Trader Joe's Roseville Square was the first TJ in the Roseville area. Located in the Roseville Square complex with a lot of parkings available. I always make it a point to try other TJ location as often times they have different availability. In times when the most coveted mini tote bags are on sale, this location never fail me on the Friday after the tote bags were released. But for that mini stripes, the line was ridiculously long. Staff have always been attentive and nice. They may not have a wide selection of meat, vegetables and everything else but they have what I need all the time. They have a good and very nice selection of floral bouquets, fruits are always fresh and crisp. I just love Trader Joes! I do enjoy coming to Trader Joe's for food! I love their salmon and filet mignon! And their frozen foods section is super intriguing! You can shop down this aisle, with the freezer section on both sides of you and you pretty much end up with some type of cuisine from around the world! I bought some daffodils at $2.89 a bunch. They were all still closed and waiting to be brought home. I ended up buying 4 bunches so I can give some to my daughter and some to my client. Trader Joe's also has unique floral arrangements that you don't normally find at regular grocery stores. Within 24 hours, maybe less, they were opening up and had that beautiful bright yellow they daffodils are known for. I love buying quite a few bunches so that it looks fuller in the vase! As much as I loved these flowers, they didn't last more than a few days. At both my house and my clients, these were tossed by the end of the week (I bought them on a Sunday.) Although I bought them at such a good price, I would still love for flowers to last a bit longer, not than less than a week.. (When I buy them at Safeway, they last 2 weeks!) I also bought myself a string of pearls (A SUCCULENT!!!!!) In the right hands, that baby can grow long and strong! I'll keep you updated on that one if you like! Service is always the best here. Located in a shopping center, this is a very nice Trader Joe's, for those looking for trader Joe's tote bags this is your place!! I spoke with an employee for about 10 minutes "just about life, nothing else" while talking with her, she said that they don't sell lots of the bags like down south at this location, Needless to say the employees are very friendly "and they got tons of their specialty tote bags" As far as the shopping experience, I did some things at this location that we do not have at our locations in San Jose. I was in the area again for appointments. Stopped in for a few things. I really like their olive oil potato chips. I like them more then I thought I would. Don't shop hungry I hear it all the time. So many things look so yummy here. I got another snack item their antipasto stick Prosciutto wrapped in mozzarella cheese. They sell one in pack perfect little quick snack..most places sell in larger packs. Sometimes I just want one or two. Today I noticed they had a small chocolate chip cookie bag. Another yummy snack item. Sold out of their tote bags again. I will never get a mini tote bag I guess. read more

I love this Trader Joes - it has a little dog and cat corner near the pet food with photos of the pets of workers and regulars. All sorts of cute cuddly creatures are photographed on the the board toward the back. My heart melted when I saw this older black cat with white little paws. He looked adorable. Cats and dogs - and all the reasons I like to hang on the internet. Love it love it. Never saw a TJs before with a pet wall - and I've been to many. I got my little kitty Mr. Moose some treats. He loves his treats. He goes crazy for them as if they had cat nip. He knows where I store them in the pantry and he keeps pawing at the door when he wants some. A few times already he likes to take his pay and push the door - while wedging his nose in to pry it open. I keep the treats up high otherwise I know he would overeat and then get a stomach ache. Mr Moose follows his nose and these treats smell really good - just like real chicken. Can't wait to go back to TJs and get more pet treats. read more

I was running errands and saw this Trader Joe's and decided to stop in for some essentials. The parking lot is large, but very busy and some of the spots are really tight. Definitely watch out for pedestrians and for other cars when you're parking and leaving. We have some items we love to get here like cheese sticks, white corn, couscous, and pasta. I was able to grab all of these and found them easily in the areas I'm familiar with from other locations. I also ended up grabbing a few random items that peaked my interest and when my hand-basket was full I headed to the checkout. The team member was really friendly and we made small talk during check out. They also bagged my items and made sure the bags wouldn't be too heavy. There's so many reasons why this is my favorite Trader Joe's location...their customer service is the top one! As I was standing in an aisle, apparently looking sad because the product I came for was out of stock , an employee who was stocking shelves down the aisle noticed and asked what I was looking for. When I told her, she stopped what she was doing and ran and checked the computer to see if my item happened to come on the recent shipment...next thing I know, she disappeared in the back and emerged with an entire box! I did not ask for help, she proactively decided she was going to check in and then go above and beyond to make my visit great. This is a spacious TJ's, located in a strip mall, with ample parking. I could spend a good hour in here in the snacks section alone! The only thing missing were the little signature (spring) tote bags that officially disappear this month (May 2025). I absolutely love this trader Joe's so much mostly because of the customer service. Everyone (the workers) that I have encountered are super nice and always helpful. I just wanted to drop by to pick up salad dressing and mangos for my lunch and ended up getting more than I intended which is the usual anytime I go to TJ. I was waiting to get checked out and another cashier (Teyana) opened up her register and grabbed my basket and said that she'd check me out. She's so sweet and tried to spark a conversation. This is my absolute favorite location for Trader Joe's. The staff is always wonderful and friendly. The only thing that upsets me is when they are out of their hash-browns You would think they had gold in them or something because they fly out of the freezer case so fast. I bought 5 today, because I'm not missing out again! I mean 10 hash-browns for almost half the price of 1 McDonald's Hash-brown. That my friends is insane! And they only have like 3 ingredients. Also!! They have an amazing selection of gluten free products for my son at reasonable prices. Trader Joe's doesn't hide gluten in ingredients like natural flavors or yeast extracts. We were on our way to visit friends and needed to pick up a dessert. There was less desserts then we had hoped for. We ended up picking up a Chocolate Brooklyn Babka. It was very moist and tasty. Not too sweet. We also got 2 strawberry Rhubarb hand pies for our friend that can't have chocolate. I didn't have any, but was told they were very good. How busy it gets and how chaotic the parking lot is is not in control of the employees. The things that ARE in their control are well managed. Always stocked and consistently have quality products. I love that i can buy small amounts of things and not costco sized value packs. Though the products themselves might be more expensive, I can buy LESS of it (charcuterie board items, for example.) It was absolute chaos with customers buzzing around the store. However, all million and ine checkstands they had were open with efficient and friendly employees. My anxiety left as soon as the checker kindly smiled at me, "are you ready to check out?" shortly after I walked up. Thank you Trader Joe's!! read more

There's only two handicap parking places, which is important to know if your handicapped. I tried to arrive 30 minutes before they open so that I can get one of them. Just food for thought. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful to me and they have a good selection of items. They tend to run out of certain things quicker than other Trader Joe's I've been in, but they have a lot of traffic in there. read more

My wife and I did our shopping here early on a Saturday morning and not only was the store clean and fully stocked, but we received fantastic service from our bagger, Lyss. She was so friendly and personable throughout the entire transaction. She noticed we purchased some pickles and asked if we like spicy food, which we do, and she through in a free jar of spicy pickles for us to try! I usually have a great experience at Trader Joes because their customer service is always great. I came from out of town to visit my family and came here to get some snacks and found a nice seasonal cooler bag. At checkout, the employee didn't say a word and then when we my family and I brought the bag, she yanked the tag right off as it was in my sister's hands to scan the price instead of just bringing the bag to the scanner. Then, she didn't even ask if we needed a bag for all the other stuff we bought. My family and I were kinda surprised at her service compared to all the other times we've been to Trader Joes. Use to love coming here, but Friday had a bad experience with a cashier. Came to do some shopping with my son and daughter. Usually when she finds the train the cashier will give stickers and a sucker for a prize. When she told the cashier the cashier didn't acknowledge her. So when my sister asked the cashier she said oh that's just something for the kids to do while the parents shop . Eventually she eventually gave a few stickers and said to share it with her brother after we asked for it. Also, we had two separate transactions. When my sister pulled out the area to put the basket the cashier rudely pushed it back in. She then asked is there two transactions we said yes then she pulled it back out and put a basket in the shelf. She was just rude and I can't help but feel this was discrimination. Thid store is amazing from the food to the flowers to coworkers, beautiful people everybody's so kind and there is plenty of plants you can find plans for 1299 B Monteras and succulents for 499 really beautiful ones I like the ambience music and the great thing about getting flowers here that I do get weekly for a centerpiece at church is that if in case the flowers die before five days, you can return them or get your refund. COVID Review: I LOVE Trader Joe's! I love that they require that everyone wear masks while we continue to fight COVID. I like that they disinfect carts, I like how they have markers inside the store to ensure 6 ft distance, I love how they take care of their staff and provide safety precautions for them at the work place. I especially like that they reduce the amount of shoppers when needed. The only qualm I have is the tight parking situation at this location. Other than that, I'll be back!!! read more

I have never left a review for a grocery store ! But the staff on 1/12 was amazing. My son has special needs and it's sooo hard to shop with him because of mobility issues. This Trader Joe's has a cart that he can fit in (he is 10 years old) and I can shop efficiently! It's so nice to be able to shop more easily , it made the whole experience 100% better. Not to mention every staff member was sweet to both my kids! It's a breath of fresh air when a place goes above and beyond to make your experience wonderful! I love Trader Joe's. I was excited to move back to mainland because of TJs. I read an article that Costco, Whole Foods, and TJ are the best stores with the most effective anti-corona procedure....Great! I headed to the store before it opened and was able to get in the store less than 15min. I saw an employee spraying the carts, the nice greeter had a face shield on, and the store was not crowded because of the entry control. So far so good. Then I realize they do not require masks for customers (which seems the norm in this area), or even the employees. I heard one female customer coughing super loud and not even covering herself at all....Yea real nice. Upon checkout, the cashier (young guy with glasses and long wavy hair) told us we cannot use our reuseable bag....I said okay. Then he went on making a long speech about why we cannot and how the store is following what the county and the CDC says.....WITHOUT A MASK. It seems to me, the level of caution varies very much on each employee. As a pregnant woman in the third trimester, I am very careful not being exposed to the virus. What I saw in the store after reading how TJ takes the most precautions toward the virus, was just disappointing honestly. read more
