Gorgeous new store, as Nugget Markets tend to be. It's currently out there all alone (with the surrounding businesses not yet open), so make it a point to stop in and say hello! I had a great experience with a staff member yesterday named Robert. I was looking for a very specific item, and Robert was up for an adventure in search of it. We went all Carmen Sandiego around the joint and eventually found it! I completely uprooted Robert from what he was doing (stocking the refrigerated dairy case at the far end of the store), and he was so gracious about it. He was helpful, patient, and genuinely seemed happy to help me track down my elusive item. Great customer service! read more

Can't escape the bakery section without something wonderful! There are so many delightful treats from the very healthy to terribly decadent. read more

Talk about fancy! Three months in and everything is still super neat and organized. We're particularly fond of the hot foods and deli department. Whenever we're trying to get a quick bite to eat or I need something to pack for a work lunch while I feel too lazy to cook, the food keeps me in line with trying to eat fresher. The staff working the coffee and tea bar and along that whole pizza/bakery/premade meal wall have been so friendly. We love to come here and haven't been disappointed, yet. read more

I visited during the grand opening, and it was such a great experience. The store is beautiful, well organized, and has an amazing selection of fresh, high-quality products. They even handed out generous goodie bags filled with samples and local products, which was a really thoughtful touch. One of my favorite features is the outdoor seating area--it's a perfect place to enjoy lunch with a great view. The staff was welcoming, and the entire store has a warm, inviting atmosphere. Nugget has quickly become my favorite grocery store in the area, and I always enjoy shopping here. read more

This brand new beautiful Nugget Market opened by the Whitney Ranch Parkway Highway 65 exit and University Ave in Rocklin. The samples during opening weekend were wonderful. The Mishima Reserve Wagyu Beef New York Steak was so delectable with its marbling. It's like $45 per lb for this premium meat. Caramel Popcorn, Tempura Shrimp Sushi Roll, and Sprecher Root Beer and Cherry Cola were all yummy. However, my favorite stand (and it's still giving out samples) is the cheese table in the deli section. You might get a taste of pate, hard and soft cheeses, crackers, bread, or fruit jams, like fig or cherry. I've been tempted into buying delicious fancy cheeses too often these days! Deli section foods are a bit pricey. My favorite prepared salad is the Harvest Salad with the yams. $10 for a prepackaged salad meant to serve 2. The shrimp, imitation crab, cucumber, carrots, and avocado rolls are OK, but I would rather order from restaurant. I didn't care for the California Roll, which had a medicinal or preservative aftertaste to it. The berry smoothie was OK, but I probably should just make smoothies at home given they cost $9 and more. Nugget has the most enticing cakes on display. Princess Cake is my favorite. While probably not an authentic Mexican recipe or preparation, I also like the Tres Leches Cake. Nugget is where you go to find beautiful, fresh, organic produce, high quality butchered meats, and difficult to find or unusual items (i.e., spices, guanciale, duck, bison, elk, fancy mushrooms). Service is friendly and helpful. read more

At first it looked like it was gnna be a great place to start shopping since it's much closer to home. All of a sudden the salad bar is trash .. meaning empty and never refilled on a daily. And yes I come often to check and there's no improvement. Finally one there was a day they restock on the Salad and got excited for nothing . The ran outta my dressing and say d it's been a few days or so already. Well someone needs to be on their job and make sure it's always stock I feel like. It's very new and already lack in service read more

Grocery shopping at this store makes me feel like I'm in Disneyland??? It must be the layout of the store or the vast collection of merchandise that is just amazing. There's also a wide array of bread and pastries that look so delectable. We tried the açaí bowl and it was so delicious! We like coming here for the wide selection of preps chicken that we love to throw in the grill! The staff is super friendly and helpful, ask them anything! Now just be aware, this store is not cheap, so bring your dollars but it is so worth it!!!! A must visit!!! read more

Love that this nugget is open and so close to me! The interior is nicely decorated and they have a second floor lounge with indoor and outdoor seating area. I took photos of the deli menu and ordered their firecracker sandwich which was delicious. Workers are always so friendly but be prepared for a 20 minute wait on sandwiches if you go during peak lunch hours. read more

Beautiful store. Very, very similar to Blue Oaks, just a tad nicer with the new store feel. Friendly employees as is expected with Nugget. Great selection as usual as well. Only complaint is the breakfast burritos were noticeably smaller than Blue Oaks. When I opened it up the tortilla was kind of loose too like there wasn't enough filling (all of them looked pretty small too, not just the one I got). So whoever is stuffing those burritos has got to have a heavier hand. Besides that, impressed as always with their stores. read more

I come here for a quick lunch on my breaks. Fresh soups, sushi, pizza, meat and sides. They have a cute dining area upstairs (with elevator access). Smoothies made to order are also delicious. Aside from hot fresh meals, they also have refrigerated prepper meals you can take or warm up there. Stay away from the bakery unless you want to become addicted to their delicious treats. Cheesecake is AMAZING! Employees are friendly, and quick to help. read more

Absolutely beautiful store. The Nugget is officially my new neighborhood go-to. Everything is super clean, well-stocked, and honestly just feels a lot nicer than your typical grocery store. The produce looks great, the prepared food actually looks worth trying, and there are way too many things that end up in your cart that you didn't plan on getting. They also have an upstairs area with a balcony where you can sit and eat, which is such a cool touch. I have a feeling this is going to be one of those places we end up spending more time than expected... not just grocery shopping. And the staff was so kind! Such a great addition to our neighborhood. read more

Went the opening week and boy what a cluster - there's only one entrance/exit, which was bottlenecked with people with carts trying to get in and out. I love the Roseville Nugget and fully expected it would have the same layout as that store, with two sets of doors, but alas, no. This one is closer to home, but I may continue to make the trek to Pleasant Grove simply for convenience. They had the absolute best chocolate chip cookies for the first few weeks of opening. Soft, chewy, sprinkled with a little salt - at $4 a cookie - but absolutely wonderful. Not sure what happened but I went in today and all they had were burnt cookies. I asked her if they had any in the back that weren't as burnt and the gal at the counter went back to take a look, but came back saying the ones in the back were just "as brown". I'd call them burnt. I only bought some because my daughter was craving them, but I told them if they were ever that burned again I wouldn't. **edit** they tasted as bad as they looked. A total waste of money. :-( Overall, nice specialty items but the layout is cumbersome. read more

Went to the grand opening today around 11:30 am and it was packed as expected but man, did they have some fun and generous freebies! Whole turkey legs from Diestel, steak samples, hot dogs, burgers, flowers. The crew did an amazing job for how many people were there. It sounds like the after school crowd later in the day may have added to the chaos, but given how busy they already were before then, I think these workers were at capacity and did as good of a job as they possibly could. The store director Angel was outside greeting guests and you could tell he was genuinely happy to see people enjoying themselves. The store itself is beautiful just like other Nugget markets. This one had a cool outdoor area upstairs to hang out. Kudos to all involved in the grand opening today - I know it wasn't easy! Hopefully the crowds aren't always as crazy as today given the 2 other Nugget locations in nearby Roseville. read more

We went here during their opening week, and there were a lot of people. Great promotions. Since it's new, it's very clean. So far, it's not as busy as the opening week. We like coming here for the produce and cakes. read more

Welcome to the neighborhood! Of course I went in opening day along with everyone else. Everything is always so beautiful and well displayed. Their employees love their job and it shows!!! A big shoutout to Tay in the fresh prepared area!! So friendly and helpful, by the way, the meatloaf was delicious! Keep the sales coming! read more

I love Nuggets Markets but this store specifically has work to do. Whoever is in charge of their beer situation should be fired. On a Saturday their selection is horrible with is many empty shelves. Lame to live next to it and have to drive to another one. It's really not difficult to ensure you have stock for your customers. read more

First impression was wow, unfortunately the hype went down. Getting in is easy going out is somewhat of a challenge, all the one ways and U-Turns. Bakery needs some training, bought some crème brûlée and it was undercooked. People on top of the entrance looking under spouses blows, makes it uncomfortable to walk inside the store. The other nuggets may be a few miles farther from home, but still has professional bakers or at list they know how to bake. read more

Isles are too small!. Food is great. But i will NEVER come back. There are MUCH BETTER nugget markets. In the soup isle, you couldn't see the name of the soup because the shelf lip covered the name. Good luck finding lintel soup when you can see the name of the soup. The checkout section was also crowded. Who designed this torture chamber? read more

Typical great Nugget store. I do hope they figure out the sandwich scene though. 45 minutes for a sandwich is too long.
