I ordered the jumbo perch sandwich which seemed reasonable at $10. The 2 large perch fillets were already breaded and were fried fresh then went on a bun with tarter sauce. Overall the prep was quick and well done. Relaxing out on the patio I did enjoy the sandwich; the perch fillets were perfectly cooked with a crisp crust and moist white fish inside. The highlight of the sandwich was the spicing of the breading which was a nice contrast to the mild fish complimented by the tarter sauce and fresh bun. There was nothing fancy here, but this was a very good perch sandwich. I noted that the dinners seemed a bit expensive, but they include 1/2 pound of the seafood with a choice of 2 sides and a roll and butter; there were some interesting sides including potato pancakes or cabbage and noodles. Overall Ardick was a nice spot for lunch, but I would probably not make a special trip, on the other hand if I am in the Lorain area will probably stop in again.
