Oct 01 Just when you think you have had the best and then…read moreyou have tried the rest..... Kilwins? OMG what have you done to me? I haphazardly found Kilwins Ice Cream on the way to an event. I could not find the event and Kilwins Ice Cream LOOKED D'licious and beautiful so I went inside and asked for directions. I was given directions for my venue by two female employees inside of their production center, I told them I would be back. On my return, I stepped inside of the beautiful and very attractive shop, the person that gave me directions welcomed me back. What an impact that one statement had on me, I was most definitely impressed. Most people see you come back and act like it was your first time there. The young lady acknowledged my return. WOW! For sure these employees are aware and attentive of who is coming into their shop. KUDOS to the staff. I was also greeted and attended with such enthusiasm and joy, it made me happy to spend some money, and I did not mind the cost. My actions were evident when the young lady was telling me the price. My response was, it's okay, I am not worried about the price. Thinking to myself, I just wanted some pecan clusters. I did say that this shop looked d'licious so here is my purchase- Peanut Caramel Corn - something like crunch and munch but 1000 times better and different. A softer chew and oh so good. Peanut Brittle- The peanut brittle that I have had from other places where hard caramelized light in contrast, this is a darker version and not too hard to chew. Not like hard candy like others. Very good. Pecan Clusters - A standing ovation. I have had the rest and now I have had the best. This pecan cluster was so soft to chew with portioned pecan chips. Wait for it.... and a hint of salt. BOOM! OMG! This pecan cluster exceeds anything that the famous River Street Sweet has in its shop. This is a home run. I enjoyed this experience so much that I had to brag about it to someone that worked at the other place I mentioned. River what? I forgot the name, LOL! This was a very expensive visit and within my budget. I think $86 is far less than a ticket to Savannah Georgia! But Hey! Inspire more, Yelp more!

We love visits to Kilwins, and what my actual fav from here is ... the chocolate covered marshmallows. It reminds me of the Russel Stovers seasonal ones I love so much only better!!! One of the worst customer service experiences I've had…read more I arrived to pick up a delivery order and had to wait in line just to speak with an employee. After finally reaching the counter, I was told that the order was not ready, even though it consisted of only a small ice cream. When I asked how long it would take, the employee told me he needed to serve walk-in customers first, despite the fact that I had already been waiting. I explained that I was also working and representing a paying customer who had already placed and paid for the order. Instead of helping or providing an estimated wait time, the employee became dismissive, stated that he was working too, and ultimately refused to prepare the order at all. As a result, the customer never received their order and was left disappointed. Completely unprofessional behavior, poor communication, and no respect for either delivery drivers or customers.

I paid $0.86 cents per ounce or $9.82 for a small cup that I didn't even fill up to the rim. Forty Carrots doesn't charge per ounce so you always get a full sized cup. Unfortunately, they do not offer a kids sized cup or small sized portion at all so it's not possible to buy anything smaller than a 12 oz. Cup. Ir would've been nice if they offered a 6 oz cup size let's say if you didn't want to blow a full days worth of calories on this.
