When we're in Elyria we stop often because we love the food. The combo deals are fantastic. So are the prices for them. We stopped about a month ago and got the mushroom swiss burger combo for $5. DELICIOUS! We love the apple pie, but today, February 14,2026, the apple pies were just okay. There was no cinnamon sugar on the outside so it was kind of blah. Didn't care for that! I placed an online order on 1/17/26 and my double cheeseburger was over cooked and thin as paper, White Castle burgers are thicker. Also the fries must have been sitting for a while because they were stuck together and cold. I will not bother with Checkers anymore nor recommend them. See photos read more

Sat in drive thru for 30 minutes and order still wasn't ready when I finally got to the window.

So disappointed today. I was excited to try the new flatbread sandwiches. I ordered the spicy chicken and the burger bacon flatbread deals. My burger was dry, bread and burger were burnt, the bbq sauce was sour, no lettuce, cheese melted to bread not the burger. So wrong. Yuk. My son had the chicken flatbread. It smelled like fish he said. IDK if they fry fish with the chicken, but he hadn't eaten it at 10:30 pm, si it was really unappealing. He just went hungry for 8 hours until I got home. Sad. This is the only Rally's in the area and it always has good food. Even though their small burgers are small they pack a big punch! I also really enjoy their Big Bufords which if you never had one it is a must have! Chili dogs and never forget their infamous seasoned fries with cheese sauce always a fan fav! They always keep you coming back for more by always having deals and new deals like every month or other month. The creativity of their new sandwiches continues to impress me and on a scale of 1-10 I will give Rallys a 8.9. I am also very impressed on how they do not make their burgers sloppy like most fast food restaurants and make them as perfect as can be. Placed a mobile order for two small burgers and one french fry said my order would be ready in five minutes showed up was greeted by the speaker saying "name?" told her my name was told to pull up sat there for 15 minutes not a single person cashed me out or handed me. My food drive-through kept running saw three cars have their order taken and got their order yet I was never spoken to and I ended up just leaving because I overall sat there for 20 minutes for two burgers and one fry. Under staffed and sometimes even closed because they are. Came one evening at about 7pm and the guy working said he wasn't able to serve me because he's closing shop. When they are open they are SLOW. Food is good. But if you go make sure you give yourself time to wait. read more

The drive through (due to coronavirus) wasn't a long wait at all, the food is decent. Fries are seasoned and hot but soft. The Baconzilla burger wasn't bad, bacon is crispy but not hard, burger was a burger not salty but not lacking. Definitely was an experience! But it's a little more pricey than I was expecting. read more

(Real name: Rally's) A pretty good fast food burger place. Just as good as Burger King or McDonald's. It's a drive thru place though and there is no real sit down space except for some picnic tables outside. Decent fast food and fairly quick service so I have no complaints. read more

I waited nearly 30 minutes in the drive thru, if you don't believe me check the time this is posted because I'm still in the drive thru. It's pretty nuts, I've been here numerous times now, just to see if it changes. It never has. The food isn't good, staff oftentimes unfriendly. Ok, I've only eaten at a few Rally's & Checkers. Cleveland, Punta Gorda, St. Petersburg, to name a few. I have to say, the fries have been my weakness. This Rally's just broke me of that. I don't mind driving around to let others go when my order isn't ready but, please, could you at least try to have all the food hot? The cheese sticks were great (though she left out the marinara sauce), the fries were cold & soggy. I drove back through the drive through & asked for some fresh, hot fries. Mike acted like I was trying to rip him off. He got fries for me, thank you. Hot, thank you but, soggier than the cold ones. C'mon, I KNOW you can do better than that. You have the best fries! If I could give 0 stars I most definitely would. Got a 5 piece boneless chicken that was literally hard as a rock and a chicken bite box that tasted like it was sitting out and then put right back into the fryer. The whole restaurant smelled like marijuana when the cashier opened the window. Would not ever recommend this place to anybody unless you want food poisoning. Highlyyyyyy dissatisfied. I won't bother with the specifics because pretty much everything was wrong. Every single time I go to this place, the order is wrong and poorly made, that's IF their "system isn't down." I used to really like it but a couple of weeks ago I ate there and woke up in the middle of the night with food poisoning. May had to do with the hamburger recall then but I can't bring myself to go back and try it again. I do love there banana milkshakes. Maybe I'll go back for that. The last 2 times I was at Rally's the service was awful and the food was awful too. The pop was flat and they didn't put any ice in it. The wait time at the drive-thru was ridiculous - they weren't even busy. read more
