I miss shopping at this location . I used to live across the way and always shopped here. I ordered rotisserie chickens once a week for many years. Always cooked to perfection, always called and was treated nice on the phone and in person. I would call and ask the deli clerk to put aside 2 chickens for me from the last batch of the day. Never had an issue. Always perfect transactions and courteous clerks even when busy or short staffed. I moved and now live closer to the Raleys on Foothills...and they are no comparison. I would rather go out of my way for these perfectly cooked chickens to serve my family a nice meal. Great customer service too. WORST BLUEBERRIES. Just had to find a way to give feedback. The blueberries I bought last week labeled "grown in Georgia" were the worst of any I've ever had (and thats a lot!). They tasted like soap. I threw the 16 oz cart out, and they cost $$$$. Please take a taste of what you are selling and try for a better source. read more

I read these reviews and many have the same complaint and Raleys response to these customer complaints is robotic. Nothing has changed the store might as well be going out of business it's dirty, low inventory stock and what's on the shelves much is out dated or close to it. The service at the meat counter was horrible. Shopping on Father's Day Sunday, 9am and asked for assistance. It was a very simple request about the Tri Tip that was on special. The employee was clearly annoyed I asked for help and proceeded to display aggressive behavior, throwing doors open, almost hitting another customer. I still thanked him, which he ignored me, and that's when I'd had enough rude treatment. I stooped to his level and made a snide comment. I'm so tired of crappy customer service and today was a tipping point. Not likely I'll shop at the Bel Air in Auburn EVER again. I can make my point with my buying habits. This location use to be good but the last year or so it has gone downhill. My husband asked for help finding a seasoning packet. The young gal looked briefly and said " we must be out " My husband called and I said keep looking , its probably there. He did and it was. Then he ordered deli sandwiches for us said no tomatoes and pleas add onions . Got home , no onions but there was tomatoes . The bread was so stale it fell apart. Probably won't be going back here. Also, the deli potato salad was the weirdest we have ever had, the potatoes were not cooked and the eggs were randomly sliced, not diced. no seasoning, no flavor. read more

The store is in major need of a facelift! The mood in the store is almost gloomy and stale. The Employees seem to be too busy talking and standing around to help out. This location is the one I frequent on my way home from the office. Although I have one in my neighborhood, I actually enjoy coming to this one better. It might be because of the neighborhood (I live in S. Natomas, so you can see some ghetto stuff in & around there), or maybe cuz it's a newer store, but I mostly think it's the way it's setup. I really like how the produce section is right in the middle of the store, near all the cash register lines. It feels so open & airy, I just love it. I also find the employees here are, dare I say, nicer? No, more like friendlier & more willing to help me. My last encounter in this store was at the meat counter where I was looking for help in determining what type of cut was needed for a roast I was planning to cook in the crockpot. Lord, I wish I could remember the lady's name....it was something unique, that's for sure! But she was so kind & helpful, and encouraging after I told her it would be my first attempt at cooking the thing. LOL Anyways, this Raley's is definitely a place I enjoy grocery shopping at. We all know sometimes, it's just not enjoyable, but I've never found that to be the case here. & Of course I'm part of their Something Extra program, which I absolutely LOVE!!! We used to really like shopping at this Roseville - Douglas Blvd location, but it has really gone downhill over the past few months. We try to shop local and support family businesses, so even though this store has so many things that are not desirable, we kept trying to overlook them and kept returning. No more!! Expired cold items, meat items, and many other grocery items have become more and more common. Produce selection lacks horribly and many of the packaged produce items have expiration dates that are on the same day or the following day. Anytime we write in using the scan link at the registers, we get No response. Talking to any of the managers or employees regarding out of stock or expired items is like talking to a wall, they pass us off like they are hoping we'll just go away. There are many other grocery stores near and around this Raley's - Roseville Douglas Blvd location .... My strong suggestion is that you shop at one of those instead of being frustrated and disappointed shopping here. read more

Love this Raley's stores friendly service. We are also very pleased with the produce and meat departments variety of choices. If we've ever had a problem or issue , which is bound to happen from time to time, it has always been resolved quickly and to our complete satisfaction. We use the grocery delivery service at least 2-3 times a month. Very happy with this Raley's from the meat department to produce. I'm sure in time we will use this service even more. read more

Raley;s is sort of caught in the middle. I think they are lacking in identity right now. They used to be so busy , but the big box stores took away customers. They are like a comfortable pair of shoes though. Reliable. They have a pretty good health food section and I like the cosmetic and lotions they stock. I sopped in really early in the morning around 6am to pick up some medicine for my kids. Of course it was easy to get parking and nobody in the lines. I found the medicine in the back of the store and quickly made my way to the checkout. I paid for the medicine and opened it up when I got back to the car. It was nice this pace was open early and I even think it is 24 hours because most of the other drug stores in the area were not open around this time. read more

I want to shout out to the Deli team for an amazing experience with a catering order on January 22, 2022. Kim went out of her way to be sure I had the items I requested for my order (thank you so much Kim!), when I picked up my order, Tyler made sure I had everything I'd ordered and even ran to get me another cart and helped me to my car as well, when he discovered that the ice I'd purchased had a huge hole, he ran back inside and exchanged it for me (Thank you Tyler!) There were two others that were great at their jobs, the employee that helped me decide what to order and even gave me samples to try - very helpful! Also the sweet girl who also made the sandwiches I'd ordered - she did a beautiful job and the platters looked amazing! At the baby shower, I got nothing but great compliments about the sandwiches and salads - so glad I went with Raley's! It's wonderful when people take pride in their work and that was apparent every step of the way! Also, I talked to 3 different people in the Floral department - first Gabe who had a great helpful personality and since she was going to be off when I brought my balloons in, she made sure that her team knew I was coming - the two sweet girls I spoke with after that - one when I dropped off my balloons on Thursday and the girl I picked them up from on Saturday were both so kind and helpful! The girl on Saturday even helped me take two huge bags of balloons to my car! Such a great experience overall with this store!!! Please be sure that those I mentioned know how much I appreciated them doing their jobs so well and they all deserve recognition! Way to go Raley's in Roseville! read more

I walk into Raleys in Roseville on Douglas today, see a Specials sign...avocados for 97 cents apiece, if you're a member, which I am. At checkout, rung up at 1.99...when I complain, told that I would had to do the online digital selection of the avocado before entering the store to get the lower price. This was not mentioned on the display. Seems like bait and switch to me. They seem now to have two clubs...the regular one where you show your membership card or enter your phone number, and another one where you pre-select even better deals via internet before shopping. I think they do this knowing that most will not take the time to do this....it allows them to display avocados, for instance, at 97 cents when they know only a small percentage of people will have prepared for this before entering Raleys. They also know that most will not notice they were charged the higher price until after they've left the check stand. Maybe this should be part of the 'Raleys Story'...how Raleys does not honor the posted sale price, and, makes the customer feel like he's the one who screwed up. read more

I have done my weekly full-cart shopping and they have never not had something on my list. Placed my first delivery order and it was supposed to be delivered between 6-7pm. I called the store15 minutes after the order should have been delivered and the guy I spoke to wasn't sure about the status of my order. He kept me on hold for a few minutes and then tells me it has left the store, but he would call the carrier to get an eta. Several minutes later, another employee calls and apologizes for the delay in delivery and says the order it just being finalized. So it has not left the store yet and it was 7:36. Also, the lady that was finalizing the order couldn't give me an eta. Still no groceries and I've been waiting 50 minutes past delivery time. Pretty disappointed. read more

I've been in this Raley's 3 times and each experience was worse than the other. The staff are so rude, if they even bother to acknowledge you. I had a situation where I dropped a lottery ticket (unscratched) in between their wood chip pile and couldn't get it out. When I asked for help, the staff was so annoyed. The woman even asked me "how much is the ticket" like I should just let it go. But the worst experience happened in the bakery around 7:00 p.m. I wanted a little cake for my co-workers bday so I walked up to the case. The, HORRIBLE woman behind the counter was doing some busy work a few feet away from the case. She looked up at me and then just looked back down without saying anything. So I asked, are you open for me to get something out of the case? She rudely said yes, but continued to do whatever she was doing several feet away. NOT ONCE did she walk over to the case to help me find something. I even asked her what something was in the case and she said, "what does it look like", again without even walking over. I then asked if she had any other cakes back there and she told me to go find something in the pre packaged area. I wish I would have taken a video of the situation because it was unbelievable. I honestly felt like someone was playing a joke on me. I have NEVER been treated so poorly by anyone. And it wasn't even like she was busy. There was NOBODY else around. Truly upsetting. Needless to say I drove over to Safeway on Sunrise. The bakery woman was actually shutting down but turned everything back on to help me find a cake from the case. Raley's is banned for me now, at least that location. Unfortunate because I'm in that shopping area several times a week for class. read more

Have shopped at this store for years. Store is clean well stocked and staff is helpful. Placed my first e cart order yesterday and was thrilled with how easy the web site was to use. I payed with my debit card when I checked out. THe order was ready when I arrived at my scheduled pick up time and the employee who brought my grocery's our was helpful and friendly. I was so pleased with the entire process I tipped the man well. When I checked my account this morning I was suprised to find that my charge for my purchase $255.00 and it went through yesterday and this morning a pre authorized hold was placed on my checking account for the amount of the bill plus a 15% service hold of $285.00. I called raleys and was told by the e cart department that they couldn't help me and I would have to call their service center. When I spoke with the rep at the service department I was informed with a very rude condescending tone that the preauthorized credit cards hold is listed in the fine print along with the additional preautorized hold for 15%. The woman was rude unhelpful and condescending that essentially it was my fault that my card was charged twice because it's in the fine print!! If I purchase something online at target they put a preauthorized hold on your card until you pick up your items. They dont charge your card and then the following day place a hold plus 15% of your purchase after you already paid in full and picked up your purchase. WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I am a single mother. I don't have excess in my account after I pay bills and food. The "process" as the service rep called it caused my account to go negative and instead of apologizing and recognizing that there is clearly a flaw in there billing process she blamed me was rude and unprofessional. On average I spend anywhere from $600-$800 a month on grocery's here and after this terrible customer service experiance I will NEVER shop at Raleys again!! I will go out of my way to tell everyone that their "Family of fine store" does not care about your family and could care less about the stress and the trouble caused by their flawed online system. Tonight I stopped by because they're the only place I can find Rebel ice cream in pb chocolate & there was one cashier with an ENORMOUS line--like ridiculous line! So another cashier with his light off, Bryce, begrudgingly helped a couple customers. He was so rude to the woman in front of us. I was shocked. Went in and showed bakery staff the kind of smash cake I wanted. They assured me it would be much larger then a cupcake. Day of birthday came to get the TWO I ordered and this is the crap I got!! Poorly decorated and literally a small cupcake! Spoke with manager who offered to give me $8 I spent, but it's not the money. It's the fact they lied and then did a horrible job decorating.
