one would expect since the space is small. They don't just serve typical 3-5 flavors and we are always talking about which flavors we will try next time. Kid friendly sizes offered and overall delicious! I recommend Ralph's ices for people of all ages! read more

Let me start by saying the owner, Mariam, is quite possibly the worst and rudest business owner I've ever interacted with. I purchased an ice on 9/12 at 4pm which I then ate at 10:30pm when I noticed a long, black hair in it. I called the store the following day to ask for a refund and was told to come in for another ice instead which I did about fifteen minutes later. When I got to the store the employee asked if I knew what flavor I had bought and who I purchased the ice from. I told her the flavor but said I didn't know the employee's name then inquired why I was now being questioned. The employee responded "my boss said next time this happens you need to bring the ice with the hair back." Nice they assumed there'd be a next time I'd be finding a hair in food purchased from their store. Well lucky for her boss I'd taken a picture of the hair. I asked the employee to have her boss call me. Later that night I received a call from the owner, Mariam. Mariam very rudely started the call, "This is the owner of Ralph's, you had a problem with your ice." I responded "why are you starting out with an attitude?" To which she said "why didn't you call when you first had a problem?" (You'd think an owner would be more concerned about a customer finding a hair in their food over when they call to report the issue, but apparently not.) I informed her it was because I ate the ice after they were already closed and then said "what does it fcking matter what time I called?" Mariam then shouted "you crossed a line" and proceeded to hang up on me. I never planned to post a review, or a picture, but considering how poorly I was treated I wanted to share my experience to hopefully prevent others from having to go through the same experience. Save yourself from being treated so disrespectfully and go to Tina's Italian Ice instead. read more

Terrible service!! Would not recommend this dirty place and nasty staff! It is worth the drive to Sayville. Young underage staff is nasty and has no idea how to make anything. Messed up our entire order, then argued with us when we asked for a replacement after spending almost $40 on 4 sundaes!! read more

I stopped here while on Long Island with my roommate, who is from the area. She very excitedly told me to "Yelp the shit out of this place." And Yelp it, I shall. Italian ice and cream ices are unfamiliar to me. I am so glad that I have become acquainted. Delicious. So so good! And fairly inexpensive. If I lived nearby, I'd be here everyday, for sure. read more

Some older woman working at this location was kind of rude. She asked for my name for the order and I told her over and over. She responded with "yeah, like I'll remember that". Um, did you want me to change my name for you?!? The shake was good and the younger girls here are very polite. Im sorry for the negative review but the one lady rubbed me the wrong way so badly. read more

Cute little spot to get some famous Ralph's Italian ice. The best part of Ralph's is the amount of choices for flavors; endless. From strawberry cheese cake to peanut butter to key lime. This place has everything you can imagine. The worst part about Ralph's is the amount of choices.. you can never decide. I kid I kid. Key lime with graham cracker has to be my favorite combo of all time with strawberry and graham cracker being a close second. The staff that works here are always usually pretty efficient. Many times they have let me purchase ices to go and keep them in the fridge until we finish the ones we are eating there which is nice I've even brought my pupper Hudson, who has enjoyed a nice cup of whipped cream ( I believe they charged me ¢50.) The only reason I give it a four is because the ambiance could be a lot better. I wish they would fix it up just a little more. read more

The ice cream sundae I had was amazing. Pretzel twist. Loved the free 15 minute parking right up at the front!!! So used to paying for everything in the village. This location is around back off the main st. Even though it's address is Main st. there can be big lines however they move quickly. Kind of a hangout spot for teens and families. The flavors are varied and categorized by cream, water, sugar free. They do custard and Ice Cream they even have the fresh hot waffle to accompany your Ice Cream. I got a 10$ a week habit. I'm trying out all the flavors before summers end. I like the Orange Creamsicle, the Tiramisu, and the Vanilla Malt. read more

Flat out perfect. Friendly staff, generous portions of frozen deliciousness. Nice outside tables. Live music now and again Peanut butter fudge pretzel, coconut raspberry tart, blueberry cheesecake. So many cream ice flavors - so little summer. Tips: don't get a lid, you get more ice without it. If you are bringing it home, bring some aluminum foil and get a tray. I personally cannot speak for the ice cream, because I go for the ices. read more

VERY disappointed with my most recent visit. I have been going to this Ralph's since I was a child. I have never felt so disrespected and spoken down to in my life. The woman who helped me was extremely rude and had a terrible attitude. I should have taken my money and left. Will never visit this location again. Terrible. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The women at the counter watched me hold my credit card in my hand while I placed my order then when I was done she told me there would be a $10 minimum. I ordered another ice and she said it only came to $9. Did she want me to place another order for the fun of it ? she ended up losing my sale completely. Good for her ! Tried to get me for another dollar and lost my sale entirely. Also lost my business because I will never go back there ever again. read more

The ices sell themselves. For some reason this is the second location that has had awful customer service. The one lady working behind the counter had such a snarky attitude. It's a shame because I really do enjoy Ralph's flavor ices. But I'm sorta getting annoyed of the employee attitudes. It's almost starting to effect the flavor of the ices. read more

A delicious summer treat! Many flavors to choose from and a lot of topping options which makes for lots of choices. Sometimes I have trouble picking with all the different choices you can pick from. Best italian ices any where- wish they were open year round!

Went on a hot bust night with the family. Line looked LONG but I couldn't believe how fast it moved! They had tables and chairs and umbrellas set up and cute adirondack chairs for seating outside. Good family spot for an after dinner treat. Prices were very reasonable ($2. 75) for a small ice and $3.80 for the large. Good portions and a lot of choices. Staff was friendly, quick and let us taste a few before buying. I know there are many Ralph's on Long Island, but I would definitely recommend this one because it was clean and is a nice place to sit and enjoy. Coming back soon to try new flavors! read more

This Ralph's is our family favorite been going for 10 years in the summers. Great atmosphere good service from the friendly staff. Music playing seating outside. If this is the one by the gym on the back of main street, they were so utterly rude. The manager couldn't care less that I was served an iced WITH A OEANUT ALLGERY (that I had advised them of previously before ordering) and the ice contained peanuts ! The manager told me this was my fault. The staff is overly rude and a terrible environment for kids with allergies since the staff is so careless. If you look on other sites they also have given awful reviews. Do us a favor and hire staff that at least cares about their jobs and doesn't hate life! read more

Best place ever!! They have great ice and the ralphaccino is really good I would definitely recommend!!

The absolute worst ice cream customer service. I just left and I'm so angry. The brunette girl (only girl working) is beyond rude. On google it says they close at 11:30 when it's clear they're doing all closing work and everyone's upset to be there my ice cream for two came to 7 dollars. I had my debit card on me, and she nastily told me it's a 10 dollar minimum when I've several times been to this location and they never told me a minimum. It's a DEBIT card not credit. I can understand credit because companies charge businesses. She slammed the glass door in my face after I caved in and bought two pints because she refused to have a "customer is always right" attitude. I'm SO angry. Worst and most unfriendly Ralphs on the island !!!! read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! this summer I have had two bad experiences. The first problem was a coupon for a free kids ice that my son earned from the library for completing the summer reading program. All the coupon said was that it must be used that day for the Patchogue Ralph's. After dinner we went to get our ices at 9:15 and they told me they wouldn't accept the coupon after 9pm. Nowhere on the coupon did it say anything about a time. Ralph's is open until 11. When I argued about it not saying a time limit I was told they didn't know what to tell me they weren't going to accept it. I gave them another shot last night and again I had a coupon, this time from the newspaper. They told me it wasn't their coupon and all Ralph's are privately owed. So I pointed out that the back of the coupon listed the Patchogue location and I was told it isn't theirs and they won't accept it. What happen to the customer being right? What happened to friendly customer service? They would have been better off validating the coupon bc now they lost my family as customers. read more
