What a cute place! I love the cozy vibes of this small cafe attached to the Ralph Lauren store. I got the draft oat latte and it had such good flavor. It was very busy (Saturday before Christmas!) but the line moved along well and the employees were in good spirits. There was seating inside (not much) and also outside (all seats taken of course). Okay. So maybe a few moments of my recent trip to Ralph's Coffee in Manhasset are a bit specific to me, and perhaps the location emanates a little stereotypical pretentiousness in my mind, but it's hard for me to warrant anything above three stars for this place. Let's start with the positives in that Ralph's definitely has a vibe as stated in other reviews. I do love the old school interior and outdoor patio area. It was unique compared to most coffee places on the island, though you can't eat (or drink in this instance) ambiance. I'll also say my initial interactions with the staff were friendly and most importantly, my iced vanilla latte was tasty and I enjoyed it from start to finish. Having said that, Ralph's is a coffee spot that offers one size and so my small iced latte, with the addition of vanilla syrup (another dollar that isn't listed and I wasn't told about) came to $8.71 charged. Yikes. Maybe the area contains customers that wouldn't scoff at this and I know the connection to the RL brand, but today I bought a large iced latte from my favorite spot that included a syrup flavor and it cost LESS than what I had at Ralph's. Tsk tsk. Beyond that, the menu doesn't list any flavors and when I had asked, it felt as though I was asking the staff member something stressful. I'm also used to being asked what kind of milk I'd like and when I told the staffer I'd just take whole milk he said "yup" as though that's the only option or I didn't have a choice anyway. The small kicker (and definitely something personal to my experience so take it with a grain of salt) was when I asked if they had any stickers. Ralph's Coffee sells a ton of merch and yet stickers are not one of the items. When I asked if they had any, the staff member and another one standing with him looked at each other and then at me like I had asked if they sold pizza. It's really not an outlandish question when a majority of coffee spots I visit have stickers available for purchase (or even for free!). Alas, they told me I could buy a fruit cup that had a pre-labeled sticker on the front of the cups. How about no... Overall, if you take out that specific interaction, I can maybe possibly push Ralph's Coffee to four stars, but even so, it's still a tough brew to swallow when thinking about the price. Maybe Ralph's is just not my cup of tea (or coffee rather) for a variety of feelings that combine together to get to this review, but I don't necessarily see myself going out of my way to come back. It's possible because the coffee was a good caliber and I like the vibe, but everything else was eh, so do what you will with that. read more

Stopped in after a local appointment for coffee. The menu is short and simple. I ordered a chai latte. It was $6. That's typical for this area. The cashier who took my order was friendly. The drink was made quickly. It was hot and definitely fresh. It was very good. I wanted to sit inside the small cafe and enjoy my latte but there was no room. It does seem cozy but they need a bigger space. I sat outside for a bit but it was too cold. The outside seating is cute even the temps are nicer. One of the best hot chocolates I've had! The holiday season is officially coming up soon, so they had a couple of holidays flavors available like the peppermint hot chocolate and gingerbread latte. The line was out the door over the weekend. I've never had a negative experience at a Ralph's Coffee yet, which proves that it's one of the best cafes you can find in NY. Over $10 for a small mocha is a bit insane to me. It is brand name, yes, but it isn't the most amazing mocha ever. I do appreciate that it isn't as sweet as most mochas and that it is made with dark chocolate, but it is still way too expensive for a drink that is subpar. The ambiance is nice and super niche. They have an outside seating area which is shaded and and indoor seating area prior to entering the shop itself. The customer service was excellent by the girl behind the counter. Paid $7 for a cold brew. I didn't leave a tip, because it was such a simple drink, but they made me wait five minutes to pour it. There were like, four people behind the counter, and no one else was on line. The cold brew was good, but the customer service is atrocious. I used to go often because I really like their overnight oats, and their croissants are great. But was turned off by that experience. I wonder if the owners know this is how staff treat people who don't tip. Ultimately, stores will lose a lot of business this way, and it cheapens the brand. read more

Decided to check out this new coffee shop in the shopping plaza after seeing a line out the door! It's actually a cute shop that's well decorated and had plenty of people seated both indoors and outdoors. And the colors really stood out as you walked by! It's a coffee shop so of course the menu is focused on coffee products, but they also have a few baked goods which looked appetizing as well. I only got the iced coffee which was pretty smooth but I was also intrigued by the coffee soft serve. The staff gave me a sample and it was delicious! It had ground coffee beans in it and was the perfect soft serve texture with just the right amount of coffee flavor. Definitely would come again for a cute coffee date or to chill. Let me paint the picture for you... it's 3pm on a Wednesday and I'm driving to Long Island from my cancer follow up appointment in Hackensack, NJ. Craving a cup of coffee after leaving my house at 7am, I stop at the Americana and pay $7 for ~8 ounces at Ralph's coffee. I grab my computer to answer an email for work after sitting in traffic and spending all day at the doctors before my surgery tomorrow. There are 7 tables inside Ralph's, 2 couples occupying one table each, and no line. I sit down and connect to their guest WiFi (why does this exist???) with my laptop and take a sip of my outrageously priced coffee. I can take a deep breath for the first time all day! A very kind staff member comes up to me and I smile and say hello. He tells me I am not allowed to use my computer in Ralph's. Shocked-- I ask why and he says they need the table space. I look at the 4 empty tables surrounding me and say "no one is here, I just purchased a coffee and need to send an email". He holds up the sign hidden behind a boutique of fake flowers and says "it's the rules". This isn't 5 star dining at a Michelin star restaurant. I didn't take out my laptop at Capital Grille. There are no table cloths or silverware. I was drinking from a paper cup. This is literally a coffee shop in a mall. I will say, the gentlemen who informed me of no laptops came to apologize and was very kind and understanding. It's not his fault who ever made this rule has no sense of real life. To the management: you have some nerve telling your patrons they can't sit in your empty cafe on a week day and do some work so they can afford to pay for your overpriced coffee. Give people the benefit of the doubt. I'm sorry that no laptops for your ~vibe~ so someone can post a photo on instagram is more important than your customers. By the way-- the cafe was empty by the time pressed submit on this review! Hope that worked out for you! read more

I was recently in the area for a dentist appointment, so I had to stop by after for some coffee! I got an iced maple latte and a yogurt with blueberries and granola. The shop itself was super cute and there is some seating if you wanted to sit down and relax. I brought my kindle with me to read while eating - it was a nice way to start my morning! The coffee and food was a bit overpriced in my opinion, but I didn't mind because I enjoyed it. Especially the coffee, which was good quality and had the perfect amount of sweetness. Such a fun shop to visit at Americana Manhasset, and a much-needed coffee shop for the location. I visited on a Sunday and had to wait around 10-15 minutes in line before I could place my order. However, the service was very friendly and efficient despite the wait. The wait was tolerable because the center section was filled with merchandise, providing great entertainment for me. The coffee shop itself had a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. The Coffee Ice Cream (Soft Serve) was amazing. It had small bits of coffee bean infused into it, which enhanced the flavor and left me wanting more. Ralph's Iced Coffee was also exceptionally rich; it didn't taste watered down, burnt, or acidic--it was perfect. I would definitely return. Keep up the great work! read more

This is such a cute coffee shop! The decor and souvenirs were all so picturesque! The line can get quite long but it moves quickly. They have some specialty lattes that are not on the menu but you will see them on a big display sign once you get to the counter to order. The baked goods menu is limited but I would opt for the soft serve (vanilla or coffee). Stop by if you're shopping at Americana Manhasset as they have indoor and outdoor seating! P.S. I really enjoy this cafe. Located in the furniture section of the Ralph Lauren store, it's a bit out of the way for a grab and go if you're walking the main strip of the "miracle mile," but the coffee is amazing. There's ample indoor and outdoor seating if you want to rest your weary legs. They serve only a few pastries, vanilla or espresso soft serve that features ground up espresso beans in it, and my favorite summer drink ever, the espresso tonic. A totally balanced, refreshing and unexpectedly addicting espresso/tonic drink reminiscent of a tonic-based cocktail for those who enjoy something bitter and sweet. The espresso tonic is full sugar tonic water topped with a juicy orange slice and a double espresso shot. There's a stunning separation of ingredients great for a photo op, but don't forget to gently mix, lest you want to be wearing it too. Okay, so you can definitely recreate the espresso tonic at home, but on a hot summer day when you're out shopping, there's no reward better than a cold coffee? read more

We went on a nice sunny day and got a table outside. We were super pleased by the atmosphere, loved the green decor and the displays set up inside. We browsed around a bit before ordering our coffee and decided we needed to buy everything someday! :) The coffee and food selection was pretty good, my friend and I definitely appreciate variety and having a ton of options. She went with the grapefruit espresso tonic and I decided on a regular iced coffee - although it was a bit overpriced as expected, the compliementary matcha black and white cookie definitely made it worth it!!! It was hands down the best cookie I've ever had and was definitely one of the highlights of my visit, maybe even my day! I've been to the Ralph's Coffee truck in Manhattan and was so happy to visit this outpost in Manhasset! It's inside the RL store and decorated beautifully, of course. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty my cappuccino was. My on complaint was the staff behind the counter. The young man who rung me at the register was pleasant and helpful, but the young lady he was seeking guidance from about a question I asked (if they offered any gluten-free products) couldn't care less, rolled her eyes and replied "I don't know" - she clearly had zero people skills and couldn't care less about her job. Still, I had a nice experience and definitely recommend this for a pit stop when shopping or if you need a quick pick-me-up. They even have a small but cute outdoor seating area. read more

Good quality coffee (uses La Colombe) in the Ralph Lauren store at The Americana in Manhasset. If you are standing in front of the store from the parking lot side (not Northern Blvd) you enter from the left entrance immediately into the store. It's easy enough to park, get coffee and leave if you dont intend to shop. The service is very friendly. There are a few baked good options to eat. A 12 oz drip coffee is $4 which is a bit steep but it's consistent with Americana pricing. read more
