I went into Raley to try their Chinese food for lunch and it was a disappointment. Their food looks as though it was out their for days all dried up. Beef and broccoli was more like beef steak and broccoli with the steak being super dry. As for their Peking pork, they should name it Peking pork fat because that's all you'll get. Interesting thing happened at Raley's in Lincoln to day. I purchased the turkey from the deli, that I thought was on sale. approx. $5.49 a lb. I pointed to the sign and said give me the sale priced turkey. When I checked out, I saw that they charged me the full price of $11.00+ so I talked to the manager and he said "you have the better turkey, the one on sale is full of fillers with only 20% turkey. You don't want that cheap turkey. You wouldn't want to eat that. I guarantee you'll be happier with this turkey".. I can exchange for you but you really won't be happy with it. I was fuming. since when does Raley's have something on sale that is so inferior. I guess in the future I'll have to ask why the product is on sale. PS Raleys, no need to come back with a condescending remark about how you will inform management about the deli or treatment by the manager. Evidently you say the same remark to everyone that complains and it really doesn't mean much when you think this will make things better. Correct the situation that is all we want. read more

Bakery was unsatisfying, I ordered a personal cake three days before my pick up order, they called an hour before my pick up time, and told me they didn't have what I ordered, so I went in to get another one. I asked if she could out a strawberry one top she gave me the tinest one and threw it on the side, don't think I'll be going to that bakery again. read more

Let me just start by saying if i could give ZERO stars, I would. There have never been two employee who have treated a customer worse. Derek and Regina have to take the rude cake. When I walked up, Regina was talking to another employee about some drama that was going on with someone.. they saw me standing there and Regina reluctantly acknowledged me and yelled for Derek to help (there were no other customers) but she needed to finish her story. I asked for smoked turkey and she rudely interject - we don't have that - i again asked is there some in the case? Nope and rolled her eyes. Derek proceeded to make my sandwich with the most contempt one could ask to have (i have pictures). I asked a question to which he did not respond but grunted in response. I want to like shopping at this Raleys. It's conveniently located, the staff are friendly, and the remodel looks great. However, I leave this store every trip disappointed in the quality of their products, especially in the produce department. I have never been to a store that displayed such horrible produce. It takes me forever to shop for my produce because I'm forced to pick through piles of sub par produce to find one or two that are edible. On multiple occasions they have had moldy avocados, potatoes, bell peppers and basil. Things are always overripe to the point of being mushy and the rest is usually bruised or damaged in some way. They also run out of a lot of staple produce items and I'm forced to make a second trip to another grocery store. BEWARE of code dates at this location. I can't trust this location to pull product that is expired, I have found humus, won ton wrappers, and prepackaged pomegranates that were all expired for over five days. I write this review in hopes that it shines a light on the glaring quality issues so that they can improve. Please fix this produce department! read more

I have to say this Raley's is one of the better ones in the Sacramento area. A bonus to this store is that it is almost done with its full face lift. Everything already looks new and clean! I have to say this store does help a lot as its in an older persons community. I live just outside of that area and it seems like they are very accommodating. My next task is to use the E-cart shop and pick up. I have heard good things about it from the store. This Raley's is also great as they do not charge you for the paper bags or plastic. It a huge plus to the elder community as they tend to forget their bags, but to be honest I always do too. So this also a big help to me! Lastly, They make "da bomb" sandwiches. Every time they are better and better. Not sure if its the fresh sliced meat or fresh produce, but they are good. Also on the salami 12 inch, they put a half pound of meat alone, YES that much! I went to Raleys to get the BBQ Tri Tip Panini. The tri tip is cut right in front of you. I love the tri tip sandwich. They also have a big selection of sandwiches. You can also get it as a meal with a selection of sides and drinks. The employees are friendly. The service is also fast. read more

As Far as grocery stores go, this is one of the best. It's all clean inside and seems organized. What I like is the deli and hot foods section. The fried chicken here is the bomb! $8.95 for an 8 piece bag of hot crispy chicken, can't best that! There's also a big variety of Chinese food ready to eat that they make right here. The staff are really friendly, they even have people walking around, just to help you find stuff. Peets, Coffee is in the store too, so that's a good option if you need a fix. Service is what I see here as a cut above most supermarkets, and they have bags too! Not like other parts of CA where grocery bags are banned or you have to pay for them. read more

I have been impressed by the service I have received at the Raley's in Lincoln, CA. Just last week I had a very positive experience - two great examples of a real "focus on the customer". First, I was in the deli section working with a lady behind the counter. I had requested a food item at an approximate weight. My choice was dished out and packaged. Then, the store clerk said "wait a minute" and quickly walked with my salad from the deli to a nearby refrigerated display case. She then said "I thought so" and handed me what she found in the display case. It was exactly what I had requested from the deli counter only it was almost $1.50 less - same weight and packaged that day. Nice, honest service! Then just "after I paid" my grocery bill, the check-out clerk said wait a minute. She pulled back a food item, pulled off a coupon which I never noticed and said, we owe you money. I am updating my rating because since they remodeled thus store and staff has gone all checkout and half the stire is empty. I went in last Monday at 100 pm and no red meat and no one could leave a note on the freezer door. I also needed help finding and item and I saw the manager joking around with the self checkout clerk and he couldn't be bothered to stop gossiping to help me ...the whole atmosphere in the store is unhappy, unhealthy and dont want to be bothered by the customer. I've always gone to raleys for my kids bday cakes. Today I pick up my sons cupcake cake to find basic cupcakes arranged in shape of a 4. I was so upset and the price tag on it was $36.99! We were already running late so I took it refused to pay 36.99 for some basic ass cupcakes I could've arranged in the shape of a 4 myself. The baker said..so do you want them or not. Like a bitch...like I had no right to be upset. The man was apologizing and said he would adjust the price and give me a discount for me not getting at all what I ordered..Which I did not receive an extra discount. It's like I went in and bought already made cupcakes. Guess I have to find a new place to order my cakes from bc this new decorater is careless. I love Raleys, hands down. But what sets Raleys in Lincoln apart is their Awesome Bakery Staff. They make the cutest Cakes and Cupcake creations, and they taste Heavenly. Jeannie is one of their decorators and has yet to disappoint. I have taken in some challenging ideas & pictures, and she not only greets me with a smile, she is as excited as I am about making something wonderful for my event, and they are always the highlight of our partys. I will not be coming back to this store especially their meat department section. Two weeks ago they had a sale for whole Foster Farms chicken for $.77/lb. The sale starts on a Wednesday, I came in on a Friday and they were out. The person behind the counter told a lady in front of me to get a rain check in customer service. The butcher department is awful. In particular , the guy with the mustache and glasses . He is so rude and has no idea what customer service is . My wife stood nearly 10 minutes while he was chatting away from his department . When my wife rang the bell , he simply said I'll be there in just bit smugly . My wife and I just left and informed the manager we will buy our meat somewhere else . This so called "butcher" needs to find a new line of business . First I ordered a Seahawks cake and the. Color came out orange and purple. Next they left a " fresh strawberry on the counter overnight. When I told them it looked old she admitted it had been sitting out of refrigeration since the previous day. We were without a cake for our party and I ended up getting donuts. Multiple expired food items here. Realized a few meat products that had been expired for over a week when I got home, had to return them. Seafood is horrible do not buy it from here. I got ROTTEN shrimp from them after specifically asking when they came in and staff said that morning. Also got Dead muscles after asking for them to check them before putting in my bag apparently staff does not know what a dead muscle looks like...Complained to management with no response or action on thier part. I do not shop here because of multiple bad food experiences. Go to Safeway or Roseville and save your money. I want to say a huge congratulations to Raleys in Lincoln! They just completed a remodel which looks great! I was so impressed every time I went into the store during the remodel, the staff was so helpful and happy, doing everything they could while the store isles were being moved around and updates were taking place, to make sure you still had a positive shopping experience. I love that they know you when you come in almost like old friends. They are eager to help and alway check on you if you seem like you could be lost. Customer service is so very important and is lacking in our fast paced, technology driven society, but not at Raleys in Lincoln, they not only pay attention but they really seem to care. You feel valued when they empty the cart for you at the check out stand, get big gas discounts and load your car with your groceries, try getting that at the big chain stores. I used to go to other grocery stores because I thought this store was too expensive, but I've compared prices and only a few items are slightly higher and others are lower. I really like that we get gas coupons when we spend a certain amount. The management and staff are super friendly and helpful. One time my bill was really expensive, the manager checking me out said, "let me make sure I didn't make any mistakes, I don't want you overcharged".
