On two separate occasions I have found plastic in my food. The first time I had a to go meal so I lodged a complaint via their website and received two free entrees. Occasion two, I dined in. The person in charge named Caleb asked if I would like a refund or my bowl remade. I declined because he showed no interest in finding out what ingredients I had in my bowl. They did not pull anything off the line to ensure that other food wasn't affected. Bottom line, I don't want a free meal I would like it not to contain plastic. Went there last night. Without a doubt, the worst location I have ever been at. The place was filthy, the employees do not clean up as they work. Food spillage everywhere. Very lethargic attitudes. Additionally, it appears that there is inconsistent portioning. Certain customers get very large portions while others are shortchanged?? We were searching for the meat in our bowls. If I wanted a rice bowl, I would have gone to an Asian restaurant. Management should do nighttime pop in visits. read more

This place is awful. I have ordered here the past couple times. The service sucks, product sucks. They run out of food. Today the burrito bowl i ordered was bland as heck, seemed like the person responsible for seasoning called off or something Barely had any meat in the bowl. Went there at 9pm tonight, they don't close for 2 hours but had no steak or queso and the rudest person at the counter helping me, I will drive before going to this location again and the is the 3rd time I have given them a chance. Definitely need to do better!!! read more

Gary K. from Woodbury, NJ couldn't have said it better. I went to this location after work this evening (4:30) , and it is by far the worst restaurant I have ever been in. The employees were very disrespectful. They huddled at the cashier end of the process line, and also in the back with the cooks, talking, laughing, and looking at their phones. They looked at me, but did not acknowledge me or come down to take my order. After about 10 minutes one employee came down (I thought to take my order) but then proceeded to tell a funny story to the cook behind the counter in front of me. Then after a few minutes of fooling around there, turned around to ask me "what do you want". Mind you, as I waited on them for almost 15 minutes, I noticed that none of the serving counters had been wiped down or cleaned at all that day (the whole place was filthy). The food in the warming trays they serve you from, appeared to be 2 days old (dried out meat, soggy, limp vegetables, etc.). Everything looked disgusting, and I thought "how could they pass health inspections". Reluctantly, I ordered a burrito to go. The serving of rice was at best 1/4 spoonful (shortchanged serving). Asked for chicken and was told it would be 15-20 minutes (they hadn't cooked it yet). Mind you, I had been standing at the counter to place my order that long already watching them play around. The only meat they had was the barbacoa meat and didn't look very good in the serving tray. Needless to say, I walked out and will never be returning. The store manager and the district/regional manger of this store should be reprimanded. This ruins the reputation of all Chipotle's. After this experience I doubt I will visit another one. And will be advising everyone I know not to go there as well. Trust you find this review helpful. read more

Absolutely terrible. After a workout to come inside and they don't have half of there menu items for walk ins but keep making new stuff for online order only is crazy. Didn't even give us as little as a drink for free after compromising my entire order even down to not getting chips. And to add on to that the guy at the counter ignored us for a solid 5 minutes doing god knows what and the cherry on top the whole eating area was filthy. HORRIBLE CHIPOTLE!!! I ordered through Door Dash twice tonight. Waited 2 hours and the dasher texted me they were having issues at the restaurant at the moment and canceled my order. So, I waited a little bit and ordered again. Dasher got to the top of my development and called too let us know Chipotle called them because half of the order was missing. That was a $46 order and I now have 2 starving little kids. Will NEVER use this Chipotle ever again. Off to Taco Bell I go!!! read more

The fact that Chipotle food was always a little different at each location was once a great differentiator but now it's just a source of uncertainty. The quality of food has dropped and the level of service offered by the 15-16 year olds who run the joint is quite awful. My GF and I visited Chipotle at least twice a month but we're done. My husband and I ate there tonight and I have to say, it was a great experience! For one, they were NOT in any way upset that we arrived 30min before closing. They all seemed very happy, laughing and joking. I didn't feel like we're hindering them or being a bother. Secondly, the woman that made our food, Shanice, REALLYYYYY knew how to pack it in there! She put soooo much of everything in my bowl and my husbands burrito! It was so good! They ended up weighing the burrito and it was 2lbs! THAT is a burrito! Everyone was very nice, the restaurant was clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves :) my husband couldn't finish his burrito, but i finished my food! Shanice (I'm sorry if I didn't spell it right!) has beautiful red hair, is very funny and nice, and knows how to make food people want to eat! read more

This place is absolutely horrible, worst Chipotle ever, gave me food poisoning, burrito was so damn small it looked like a chode, took insanely long, messed up my order, and asked for a little bit of cilantro and my burrito looked like a vegi wrap. I've never had bad bowel movements due to any sort of spicy/mexican food like some people get but after this place I've been on the toilet for 2 1/2 hours with a writhing pain in my stomach. Im from the Northeast and have been to countless Chipotles and NEVER have I been to a location this atrocious. This place sucks. read more

The customer service is crap, the employees always look miserable and you never get so much as a "Hello, what can I get for you today?", they stare at you until you tell them what you want and they are all horrible burrito rollers they always nearly rip mine in half and continue to serve it, so I just get the bowls now. The chicken is ALWAYS BURNT, so i have go for the steak now. I still come here twice a week or so because it's decent food that's right down the street from me. I can over look most of that treatment until last night. I run there before I go to work so I can have food for lunch. It was 9:15pm and as i was opening the door to walk in, and one of the employees ran up to the door and slammed it in my face, screeching at me that they were closed and locked it. Mind you, they don't close till 10pm. So I was furious and while walking back to my car I watched as they did it to a couple who was driving up behind me. They still had food because they were wrapping it up and taking it to the back. They were just too lazy to take care of a few more customers for the last hour of their shift. read more

I'm a first-timer at Chipotle (not just this location, but anywhere). I had high expectations because my nephews love it. Well, first of all the menu is very confusing and totally lacks explanation. The workers expected me to immediately know what I wanted, with no guidance or suggestions at all. The place wasn't even really busy, and yet I felt I was being rushed through the line by the person at each station like some auto assembly line. And I'm a decisive person...I don't linger in making my decisions. But this was ridiculous! Terrible service experience. I'll skip over to my critique of the actual food. Yuck! I got tacos, which sounded like a safe choice. To me, a taco should be a perfect mix of meat plus all of the lighter crispy stuff. Well these tacos were so loaded with meat up to the tops of the shells, they were only able to dot the top with a few measly lettuce shreds, tomato chunks, and a shred or two of cheese! Now I know some people love meat, but it was ridiculous! That to me does not a taco make. And the meat was horrible, although that was probably just my taste buds (I hate cumin and it was overpowering, and it was too spicy for me...again, I understand these are just my taste preferences). Finally, they were WAAAAY overpriced! Ten bucks for 3 tacos plus a drink...SHEESH! I could have stopped across the street and got one of Applebee's lovely Oriental Chicken Salads for the same price and been 100% happier. Bottom line is I will never be eating from there again. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it seemed clean to me and it's convenient. Whoopie. read more

I am a HUGE Chipotle fan but this store sucks. All the employees walk around as slow as possible and only 2 people work on the line most days I'm in there. This results in a very long line that moves VERY slow. Sometimes they forget to salt the rice and it's bland. Also, they gave me a burrito bowl a few times that had so much water in the bottom that I threw it away. I've never had any issues like this at other Chipotle stores but it seems like every time I come to this one something is off. I wish they would get it together because I find myself driving to other stores instead of this one which is much closer to my house. read more

Horrible. 30 minute wait in line, employees all have scowls on their faces, no hellos or polite "what can I get for you"s. No back ups for the prepared food, had to wait three separate times while they went in the back for another bin of salsa, then sour cream, then cheese. Chicken was so burnt, I had to pick every piece of it out of my burrito. Waited 3 minutes while cashier went in the back to "bag" our chips, then she said it would be a few more minutes while she wiped down a tray for us. Never again, Elyria. Absolute trash. Will drive the extra twenty minutes for ACTUAL customer service. read more

I understand that the goal is to get the customer through the food line QUICKLY, but they consistently get this wrong. They are trying to move so fast that they do not pay attention to the customer's order and like today, the employee working the register had ran my bill and given me change before my husband and I had even finished ordering. Bad. terrible customer service. They are doing themselves a disservice. Food was actually pretty decent today but the customer service was two thumbs down! Before i get played as the bad guy here, I will remember that next time when I get down to the register, I will refrain from handing employee any money before I am sure things are done right because today I learned that they are good at screwing it up. I have been to every Chipotle in the Greater Cleveland Area and have found none better than this one. I usually have so much trouble getting Chipotle crew members to wrap my burrito so it doesn't explode or leak sour cream (I have had a burrito that I tried to tell a crew member how to wrap who didn't listen and was rude explode through foil and bag and leak SC all over my front). The staff at this Chipotle know what they're doing are courteous and friendly, it is by far the best in Lorain and Cuyahoga county.
