When I got home I was charged more than the full price. It's going back. Why didn't I check the receipt before leaving? Good question. I was checking a dozen other items where either their App didn't work properly, the pricing had three options for the same item, or the code never registered. I really like this store. It's convenient but they really need to get on the ball. There are other options for grocery shopping in the area. No wonder there were so few people shopping mid-day Come on, Safeway. Mine are the whole coffee beans, milk, brioche bread and the occasional sweet treats like the dark chocolate ganache. Let's not forget to mention the social media driven viral phenomena like those tote bags and various food hacks. Honestly, they don't have to run any ad campaigns anymore. The popularity arc just keeps going up. As an example the cheese selection is quite good and the pricing lower than many other places. You're not going to find the very top quality but sure good enough. Perfect timing as I also grabbed some boneless chicken thighs to cook Japanese style on the grill.. Marinaded only three to four hours then, thinly sliced.. Honestly, it is one of the Best marinades I have ever tasted.. just enough consistency and the flavors all in one.. Chicken grilled nicely like a glaze basted on top..
