While in the area, I decided to drop by this particular Raley's. Walking in, I'll be honest it felt like I was going back in time. The layout of the supermarket was home-y but a bit outdated. I actually had to pace back and forth a bit confused when entering to the vegetable section - to the pharmacy - to an aisle of outdoor goods. For a second, I had to remind myself I wasn't in a Lowes/Home Depot. I did not see any eatery section that I was accustomed to at other Raley's I've shopped at in various areas in the Sacramento area. Regarding the item's I was looking for: After 3-4 trips back and forth, I finally reached out to a worker and he assisted me in what I was looking for (condiments). Kudos to the worker. Hopefully, this particular Raley's gets a facelift in terms of design and layout. But at any rate, all is well that ends well. read more

So if raleys all of a sudden stops taking alcohol in the self check out lane with the person at the register (all legal per the California laws) then they shouldn't hire more employees so we aren't waiting in line 15 minutes for one item. I live 5 minutes from the Raley's in Lincoln CA. I rarely shop there because the prices are easily double what I pay at Winco or Walmart. You would think that they would excel at customer service, given their prices. They don't. The last two times I wasn't even greeted by the cashier. No Hello. No thank you for your business, just a "here you go" as I was handed my receipt. The other cashier at the self checkout, who glanced at me while exiting the store just turned and ignored me. 2pm on a Thursday and the store was virtually empty, by the way. When it's just one employee, you could chalk it up to them having a bad day and give the benefit of the doubt. But it's everyone on multiple occasions. This indicates a management problem or a corporate one. I've had happier experiences with WalMart cashiers. Go figure. Not going there again. read more

The lines here are ridiculously long. Understaffed? I'd stick with Safeway in the area. Today they had two checkout lanes open. One with a sign that said checker in training. I called the store to politely point it out and the lady on the phone said she had no idea what I was talking about and that they had 5 lanes open. Buyer beware, stay away from the condiments section and double check sealed products. I was here recently, the first time since we had my 5 month old baby. Upon walking down the condiments lane, I noticed a couple tampering with condiments. They would break the seal, stick a finger into the bottles, suck on their finger, and discuss whether or not they liked the sauce. I immediately sought out a team member of Raley's and explained what I had seen and pointed the two people out to him. Raley's did nothing. The employee's truly didn't care. 15 minutes later, I see the same couple checking out. Raley's didn't approach them about tampering with product, or ban them, and escort them out. I thought for sure they would be in handcuffs like the people who lick ice cream, but nope this younger generation doesn't care if anyone violates the law, or the products at their workplace. I can't say that I shop here super often, because it's not in the direction I usually travel - but it is the closest supermarket to my house and it's been a good experience when I do. This time I was on a specific mission - grab a few items for a picnic lunch and head out for a few hours kayaking on the lake. They do have a good deli section, so I knew I'd find something! I zeroed in on the sushi initially, and ended up grabbing two rolls. Nice and fresh - it was being made right there as I was shopping. They had some interesting options too - one of the rolls I chose was rice-free, and it was great! I've been working hard to keep my carbs down, so pleasantly surprised to see that option. The other roll I bought was the more commonly seen sushi - spicy tuna. Both rolls were great! Wandering around a bit more, I found another healthy treat - marinaded garlic mushrooms - wow! Unfortunately this location is a headache every time. Always takes 15+ minutes to even be recognized at the deli counter. Produce is very poor quality, goes bad SO quickly. Can't tell you the number of times I've gone to pick up a lemon or other piece of produce and my fingers went straight through due to rotting. Checkout is always a nightmare as well. Even at the busiest times of day and on weekends the lines are staggeringly long and hardly any check stands open. Expect to wait 20 minutes minimum just to purchase your overpriced groceries. I only come here when I'm in a rush and don't have time to go to somewhere further and I regret it every time. read more

I love coming to Raley's. This is one of my favorite places to go shopping at in town. My favorite places to visit in here is the bakery every time you put your phone number in you add up towards free coffee when you buy your tent cup of coffee the next one is free And that's always a saving for me getting something for free. I will take it and every time you put your phone number in they said you keep ones for the stuff that you normally buy is one of my favorite places to buy produce and meats and fresh deli. Everything is absolutely delicious. My favorite in the town and they also have really great quality of meat selection, one of our favorite places to stock up on our meat. My mom will only buy her pork chops at Raley's. She just loves them. This is a very large establishment very clean atmosphere definitely has something for everybody. The bakery makes delicious donuts, cookies, etc. and even you know handmade cheesecakes, this establishment definitely has something for everybody and one thing when you put your phone number over here you could use it at your Belair store Nob Hill and Raley stores. You don't have to use it at this location. Your phone number is good anywhere so if you're out of town and you need to get gas and you don't know your phone number you just use the same phone number that you always use and you get your points that way This is very friendly very helpful. Check out is always very helpful and always shows me how to use my apps I always forget that you need to clip your cute ones on there and she will always come over and just remind me like you need to clip the cute ones and I'm like I always forget because I'm so used to just doing the old-fashioned paper ones, this Raley app is so convenient and easy to use you just download the Raley's app for free and your Google store or App Store if you have an iPhone and it's a free app you sign up with your email and password that you created your account online and even have an option if you're like me and forget your password they haven't Face ID, which will unlock it for you that comes in handy for me because my passwords always at home my Face ID unlocking it makes it a lot easier since I never have my really password on me Very convenient. This is one of my favorite things that they have now is the app if you haven't tried this location you should every Monday they have five dollar Monday deals on various different items. Very great place to go shopping. They also have my pet favorite dog food here and other great goodies if you have not checked it out I highly recommend That you go shopping at Raley's they are a great location. They've been around forever friendly staff great delicious food great prices what more could you ask for? Management at this store ( 39 Lincoln Blvd, Lincoln California) is Terrible. I've been shopping at Safeway and Raleys for about 28 years , sometimes I need something at Safeway ( Safeway is the superior Grocery store) and sometimes I need something at Raleys. So before anyone says " Why don't you just not go back to Raleys " I'm not the dysfunctional one, I'm just exposing the mess. 80% of the time I go into this store the checkout line are so long - they stretch down a portion of the isles. So as usual they eventually open up other registers, you would think this is a good thing and it should be, except at this location it isn't - and the reasons it isn't is the top reason why this store is so bad. Opening other registers doesn't help much because the cashier's completely ignore the backed up lines and over excessively chit chat and talk talk talk and all too frequently as they're chatting it up ' their hands aren't moving. If you look at the faces in the backed up lines - young or old people - they're all p!ssed. I get it - the cashier's have to build a rapor/friendly relationship with the customers, BUT NOT to this stores extreme level while the lines are backed up, most people ( other then senior citizens) want to get their groceries and get out fast. This is where management is not doing their jobs, management should be having ongoing training (daily if needed- literally). Management needs to hone the skills of their cashier's and baggers, teach your employees to talk while their hands continue moving. Another massive problem that intertwines with the above problem and so many of Lincoln California's stores is - The huge overwhelming meca swath of senior citizens that live in the surrounding area of this Raleys store and the Safeway next to this Raleys, one of the massive senior housing development behind these stores is called Sun City and right across from this development - they just built another senior development called Turkey Creek, these senior peeps R completely oblivious of these surroundings in stores and driving, they're a BIG reason for a large amount of the cashier's coddling, gotta stop feeling sorry for these peeps and keep the forward progress moving towards leaving the store as fast as possible - most seniors have no job and no urgency (Retired), the rest of us want to get back to the fun happy things in our lives, not stand in line for 10 to 15 minutes. read more

So I went to get a steak and decided Raley's is usually a good place to go. When I bought the steak the front side looked decent but when I flipped the steak over it has multiple different colors and has that off gross smell. It wasn't discount meat or anything . It was $14.99 a lbs. This seems like a total bait and switch. The butcher knew exactly what they're doing. The management either trains them to cut corners like that or the butcher is trying to pull a fast one on you. The last 2 times we have bought bacon from this store, it has been rancid. We bought it from the deli, it was absolutely horrible, didn't realize until it went in 2 meal prepped recipes. Had to throw both things in the trash that was supposed to be our breakfast for the week and multiple meals. We just bought the pre packed bacon because we thought it'd be safe. Rancid again. I like shopping at Raley's for their sales. The reason I shop here for sale items is that my main staples are typically more expensive than if you were to shop at a bargain grocer. Besides that, I have always ordered my cakes here. We have ordered numerous cakes here and have been more than happy! On this past occasion, I was to order a half sheet of cake for my dad's retirement party. When I ordered, the lady taking the order never told me that they had to blow up the template. Since the cake was large, they had to divide the template into two pieces. She never disclosed this at time of ordering. Four days later, I pick up my cake. To my surprise, I see this big crease in the middle of the cake?!? The crease is in between letters T and I. When I picked the cake up, I noticed and asked why the crease? She explained the reason but I wouldn't have ordered it if they disclosed this initially. It was already too late to order another cake. I was disappointed and I proceeded to the cashier and paid. I drove home disappointed, because like any occasion, it's a special, memorable event. When I got home, I opened the box to show it to my hubby. We noticed right away the crack in the cake. It almost looked as if the cake had settled unevenly. So now I have uneven lettering and a Crack?! He told me to call the store and I figured it's too late since the Retirement party was hours away and I couldn't wait any longer. I used to be a long time fan of the bakery department. If you were to get a smaller cake, I would recommend. But, if you're going for a larger cake.....go elsewhere or don't order a sheet cake. read more

My husband and I have been shopping at Raley's for several years now. We have tried Safeway but prefer the layout of this store as well as the great produce. My two star review has to do with their recent transition to hiring young checkers who come across like you are an inconvenience in their line. No greeting, no eye contact. I did talk with the manager who apologized and said they were shy and were trying to help them come out of their shell. It happened again and we went through self checkout to avoid feeling ignored. Sadly, their self checkout is very sensitive and requires lots of patience. I would much rather shop locally but this situation has changed that for me. read more

The meat department at Raleys is far superior to Safeway. The breads at their bakery section are also superior. The prices are each inflated. But the Raleys in Lincoln constantly is understaffed and the lines are stupid long. I agree with the previous poster that sometimes the checkers and baggers gab way too much, but that also happens at Safeway. But Safeway will usually open more checkstands when lines get long. Pretty nice Raley's here. Everything seems so spacious and organized. The gal working the meat counter was super friendly and provided great customer service. Everyone including the workers and shoppers were practicing social distancing by wearing masks and using hand sanitizer. The produce department was clean and fully stocked. The cashiers were friendly too. Only con about this location is the parking lot. Cars parked way too close to each other and you have to circle around a few times to find a spot. read more

They went to Sephora on January 28th. Card was declined. Went to Raley's with receipt and they said the card was activated and used online on January 6, 2024. Relatively new location, the produce and meats are always fresh, what I've come to expect from Raley's and Bel Air, and this one is no exception. There doesn't seem to be too much employee turnover as I always see the same faces, which makes it a nice experience. They have a Redbox and US Mail service here, so it's definitely a trip-saver if you have needs that extend beyond groceries. A good Raley's location, I know the long time Lincoln residents were die hard Rainbow Market fans and were sad to see them go, but hey, Raley's is also a family owned market, and I hate to say it, it's much cleaner and better than Rainbow was! read more

This is one of my favorite locations it's very conveniently located not too far for me like under 10 minutes I enjoy coming to Pete's coffee with all the friendly staff they have here everybody is very friendly and they know me on a regular basis because they will ask me do you want a medium or large today and it's like oh my goodness I come here too much if they know that part LOL this location is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere very well stocked shelves the bakery items are delicious over here one of my favorite parts of the store the deli also has lots of find meats and entrées to choose from they even have take home stuff that you could heat up to make an easy dinner or a quick lunch the prices here are very affordable love coming here on Mondays when they have the five dollar deals on all assorted items sometimes you can score a really great deals for a really great price the meat department also has very great quality meats was very delicious taste when it comes to having a selection of everything this store definitely has it all I highly recommend this establishment for anybody looking for a great deal the staff is very friendly and very helpful the prices are very great I will definitely be coming back here again very soon for more future visits and more grace reasons to come thank you again raley's in Lincoln read more

I was at Raleys today, only a few masks being worn by employees. I asked if everyone was vaccinated, I was told no, the employees who are not vaccinated are "required" to wear masks. I saw several workers wearing their masks below their nose. these folks are endangering our lives...pretty crazy times. Covid 19/Delta cases are going up all over including Placer County. The CDC has said everyone, everyone should wear a mask indoors to stop the spread. You can still spread Covid even after being vaccinated. I won't go back to Raley's to shop...they are not enforcing the rules. read more

Intentionally dismissed by Seafood clerks. My husband and I don't usually shop at this store and it has been several months since we have been in because we can get better prices elsewhere. We got a mailer ad and saw sone deli meat on sale and decided to come in to get some. My husband went to the deli counter and was looking. I came up a bit later and was looking too. TUESDAY AT 9AM. We both saw two seafood clerks talking and they looked over at us at the counter. One was a tall male wearing a bright blue ski mask. The other was a female with gray hair long black apron and boots. Neither came over or greeted us. They went back to talking. We waited a bit longer. They continued to look over as we made eye contact. It was clear that both clerks were intentionally not making an effort to talk to us or provide any customer service. The situation was so uncomfortable. There is clearly some issue with team work, performance or leadership for staff to act in such a way. I hope that unhappy staff find a better situation and leadership are able to find staff who are able to meet their customer service duties. read more

Let me just start by saying if i could give ZERO stars, I would. There have never been two employees who have treated a customer worse. Two deli employees have to take the rude cake. When I walked up, One person was talking to another employee about some drama that was going on with someone.. they saw me standing there and she reluctantly acknowledged me and yelled for the other deli employee to help (there were no other customers) but she needed to finish her story. I asked for smoked turkey and she rudely interjected - we don't have that - i again asked is there some in the case? Nope and rolled her eyes. He proceeded to make my sandwich with the most contempt one could ask to have. I asked a question to which he did not respond but grunted in response.
