Been here on multiple occasions they have the craziest selection of alcohol I've ever seen with very fair pricing. Staff is always super cool whether I'm coming during the day or late night. Lots of extremely hard to find bottles. read more

Folsom Wines & Spirits - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Folsom, California

Bought two bottles of wine - each over $50. One bottle the cork crumbled. The other bottle was not stored properly and it was oxidized so the wine had gone sharp wand was undrinkable. I should know better than to buy wine from a place that stores their wine standing on shelves standing straight up. I'd save your money and go to a better place unless you are in college. read more

This guy at this place on April 10, 7:40 PM. I went in here to get quarters so we could take a shower at the campsite we were at. I bought some things so we could get quarters in this guy made me pay for a slushy my five-year-old boy into a cup. He demanded that I pay and I gave him two dollars for a slushy. He didn't even drink because we didn't take it. I understand supply and demand but have a little heart. I told him I'm not paying for that and he said well take control of your kid. In which I replied, what do you want me to beat him in the store? Really an awful place and he looked so unphased and comfortable with treating me like crap! read more

None of their telephones work. The 916.988.1000 is out of service. The 800.764.1727 is not in use. They don't reply to emails. help@folsomwinespirits.com or folsomwinespirits.support@gmail.com. I had contacted a neighbor business to confirm they are open. He said yes. I gave him my phone and name to hand to store clerk. They never called back. Avoid this place. read more

I ordered two bottles of whiskey a month ago initially checked in with them via email to see the status of the order. They replied back via email saying it was just like since then the phone number is no longer working and they are no longer replying to my emails, so it looks like I've been scammed by this company avoid buying any product from this company as it probably scammers or I've gone out of business read more

Do not order from their website. Advertise items that are not in stock that they will not fill. 45 days to partially fill an order. After I placed the order, I gave them some grace and waited 20 days to email them for an update. No response. After another 10 days, I called the store. The guy who answered acknowledged the order as (paraphrasing) 'something that's on the list to order in'. When I asked for more information, he had none and told me to email the boss. I sent an email. 7 days after that, I received a shipping email for one item and a refund for the other. No explanation, no apology. If I didn't call and email, these guys would do nothing. Horrible business. read more

Ordered 6 bottles of bourbon and rye that were packaged very nicely. Great prices, secure shipping packaging, and great selection.

Purchased four bottles of bourbon and one was shipped separately. When I received it, it had leaked I believe due to extreme heat in transit. After calling and sending a few pictures, my bottle was replaced. Take the shipping insurance! Ken A, North Carolina read more

Folsom Wines & Spirits - a deer head mounted on a wall - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Folsom, California

These people are liars and theives. I have shopped here for 10 years. I knew the owners well in their early days. But in April 2024, their elderly employee "accidentally " (?) charged me $78.94 instead of $7.89 for a pint of vodka. He said he couldn't reverse it and I had to go to ny bank. Turns out, he could have, but didn't know how because he is 85 years old. Ok, fine. Go to bank. No proof other than that employee admitting he stole 70 dollars from me. Nope. So I go to the owners. They have Me work around their schedule. Drive an hour round trip for a "refund " that never showed up on my card. The owners wife, Remy, kept telling me her husband would call me. Id get my money. Etc. Never heard from him and now that woman will not text me back either. Do not shop here. You will be robbed. If you must, then use cash. Because they clearly have no problem stealing from even loyal customers. They are bad people amd I hope they lose their business. read more

Tequila selection is great, plenty of additive free selections. El Tesoro, Fortaleza, Tapatio, Ocho, etc etc. Pricing is competitive for the common bottles but my only issue is the price gouging for Fortaleza. I get it, EVERYONE is doing it but the bottles MSRP are between $65-100 and they charge $185-$600 depending on blanco, repo, anejo, etc. read more

The knowledge and recommendations were excellent! The store is just fun to go into. Excellent variety of whatever you are looking for. Highly recommend!! My only complaint is that they do not have gift cards read more

Decent selection and staff was friendly. I ended up subscribing to their mail list and became a regular customer.

Charged me more than twice the price while telling me" ignore the posted prices ". Thieves!!

Great hard to find (at least in my area) bottle choices. Product arrived intact and was well packaged. Already made another purchase and plan to again. read more

This place is a scam. I bought a $170 bottle of bourbon. I got a notification from a bogus italian shipping center and still have not received my product and the product is made in the usa so it should never be coming from an italian shipping company.. don't not buy from here! Not sure how they have so many positive feedbacks. This has been complete misery read more

I moved from Folsom to the Memphis area in TN a year ago. As a bourbon lover, I was excited about being closer to the source of my favorite Kentucky bourbons. Turns out, my favorite store in Folsom is still the best place I've come across for hard-to-find bottles. PJ regularly gets amazing bottles and sells them at great prices. I fly back regularly now and stock up every time I'm in California. Love this place! And as an afterthought, anyone who would leave any bottle shop a negative review because they don't sell Orphan Barrel bourbon at retail is living in fantasy land. The rare bourbon market is what it is. Accept that or find a new hobby. read more

Excellent service, friendly. Best stock of fine and rare spirits. My go to for the best in rare spirits. PJ had a bottle of The Midleton Very Rare, Barry Crockett Irish Whiskey is over the top. No one else did. I could have ordered on line from out if state. I rather purchase and support our local business. PJ also got me a bottle of the Whistle Pig Double Barrell Rye. Another over the top spirit. Thank you. read more

I think this place is not as well known as it should be. There is constant traffic for some a small place. All the employees are great at giving advice and recommendations. Drop by some time, you will definitely enjoy the place. read more

Came here this weekend for liquor and was one of the nicest liquor stores I've seen. Really nice décor and all super modern - they have a large monitor that faces you at checkout showing you the total and items. They had stone (maybe granite?) countertops and upgraded shelving - not your typical liquor store. The guy behind the counter was cool too. Their prices seemed to be pretty average although I was only looking at vodka.. read more

PJ is very helpful and knowledgeable the products in his store. Picked up one of their store pick bourbons and loved it.

Noticed this place while stopping for coffee. Sometimes little hole in the wall liquor stores will have a great selection of hard to find bourbons. This place didn't disappoint. Great customer service and knowledgeable owner. Definitely recommend. read more

The new owners are awesome & there's even special deals for their regulars!!! They've remodeled the whole place & have definitely brought the store up a notch! Great beer choices & sooo many different wines then before! The husband & wife team are very nice & very personable! Favorite liquor store in town, hands down. They know their wine and are happy to help you pick some out to complement your meal. Also, their beer selection is decent, and often a few bucks cheaper than at the nearby drugstores/grocery stores. They have plenty of high (and low) end liquor as well. Fantastic and friendly service. Occasional free wine tastings. Easy parking, and with the opening of the new Dam Bridge, traffic is a breeze. read more

No stars. Nothing special here. They don't even have Cointreau! Geez, Raleys has that!!

I just Love this place. Too many good things to leave a review for here. Great selections of whiskey, wine and beer. You will find something new every time you visit there. I was able to find the ever Pliny the elder at this location. Couple of bottles per person which is Fair to all of us. Again Rimmi and Pj are my Favorite. Folsom Wines & Spirits - My Favorite Liquor Store. Exceptionally Clean.. - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Folsom, California

Great establishment. Very friendly and informative staff. Prices are good and they had a great selection.

They won't sell Pliny the Elder unless you buy something else. Stupid. I'm not going to purchase another beer from you just to get Pliny. I'll head to the Orangevale liquor store. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of spirits in the store. Fantastic selection of the best bourbon, scotch and world whiskeys that the big box guys just don't carry. The clerk was super helpful and suggested I come back and talk with owner PJ. I'm glad I did because this is a family business I want to support. Keep up the good work! read more

I just went into your store and spent more than 15 minutes looking for an IPA under 30 days old. Hard to find because the born on dates had been scraped off. Wonder how the brewery would feel about how you're treating their merchandise and their loyal followers. read more

Under New Ownership!! I went here a few months ago and walked in looked around and walked out. It was very basic and not much selection. Being a craft beer hophead I was very disappointed with most of the beer/liquor stores in the Folsom-Orangevale area. Well after heading home from a brewery I just needed an extra beer for the night and thought I could find a basic IPA here. I walked in and was completely impressed. They had all the beers I wanted to try, but can't find. They have Sour beers and The Brewery barrel aged bottles cold. All the new releases from Stone, Knee Deep, and many local brews. They even carry PTE 2 bottle max, sells out quick so ask often. They remodeled the inside and updated the coolers so there's lots of fresh cold beers to chose from. Glad I made it back to this new hidden bottle shop. If you haven't been in here for a while, check them out. Best bottle shop I've found in the area. read more
