Wow! Where has this been all my life? And to think I've wasted my time and money going to chipotle all these years when I could've been coming here for practically the same price with better quality and service? This is one of our favorite places to stop in at. We always order the steak fajitas. As of recent they service chile rellenos....my favorite. Another favorite of mine is the horchata. Drinks were ordered in a minute & the food came out in about 12 minutes. They had bogo lunch specials on a Sunday! They were mostly around 9-10$ each & portions were generous. The lunch fajitas were huge. Perfectly grilled veggies & steak. My chicken burrito w/ queso was so tasty. Their quesadilla was loaded and looked amazing. Burrito bowl was huge & chicken was delish. We stopped by the newish Las Margaritas in Avon Lake. There was no wait to get seated. All the staff was friendly and the food arrived quickly. Now for the food. I ordered a chimichanga which was a little more "saucey" than I prefer with some sort of cheese sauce, but overall decent. I also tried the chicken quesadilla which was good but the flavor for spices was slightly less than what I was used to. Unfortunately they do not have alcohol yet, which we were alerted of upon entering. I would love a chance to actually try what they are names for. We will come back once the margs are available. Being from Arizona, we love the food at Las Margaritas! It reminds us of home, minus the late night hours They are generous with the protein, unlike most food establishments. My tacos were LOADED with shrimp. I was also excited to see that they serve Elote! It was so good! I'm a pescatarian, so it's nice to see that they have vegan chorizo for if I want a basic taco. I saw in another review that the beans are not vegan, so I'll be avoiding those. I hope during the holidays they will release more varieties of tamales like green chili and cheese. Since moving back, finally found a very good huevos rancheros along with pastor tacos along with Horchata!!! Next time going to ask if they can crisp up the pastor and be perfect!! Service was awesome: food put on a cart and helped to load in the car. Everything was so fresh and delicious and the amount of food was very generous. But what made me write this review is their incredibly customer service, recently had a city wide power outage and needed to find food somewhere, placed the order online, everything was fine. 5 minutes later I receive an error in the email as their electricity was out ALSO. I called the number and (I believe) the owner himself answered. Immediately he came up with a solution where I could send him the screenshots of the order and they will make it immediately as they still had food because the power had just recently gone out. They made the food in the dark and thanked us multiple times. All in all a phenomenal experience which to me is priceless with a food organization. The food was decent, service was friendly and super efficient, and the decor is really very nice, especially for a Mexican restaurant where decor tends to be a little tacky at most. Sort of a "Mexican chic" feel for decor. I had no complaints at all. The buy one, get one deal can't be beat so I wonder how long that will continue. It wasn't a problem for me, but they do not have a liquor license. They should probably change the name of the restaurant accordingly. read more
