Surfin Bird Turkey with Maui, mustard, lettuce, tomato, red onion, lettuce, alfalfa sprouts, pepperchinis, pickles, avocado, and bacon
Ursula O.

Our favorite... the Surf'in Bird! Beach Hut Deli is known for sandwiches, which are nothing like you've never experienced. Every ingredient is top quality and completely fresh. The menu is also unique. Many of the sandwiches contain cream cheese, fresh sliced avocados, and other delicious combinations. They have hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, salads, and what they call beach munchies! Beach Hut Deli also serves beer, and last I heard... there is a happy hour Monday through Friday from 4pm-7pm and Sunday all day long. Coors Light is $2, and microbrews are $3. This Lincoln Beach Hut shares is parking lot with many other businesses. When we pulled in for lunch, there was plenty of parking. We decided to dine in and eat inside. The tables are shaped and designed to look like surf boards, with tiki huts throughout. There are seats available as if you are at a bar/breakfast bar. We ordered the extra large Surf'in Bird and a couple of beers. They were kind to offer to put it on separate Frisbee's (their plates) for us. Their sandwiches are packed full of everything they could think of... these sandwiches are absolutely not made for convenience. These are made to WOW YOU! We struggled to eat such a huge sandwich. If you refer to the pictures, the sandwich is bigger than my hand and still needs to be closed to eat... I think we could've gone down a few sandwich sizes and been comfortable. This was so big!!! I enjoyed our sandwich and our time at Beach Hut Deli. I always enjoy spending time with my handsome man! I love the atmosphere and the chill vibe of everyone who works here. Outdoor seating is available, but the weather was a little wet that day.

Santa Cruz 6inch

My first time here and never again! This review is strictly for the food and its prices. The gentleman that was helping me in the front was super nice.. but that was the only good thing about it here. I got a Santa Cruz sandwhich and it was just average.. actually below average. The sandwhich tasted like it had too much mayo put in it.. no other 'flavor' at all.. tasted just like a 'Oh I made this in 5 minutes' type of sandwhich.. and WORST of all.. it was $17!! .. I know inflation is crazy but Idk how a 6inch sandwhich can be $17??? What? And worse of all.. it wasnt even good.. Please safe yourself and your wallet a trip. Try a different place. I am never visiting here again. Just sharing this information to everyone else

Skimpy Surfin bird.

Walked into order a sandwich @ noon and was kind of shocked that it was empty. I was the only person in there. Once I got my sandwich, I realize why $21 for a small sandwich chips and a drink and talk about skimping on everything one pepper and pickle, one little thin slice of bacon. And bread tasted a couple days old. Looks like new owners, not the beach hut it used to be. The restaurant seemed to be clean and tables were clean, but that's because nobody was in there. Sad won't be going back. I really like the Marley nachos but don't wanna pay $20 for who knows what!

Poorly made California sandwich on gluten-free bread

I have been to other Beach Hut locations and have been completely happy and satisfied with their food, employee interaction, and service. Yesterday was not the case when I came to their Lincoln location. It is located inside a strip mall setting. There is plenty of parking and once inside you get the typical Beach Hut Deli feel. The young guy taking orders clearly did not know how to place orders and had to go ask questions. NOTE: This location does not have gluten-free wraps, only gluten-free bread. After our order was placed they turned up the music inside and about six to seven employees were laughing and singing in the sandwhich making area. I'm fine with having a good time whilst working...but let's think about the customers and actually doing your job well. When our sandwiches arrived my friend's was fine. Mine, the Californian (veggie) however was not. It was missing cucumber and bell pepper that I added and the cream cheese was plopped onto the avocado. I went back inside to where the party was happening, and it looked like a woman manager had arrived. I told them what was amiss with my sandwich and confirmed they didn't have wraps to which one of the kids replied the cucumber and bell pepper was not on the order. Another apologized and said they would remake the sandwich. Seven minutes later my new sandwich arrived. If you view the picture you can see they maybe used a tablespoon of cream cheese for the entire sandwich? The bread was super dry and honestly the sandwich was flavor-less. At least the avocado was nicely sliced. I will stick with the Beach Hut Delis in Folsom and El Dorado Hills, which are exceptional! Next time I'm in Lincoln, I will look for another option. Please do better!

This is half of the sandwhich - that is all the cranberry there was. SMH

The restaurant was clean, employees were friendly and service was quick. However - I ordered a 12" turkey sandwich with cranberry (extra cranberry) . And for $20 I got a turkey sandwhich with maybe a tablespoon of cranberry for the entire thing, and it was all in one small section. Which would be silly even if I didnt ask for extra. Disappointed- since I went out of my way to go there versus Togo's.

Long time advocate for beach hut but was very disappointed with today's order. Placed my order 40 mins ahead because that's how long the app said would the earliest I could pick up. Once I arrived they had just started making my 1st of 3 sandwiches. Mind you we are now at 50 mins since order was placed. Besides that sandwiches were on hit.

Our sandwich, The Surfin Bird

My girlfriend and I decided to have lunch here. We ordered the surfin bird and a couple beers. While we waited for our food, I noticed the beach like theme around us, palm trees, surf board for tables, tiki like huts. It's catchy and comfortable. The staff is professional and are pleasant to talk with. When we got our sandwich, it was massive. It was definitely going to put me to sleep when I got home. I like how we were able to add alfalfa sprouts onto it. It gave our sandwich more flavor and a craving I can only get at beach hut. I am looking forward to coming back and trying more food-

The blaring music is enough to stop me from coming here again. It was at concert levels and certainly not at dining levels.

Great food. Too hot. Too slow. I keep going back because I love how they pile on the meat and toppings.

Looking at all my favorite deli meat options, beef, pastrami, ham, etc. I was "good" and headed for the vegetarian options. They have salads too. I selected a Deli Veggie Sandwich on my selection of marble rye bread and pepper jack cheese. That was $10.99 which these days isn't that bad for a sandwich. At the last minute before checking out I added the macaroni salad. For $3.69 it was tasty enough but a bit overpriced when you can get much more for slightly more in price at a nearby supermarket, if you want to make an additional stop. There's a small parking lot in back, which is convenient. The place is kinda cute on the outside as it looks like a small, simple shack. Inside the place is rather dark and dismal so I wouldn't eat there. There's a small outdoor eating area as well, and although rather exposed to the elements it might be a better choice than indoors if you plan on eating there. The staff were efficient enough, and more matter of fact than friendly in their greeting. It was pointed out to me to get the macaroni salad out of the self-service refrigerator. Now I know the drill in picking up a take out order. The sandwich itself was quite good. All of the ingredients were fresh and crisp. It was nicely prepared and the bread was also fresh and delicious. I was pleased with the size and tastiness. They have sandwich size options too. I'd go back when a sandwich craving hits. Overall, except for the physical appearance of the place, it's not that bad. Putting it in perspective it is a sandwich shop after all. Overall, I do recommend it.

Excellent sandwiches and even better service…read more While the BLT on wheat with NOS Sauce was ridiculously good, the real highlight of my visit to the Sandwich Spot was Tim, the owner, and his genuine, exceptional customer service. We came in on a Saturday night with about 20 minutes until closing and were hoping to eat in the shop. Given the timing, I was fully prepared to be told that dining in wouldn't be possible or that the kitchen was closing early. Instead, Tim welcomed us in without hesitation. He enthusiastically shared his sandwich recommendations, let us sample the signature sauces, and explained where he sources his fresh ingredients and why that's important. During the meal, Tim treated us to extra chips, let us try their pasta salad authentically crafted by a 92-year-old Italian woman, and shared how he strives to make sandwiches with the same level of care his grandma showed when making them for Tim as a boy. I left the Sandwich Spot that night supercharge and thrilled knowing that there are still restaurants in my area operating the old-fashioned way. It's clear fresh sandwiches and excellent customer service are important to Tim and I can't wait to go back!

I love the bread but most wouldn't because of how dense it can be and sometimes annoying to eat, not a bread you just wanna eat on for a quick bite as it takes a lot of chewing. The sandwich and chips costed $17.15, great/fast customer service, and a clean shop.
