What a place to visit. Randomly found this place on Yelp and was out bourbon hunting and Yelp. Had some good reviews for this place. Entering the store we were greeted by Geo. I believe that was the owner. He instantly came over to talk to us when we are browsing to talk about his store pics and I told him I was new and he was explaining to me about the different bourbons and how are they are made and what they had in the store. The good about this place is that there is great service with some of the best customer support I've ever had, especially for a liquor store. He has a large variety of different bourbons and wines. He they do some combo deals on multiple bottles that are listed on the tags by the bourbon. There are a ton of store pics and he loves talking about them and is very passionate. The stores while organized and clean. Mostly store picks are on the right side and the left side has the regular ones. He has a lot of allocated items in the back and on top shelves. Everything is priced around secondary market and some are decent deals. Best customer service no upselling of items. He just talked about what he had and he made sure that I made the correct choice and didn't overspend. He would rather have a repeat customer then making a buck. 100% would come back here again. read more

This place has everything you've been looking for with competitive pricing. If they don't have it, they can get it. I met Geo a while ago and he is always very warm and welcoming. He knows his Liquors. He will educate you in what you are looking for and won't try to upsell you. He is very reasonable and I love going there. If available he will even offer a taste before you buy. This is my number one spot to go for every day and hard to find stuff. I currently live in Florida, and it is impossible to find any of the typical allocated bourbons and I don't do the lottery system. I did a local search and found Bourbons and more and I will tell you I was a kid in a candy store if I had a million dollars I would have bought the place out they have everything you can want and more. They also gave me some pretty hearty discounts on the bottles that are typically marked up. Don't be affraid to ask. I will be back to both stores before I head back home. Great selection at fair prices (speaking of Bourbon specifically). Price for Eagle Rare was $49.99 and they had 5-10 bottles in-stock. Originally went there for EH Taylor which they had a large selection in stock though a little inflated on pricing. They even had multiple bottles of Blanton's in-stock hidden in a case but $179.99 each so I passed. My bourbon journeys have been fun across the country but out of principle I refuse to pay multiple MSRP markup for "trendy" bourbons That being said probably one of the best bourbon spots in Sacramento area. read more

I came here to purchase a cigar as a birthday gift, and the owner swindled me into a cigar that he said was his "very last one" that he would never get them in stock again, and it was a Cuban cigar knock off. Not knowing much about cigars, I've purchased it to give it as a birthday gift to someone who smokes cigars often and can you imagine how embarrassed I was when they open their birthday gift and told me that it was a fake. That person went back to the store and complained to the manager. He demanded a refund on principle that the owner took advantage of someone who does not know much about cigars and took his word for something that was clearly false advertisement. What an ordeal! I had called this place in search of a particular bourbon. I spoke to Dennis who informed me that he would put a bottle of the bourbon on hold for me since I would be making a 4hr trip to pick it up. When I get there the worker informed me that there was nothing on hold for me and that if I wanted a bottle of the bourbon that I could only buy 1 bottle. I tried to explain to the gentleman that I did not know there was a limit and that Dennis had not informed me that there was a limit on how many bottles a customer can buy and tried to explain that I drove 4hrs with the expectation of spending a few hundred dollars. The cashier then became rude and told me to either get the bottle or get out of the store. If you're going to treat one customer like this, I just wonder how many other customers have been treated like this prior and have not voiced their concerns? read more

I came into the store yesterday morning. The young lady in the store greeted me and was very polite. I told her that I was visiting from Texas and had heard they had a great selection of bourbon. I found my way further inside and was greeted by more bourbon and whiskey than I had seen in any stores in Texas. A wide variety of many of the most common bottles, plenty of store picks to choose from, and the top shelf allocated section. The staff was more than happy to help me satisfying my curiosity by finding prices for the hard to find unicorns. Putting away my impulse decision to take out a second mortgage and buy the entire stores selection, I found some store picks. Again, the staff was very helpful in finding another bottle for me in the back. After I started to combine a few bottles and inquire about some other prices, she called the manager. He was nearby and drove in to answer some questions. It was a good picture of what great customer service looks like. He helped me bundle a few bottles together including some store picks and bottles that you don't see on the shelves in Texas. The manager was very friendly and reasonable. This was an absolutely awesome experience. The team has built an impressive collection of bourbon and has something for everyone regardless of budget. Want to spend a couple thousand on a celebratory bottle for an anniversary or want a delicious store pick daily sipper for $50? This is your store. I was in town for work and was looking for the hard to find Fortaleza for a gift for a friend I was also visiting. I came across Bourbons & More on Yelp as I was waiting for a flower bouquet to be made. I called to ask if they carried and had in stock. The owner (I believe), Giro, said they had just received some and he had actually just finished posting to their instagram (bourbonsandmore). I quickly drove over to make sure I didn't miss out as I had been stopping all over the place hoping to score. I was looking for either their Blanco or Reposado. They had a few rare Winter Blend Reposados that were way out of the range I was looking to spend on the gift. They did have the Blanco, which was marked up of course, but not as much as other places. I will be sure to stop when in the area again so I would highly recommend. read more

Came to visit this store for certain products and I found exactly what I needed plus there was extra deals going on at the same time with the bottle I purchased. The owner was absolutely amazing and very impressed with the service provided. He was knowledgeable about bourbons and other products he even show cased some bourbons that were on tv with his on special sticker or label to put on the bottle. The ambiance of the store was very nice and very well organized and was very easy to see what you're looking for. I came to this store last Saturday morning with the hopes of finding an excellent bourbon as a present for a family member. I decided to give this place a shot because of all the amazing reviews about them taking the time to go over the options and because it was a local business. Well... that was not my experience unfortunately. I walked in and was the only customer in the store. There was a clerk stocking the fridge, and so I said, "excuse me". He didn't respond, and I had said it quietly, and so I thought he didn't hear me. So I said it again louder, he budged, but still ignored me - he was clearly ignoring me at this point. I looked at the vast selection of whiskeys until he was done. I asked him about the whiskeys as he made his way to the register area. He responds " those are the cheap ones, the medium price ones, and the more expensive ones over there. I am busy right now". So I was a bit surprised by his response given the review, and so I just left and said that they lost my $100-200 purchase. I felt extremely uncomfortable at that point due to his rudeness. I went to Bevmo and had an amazing experience. The clerk there was more than happy to go over what bourbons my family member had liked in the past and helped me make a selection. read more

Stopped by on my way out of town on a road trip. These are some of the most outrageous prices I've seen in a while. Bourbon hunters would call this store a museum: bottles on display that will never sell. $700 for Coy Hill, $350 for Michters Toasted. $400 for Midwinter Night. Cool stuff but priced well over even secondary internet prices or what flippers are selling bottles for. 2 stars given as they had good prices if you're looking for basic bottles. read more
