What an adorable little ice cream shop. This is the exact kind of place your kids will remember you bringing them to. It's the modern day, Willy Wonka of ice cream shops. So much to see so many colors, Sweet treats everywhere even for the dog. Joanne welcomes you in and makes you feel at home as soon as you enter. There's so many fresh flavors of ice cream to choose from . Don't be shy, ask for a sample of the flavor you're looking to try. I look forward to going back to try that the chocolate peanut butter ice cream next. read more

Everything was really good. Had the pumpkin frozen yogurt and strawberry. Both very tasty.

Fabulous, tasty, self serve frozen yogurt with perfect consistency (creamy yet firm). Wide variety of flavors (including fat free) and toppings. Clean, cheerful area for sitting. We will be back - all the way from East Setauket!! read more

Always super friendly staff and frozen yogurts always on point I would definitely recommend

Hands down one of the best if not the best açaí bowl in Suffolk county. Very kid friendly if you have children. They have board games conveniently placed on a shelf. Smaller tables and chairs. Candy, ice cream that is usually available on ice cream trucks, and mini melts. read more

I absolutely love Berry Fresh! Super clean and practice very good sanitary measures during this time with Covid. Staff have always been very friendly and allow me to try different options. PB & Mint with Hot Fudge is to die for! read more

This is the best frozen yogurt I've had in Suffolk. It's second on my list right after my favorite Fro-Yo in Nassau. I came here after watching sports and wanted to treat myself. The girls that worked here were extremely friendly. The place was quite because they had no music playing, I thought that was a bit weird. The Fro-Yo is .65 cents a cup so it's priced well. I really enjoyed the Yogurt at this place. The floor was a bit messy and one of the lights above the toppings bar was out. Hopefully the owner understand that he needs to pay attention to all the small details in order to get people in the store. I would definitely come back because it is the best spot in Suffolk, but it's only because the Fro-Yo is good and not because I enjoyed the vibe of the place. read more

Great new frozen yogurt joint! Many delicious flavors including mango, peanut butter and chocolate. The mango flavor was the best I've had and that's saying a lot because I frequent a lot for yogurt joints throughout the country. As for the prices, they are pretty reasonable as well. FYI: One strange note, be forwarned the owner gets really weird about pictures of his store. Definitely ask before taking pictures. read more

I went here as a treat after a long bike ride for a healthy treat of fruit and Froyo . I was slightly disgusted by the yogurt Boogar ooze overwhelmingly flowing from the fronts of the machines . I decided I didn't reall trust the Froyo At this point so went to get a cup Of fruit with the drop of Froyo I took .... There was not one .. Not one peice of fruit ??? Nothing . Worst Froyo visit ever read more

I was on the website to check the stores hours just now. I was so surprised by the few bad reviews. I've just recently begun going and have had only pleasant experiences. Clean store, plenty of flavors and toppings. Owner is always there and pleasant. I haven't had an issue. But people rarely go on and leave good reviews , only when they are upset to get back at the owner. People need to realize for any negative review, there are many more happy customers who just go home and eat their froyo with a smile. Yes, froyo gets expensive and people don't realize this when you pay by the ounce. They have twofer Tuesday's which is BOGO. You should try it. I never understand why people try to ruin someone's business. Some people will always have issues wherever they go. And if you don't like a store, don't go back and move on. Why try to ruin someone. ? read more

This was the first yogurt place that didn't have cookies and cream. The toppings options were fine, but it was really expensive. I didn't get that much yogurt or toppings and my bill was almost $10. My usual is maybe $8 but nothing more. The seating situation was also packed and too close to the yogurt machines. I would advise going to sweet frog for the one price cups. read more

Delicious frozen yogurt options! Loved it! I always randomly crave frozen yogurt and this is definitely the perfect treat!

Really good fro-yo and one of the best places for açaí bowls. I've ordered from just about every frozen yogurt place around here on door dash and this is definitely one of the better ones. I'll be back! read more

My children and I aways enjoy going- the store is immaculately clean- they always have a nice selection of flavors- and the fruit is always fresh. The açaí bowls are good to stay on track while the kids eat the gummy bears. Everyone is always friendly and professional. read more

Berry Fresh - Colorful and fun - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Bayport, New York

Clean well kept serve yourself frozen yogurt spot. There are a bunch of tables inside to sit down and hang out at while eating your creation. They usually have at least 12 flavors of yogurt, and a plethora of toppings ranging from fresh pineapple to gummy bears. The staff is always courteous and professional and tolerant of the kids making a mess. Prices are reasonable. They also do a ton for the community fundraiser-wise. They have ice cream shakes as well, and the one time I had a cake from there it was delicious. I've never tried their açaí bowls though. read more

Tried this for the first time a few nights ago... And WOW! I loved it. They had me right from the beginning by putting out little taster cups so you can try any yogurt you want. I tried a bunch of them, and the mint cookie and peanut butter were my favorites. Others were pretty good (except cotton candy), but I loved the peanut butter and mint yogurt so I went with those. Then I got to the toppings.... Dear god. When you go to an ice cream shop, it's often a sundae with this or that topping. In this store, there was EVERYTHING. mini Reese's pieces, crushed Andes mints, all sorts of fruits, yogurt chips, there was so so so much. I was in heaven. I was loading everything up, and loving that I was not being charged per topping (it's by weight). Where I absolutely lost it was at the sauces, they had peanut butter sauce and marshmallow sauce (amongst many others)... I almost died with happiness. At friendlys I always get the Reese's pieces sundae because I LOVE their peanut butter sauce. I always ask for extra. I think I could drink it. The only thing missing is some marshmallow sauce... So I got both things... And the ability to add whatever amount I wanted. Needless to say, I almost showered in it. When I got to the register, I was expecting a little bit of a heavy cost. Cold stone is rather pricey as is friendlys for a full sundae, and I have been to other yogurt places in the past where I thought "what's he point of making your own a this price?" ... But this came out to just under 5 bucks. I was expecting 6-7. I didn't get a ton of yogurt, but certainly a decent amount, and I got at least 5 different toppings not including the sauces. Fantastic option when you're feeling creative and wanting to make your own and experiment for relatively cheap. I loved my creation, and will definitely go back. Another review mentioned cake batter yogurt, but I didn't see it. If there is cake batter next time... I'm fairly certain ill be unable to leave the store. Cake batter + peanut butter sauce + marshmallow... I could die happy after that. read more

This place is fantastic! The new owner is very friendly, they offer more choices than regular yoghurt stores and very Clean. and! they do a lot of community events which is evidence by all the thank you letters. We had the best time at Berry Fresh! I took my sister and my nieces children to stop in for a yummy treat, Sooo many delicious flavors fresh toppings to choose from, friendly staff with great smiles for everyone. The children had a ball! Got to sit at there own little table while us adults sat right there at a table next to them. They colored and got to hang up there creations on the wall. Then what was extra special where the kindness rocks the owner Joanne had laid out for all to pick and create there own kindness rock. This place is a rip off. I got 2 small cups of frozen yogurt with no toppings and my total was $29!!! I asked for a breakdown and she just said "that's the price. It's 65 cents an ounce". There's no way 2 small cups cost $29 it's insane. The young kids are so rude. How dare you charge so much for yogurt and it melts as soon as it comes out of the machine. I just moved to the area and I won't be coming back. Almost $30 on melted frozen yogurt and they don't even give you spoons in the bag. It's honestly a joke. read more

I love the large variety of toppings and the froyo always tastes very fresh. The only negative is the acai bowls- the price is good but the acai is very liquidy and just tastes like banana. Stick with the froyo and you will enjoy. read more

I was craving frozen yogurt & my husband drove to Berry Fresh at 7:30 on a Wednesday night. Amazing desserts and froyo- nice location- clean- wonderful experience.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER GO HERE IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE! Worst customer service, worst experience. We were charged $21 at 65 cents per ounce. I was SHOCKED when I saw how insanely high the total was when I brought up the two NOT EVEN HALF FILLED CUPS to the register. I was so appalled by the DISGUSTING ATTITUDE of this rude woman working the counter, I knew something was wrong. So when I left I let her know that this was insanely overpriced and the scale is wrong, she proceeded to tell me that I was wrong, so I went home and weighed the yogurt myself, I even weighed it with the cup, which they are supposed to subtract the weight from, and the total weight was LESS THAN HALF WHAT SHE CHARGED US FOR! we paid double what we were supposed to. We called back to tell her that we know what they are trying to pull, and she tried to tell me that I should've said something in the store. WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO BRING MY SCALE TO YOUR STORE TO SHOW YOU THAT YOU ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF LEFT AND RIGHT! CHARGING DOUBLE?!!? read more

The individual that was working today who stated she was the owner was extremely rude. I only had credit card told me she wasnt paying the fees for "just me". She stated I can go to 7 eleven if I wanted the shake or go elsewhere. It was raining and there are plenty of places that allow customers to use their credit card even if there is a minimum. I didn't see the sign because it's not posted on the door. I felt this way based on my race because of how she spoke. I left and didnt get anything. I will never go here again. And to the rude individual, you never know who you're speaking with so you should treat everyone with respect and understanding. I was one person I wasn't asking for something complex. She needed an attitude adjustment and skills on how to speak with people. You never turn away customers for $5.43. read more

This place is kind of those hidden wonder places. Like I stopped there real quick on my way to the place I was staying for a week a few months ago and I fell In love with it, the staff were extremely kind and the owner really knew how to make everyone laugh, the topping bar was extremely clean and the yogurt machines were spotless. They have a great system here. Turns out I wound up moving up to New York close by and I stop by a few times a week to get my lovely indulgent of yogurt. read more

The flavors really aren't established yet here. The girl helping us didn't seem to happy to help us try out flavors as she kept asking us very dully "Is there anything else?" After trying a couple of flavors like the passion fruit and cake batter, I ultimately decided on vanilla because it was the only ok choice. My sister tried a couple of other flavors and neither were any better. There weren't any other frozen yogurt places in the area so unfortunately this had to suffice. It's only ok. read more

Very overpriced, the staff was pretty unhelpful. The flavors are decent but the problem is that the just gouge you on the per ounce price. Much cheaper to go to get a real deal at tinas italian ice, or ralphs, or even possible carvel. I would go back if they lowered the prices. read more

I went in with my boyfriend tonight. We were surprised that there wasn't a lot of flavors although all the flavors we tried were delicious. They do have a great assortment of toppings. When we got to the register, my boyfriend asked if they gave military discounts. The girl replied "yes, 100% off!" We both thought she was joking but sure enough she wasn't. She explained that all active military get their frozen yogurt for free. It's great to see their support, even if it's something as small as free frozen yogurt. read more

It is disappointing we are forced to rate this place one star. Zero is more appropriate. There have been on and off issues with the state of the yogurt machines and the inability of the staff to keep them clean and presentable to customers. But, unfortunately that is what seems to be acceptable in the yogurt shop world for some unknown reason. But, to top it off the staff they have hired appears to have zero concept of customer service. We went there on Friday evening (10/6/17) and found the experience odd. The worker at the register, after informing her we needed covers and a bag, just handed them to us. I found it odd as normally here and any yogurt place the staff politely covers your yogurts and puts them in a bag with spoons and napkins. We figured it was an off night and ended up in the area and came back tonight (10/7/17). The same girl was at the register and repeatedly with the customers in front of us when they asked for a cover she just handed it to them and then they would have to ask for a bag and she would just hand it to them and they would have to take care of it themselves. So, when we got to the register I clearly and politely indicated that she could put covers on and put them in the bag. With a scowl on her face she did it. Then I asked if she put spoons in the bag. Her response was - no they're right here (pointing to the bucket of spoons). I commented what happened to customer service and her response was "I put the yogurts in the bag for you". Clearly she has no clue. Not sure if this is lack of training or if the owners have completely given up on this place. It is so sad and presumably this is prime real estate in the area. It is sad that it is wasted on this dump. This place needs oversight on the cleanliness of the place, the quality of the product and training and closer supervision of the staff. I always give a place a second chance, but they lost their second shot very quickly and I will be sure to communicate it to everyone I know as this was an awful experience. read more

More ice cream than yogurt, not kept at cold enough temperature if you take it to go, make sure you eat in the car because it will instantly melt, smallest topping selection of the frozen yogurts in the area. People are nice, product sincerely lacks. read more
