I come to this BevMo even though I live closer to the other one across town. It's nice and clean and the customer service is really good. Beer selection is fantastic. They bring it a lot of cool stuff. New stuff all the time You're not going find to find bunch of old expired beer like Total Wine or or other Bevmos in the area. I've been to this location many times with nothing to report about my experience. On this occasion I had to use the restroom facilities and that was an eye-opener! Very very dirty. For a Friday afternoon I wouldn't expect pink scum in the toilet or a mass amount of "pee spots" In front of the toilet. It was absurd. Just invision a gas station bathroom in East L.A., not acceptable by any respectable citizen. Very disappointed. read more

There was an associate within this location that was very rude. Instead of informing me in a calm and nice tone she was very rude. The situation was I am 21 years old meaning I have friends that are both above and under the age of 21. I was with one of my friends picking up a bottle of soju, and I understand where she was coming from needing to ID both of us because there are individuals that would buy so their underage friend could drink as well, but we had just finished dinner and I was leaving so she came with me before we parted ways because it was next door to the restaurant. Instead of saying "I'm sorry but because your friend is underage it is against store policy to sell this to you I apologize," she said, "your friend is underage I'm not selling this to you". I work in customer service and know how a customer should be treated and people like this are a problem and are the reason people shop online to avoid disrespectful associates like her. I hope she is not going to continue in customer service because it is clearly not for her. My experience was so terrible, it was a typical new years night and i went in with my family, Morgan the store manager felt the need to watch us latinos walk around the whole store... for why? we are loyal customers to this BevMo. Once we asked for assistance from morgan she asked if we were drinking and we of course said yes because because we are celebrating the new years and we weren't even drunk and we had two sober driver. Five employees standing around the register in two groups today around 4:00. I looked but couldn't find a specific IPA that I had bought here before. I asked the first group where I could find it. A guy pointed in the general direction of the IPA's and said "IPA's are over there". I said "Yeah, I looked but couldn't find it"....as he walked past me ignoring what I said. Then I went to the second and asked again. A woman said "IPA's are over there"....pointing in wrong direction. "Yeah, I couldn't find AleHouse though". Her..."Are you ready to checkout then?". Me, "Yeah sure"....giving up. This is the third instance of bad service here. The worst is when the cashier refused to check me out because my mask wasn't fully covering my nose and then literally did a dance and starting singing as she walked away. My wife said they didn't know where the Gins were when she was here last. We used to go to a BevMo in San Jose that had great service. The employees always knew more about IPA's than I did. This crew doesn't even know where they are located. This is a really sh*t Bevmo store. I'm going to start hiking further to the Total Wine and More. I'm sick of this place. read more

I had a really bad experience here. The store was fine had everything I needed in stock. But the customer service was some of the worst in the entire area for ANY business. A very cold unfriendly air inside this place and communicating with the workers is really hard because they're all very hostile and make it seem like they hate their customers. I tried to ask someone for help and they pretended not to hear me and walked away and pretended to be busy. I got an extremely cold vibe here and for that reason I will never be returning to this BevMo location EVER again. This review is solely for the awful customer service I have received here. I do not have anything negative to say about the actual store nor the products sold. I am not speaking for every single person who works here, but there is one girl in particular who has an absolutely atrocious attitude. I do not know her name, but she is relatively young and has stretched ears and dyed hair. Every time she encounters a customer, she gives them an extremely awkward, unwelcoming look, as if she would rather do anything in the world but help them. When speaking, she gives constant looks of disgust and irritation for absolutely no reason. I am always very pleasant when interacting with employees regardless of where I am, so her attitude towards me was just ridiculous. I would never take the time to write a bad review for an establishment because of one person unless it was an extreme cause, but I will say I have NEVER been more uncomfortable in a store due to this particular employee. I do not know how she was hired to work in CUSTOMER SERVICE to begin with, but I sure hope this gets addressed and taken care of ASAP. read more

Every time I come in here, the store associates are always kind and helpful. Last weekend in the morning, I came in here looking for a bourbon as a gift for a family member. I had just come from a bad experience at another store in the area. And the sales clerk - I wish I had her name, she's always so nice- helped me pick out a unique option. she took the time to go through what my family member liked and made a couple of suggestions. I highly recommend this store to everyone that is 21 years old and older this store is always super clean and the staff is always super nice and helpful and they have a lot of great deals on everything all the time. They also do wine tastings as well and if you can't find what your looking for you can ask them to see if they can have it delivered to the store for you, that goes for all there wines and beers as well. And you save money by having a bevmo member card and it's free to sign up. My husband and I have been going to this bevmo a lot though out the years, it's 1 of there best stores they have and they also have a great knowledge of beers and craft beers and same with the wines as well. read more

As far as alcohol retail locations are concerned, you could do a lot worse than this BevMo. While they don't have the largest selection of spirits, especially when compared to Total Wine, they do have the basics covered and then some, making them a reliable option for those in the area. It was actually cheaper to get our kegs here than at Total Wine and they had a far larger variety. We were able to go into the freezer and have our pick of the available varieties before a hot summer weekend and there were a decent amount to choose from. The friendly chap helping us was more than happy to discuss options to maximize both our savings and getting the best quality brews. We would have had to order the same choices from Total Wine. It's also in the back corner of a crowded parking lot, so plan accordingly when picking up a large order. I learned this the hard way when carrying and loading heavy kegs halfway across the lot from the front door! read more

This BevMo has taken over the corner spot in the Rocky Ridge plaza that has changed so many times I can't count. I can only hope their business is doing well so they stay in this great, convenient location. BevMo has a great selection of wines, beers and spirits. Some things are cheap, some are overpriced. They have a pretty interesting selection of cheese and food as well. I can't give them five stars because the selection for a beer and wine specialty store could be better. Like Total Wine. But BevMo does have the basics, and I enjoy shopping there. Plus they don't treat me like a total degenerate for shopping with my toddler. They also left me with a very awkward situation on one visit. I went in to browse with a friend, and the cashier asked her where she was from. She told him Antelope, and he said "Oh! I remember you! I live across the street from your mom". She smiled and politely said "Oh, small world" or something like that. He responds with, "Yeah... Just went to Bevmo on Douglas blvd Roseville and when I went to check out with a 12 pack of Corona and the acting manager refused to take it out of the cart for me when I explained I am recovering from spine surgery. He then asked me how I got it in there? I informed him my girlfriend put it in for me. I then asked him if he wanted me to have her lift it on the counter? (BTW she's 68 years old with only one lung) He said yes have her lift it and when I called him an was he then refused to sell it to us, not that I'm ever going back. When I asked his name as he walked off he ignored us. Terrible customer service and discrimination of 2 legally disabled persons, . I was even walking with a cane so my disability was obvious. Who doesn't love BevMo? The 5 cent sale never fails to excite me and perusing the aisles is always a mini adventure. Admittedly, I'm not a big beer drinker, but I'm always impressed/intrigued when I walk down the beer aisle with my boyfriend -- there's such an awesome selection of cool, unique brews that tempt *ME* (which is saying a lot)! Even though I rarely buy any of their food, I also love their snack/cheese/olive selection. Definitely a cool little one-stop shop for party drinks and bites. read more

I run the business next door and usually go here to buy my staffs birthday cards. In the past I've always been greeted nicely and never been carded for buying a greeting card, but today was just plain unacceptable. Miss Susan was so rude I'm literally shaking. It's one thing to ask nicely may I please see your ID? But she didnt. She said one word things like ID???? TAKE IT OUT... you look young, BAG??? Ok so does that mean children aren't allowed in with their parents? I have two main gripes about BevMo. The first is price. They are a warehouse store but they maintain the very hi side of retail pricing. You want a 12 pack of Blue Moon? How does $15.99 sound? It's a different flavor of Coors soooo? They also have a club card which is worthless. The next thing is the Wilfred Wong reviews that the put on all the wine they are trying to move. Wilfred says it's a 90Pt wine. Well folks Wilfred is an employee of BevMo so...I don't know...it seems like they are full of sh*t reviews to me.
