Oh boy. Where to begin? The employees were both very friendly, however it went downhill from turning the car on... Drove 40 minutes to see what looked like a very nice car, got there and as soon as we got in, the tire sensor warning lights (yes, more than one) came on. The employee explained that as soon as he left to get gas in the car, the lights came on... he was apologetic but no way. Speaking as a former customer who had issues on a pre-owned Honda Pilot bought from here, I will not recommend this dealer. We thought maybe the Pilot issues were a one off thing, but after this second experience, nope. Also, reviews on Google mention the same issues - so this isn't just an isolated experience. Where do I begin, I purchased a car from them in January a 2017 Acura and it looked brand new and nothing was wrong as soon as two weeks come in the lights are all on and had to go back and reset it and then a month later the AC acts out and they tell me to contact extend warranty and their useless. They only pay for the parts and charge you for the labor freaking ridiculous. Their pricing is insane this car ain't even worth 20 grand for a 2017. I am disappointed to even bought this car from them and now I'm trying to build my credit to pay off a couple of months so I can switch my car since I'm sick of it. The AC hasn't worked since March and then the brake pads and routers had to be replaced within 3 months purchasing this car and tires. Like WTFF this is insane. Never again and wouldn't recommend this place. Walked in today ready to purchase a vehicle I had looked at a few days prior. I had a cashiers check ready from the bank with an offer (only $1500 off of $25k). Thought that was appropriate considering the vehicle had been sitting in the lot for 6 months. I told the woman I was working with I was ready to talk to someone about buying and she said she would go grab her sales manager. I proceeded to watch the sales manager do paperwork at his desk for 15 minutes then call me in. I gave my offer and he said "you should have told me that before I filled out all of this paperwork." However, he didn't even give me a chance to talk to him about it... Also how was I supposed to know he was doing paperwork for my purchase? He never introduced himself either. I saw in the Carfax two weeks prior to them getting the car a Maserati Dealership in Va Beach serviced and had the car. So, I called them and asked about the condition of the car. Horrible. They sold me a car that started overheating within 2 weeks. It has a blown head gasket that they were either too incompetent to notice or so deceitful that they knowingly sold a vehicle in such condition. After reaching out to them repeatedly for help regarding the vehicle, they offered to send me to a wholesale mechanic they use so that I could take advantage of their "wholesale pricing"... entirely at my expense. The mechanic has been in business for about 3 years, with no online presence, and almost no reviews. Estimates I have received elsewhere for replacing the head gaskets range from $3,000 to $4,000, and may not even fix the problem if the engine had previously overheated badly enough. My kids were with me when I bought the car, and asked why I couldn't just take it back to them like the salesman said I could when we bought it. I purchased the car as-is, with no warranty, during the pandemic when cars were selling well above the normal price. The salesman told me that if there were any major problems shortly after I bought it, they would help me out, because they take care of their customers. When I asked what he meant by that, he clarified saying that I could bring it back. If they cared at all about their customers or their reputation, they would have done more than offer to send me to a sub-par mechanic at my own expense. I will never shop there again, and neither should you. If you search online, you will find that LOTS of their customers had similar experiences. When I told them that I would be writing a review, something they asked me to do when I bought the car, the finance manager said it was unfortunate that I was the kind of person who would do such a thing. I am the kind of person who hopes that this review can help someone else avoid a similar experience. read more

I had concerns with buying a vehicle here and took a vehicle I was interested in to get checked out by a mechanic I have used for years. There was at least 3,000 in repairs that needed to be done on the vehicle. Major issues! Went back and spoke to the owner of the lot and he said he would take 300 off car and he got very emotional about it and started raising his voice at me. Absolutely not. Went to check out an 03 Ford Ranger today and BOY are these scumbags some con artists lmao. They didn't even put too much effort into it either. "Our mechanics looked it over and it's in great condition ready to go." THAT POS WOULD NOT PASS INSPECTION OFF THE LOT BY A LONG SHOT! Bushings on the ball joints GONE! At some point the upper control arms were replaced, but the lower control arms were so rusted they looked like they could take some real damage from compressed air for crying out loud. He said he would to sell it to me for 8, but told me it's going up to almost 10K. IF YOU ARE ONE OF HIS THREE APPOINTMENTS FOR THIS RED RANGER TOMORROW, DOOOO NOOOOTTTT BUYYYY! Oil AND transmission leak, and front left wheel bearing is on the way out. You can easily spot the oil on the head gasket. Offer no more than $5.5k like I was going to, or walk right tf away. Wow, what an experience....we were shammed from the get-go. "Alan" said he personally used the vehicle we purchased and there was "nothing" wrong with it. Wrong! CD player doesn't work, antennae had been broken off, needs tires, needs brakes and rotors (can't get rotors for it so we're screwed there!), and the best.....has a MAJOR engine problem which will cost us $1000s to get fixed. I understand needing to do your own due diligence, and obviously we didn't do ours well enough, but these guys were not forthcoming. The expedient customer service we got was a cover to get us out of there before we caught on to what they were really about. Bought a 2007 328i with 75k miles on it was able to negotiate a couple hundred off. they were nice and worked with my budget the car looked immaculate inside and out engine bay was spotless come to find out they just pressured wash the engine bay then disconnected the battery prior to me buying it and within 48 of having it I had a multitude of expensive complications. Valve cover gasket, head gasket, defective airbags, malfunctioning windows, hood latch broken and many more totaling more than 2 thousand dollars told them they ask me to come back with the car I asked if they would fix it or give me a refund owner got rude and said it was my problem after some harsh words and lawyer talk then finally said they would fix i told 2 weeks and they did maybe one or two things and said it was perfect I tried to reached back to them they said it was my problem don't give these scammers your business they're a bunch of money hungry thieves read more

I would never recommend anyone to buy a car from this company. I had a fine experience buying the physical car. However, when I got a flat tire and went to use the lift that came with the car, it was not the right size. It was way too small, and did not lift my car high enough to switch out the spare tire. A separate issue I have dealt with since buying this car, is when I needed to use my second key. The car I purchased came with two sets of keys. I had only ever needed to use one key and finally when I went to use the spare it was NOT EVEN FOR MY CAR. The spare key had a tag on it still from Raleigh-Pre Owned that listed my car's year, make and model. But the key wasn't even for my make and could not ever be programmed for my make. So I had to spend $400 on a new key fob, when this spare key should have worked when I needed it. I contacted Raleigh Pre-Owned numerous times concerning the issues and the company did not seem to care. There are plenty of car dealerships in the Raleigh area that people can visit instead, to avoid dealing with these insensitive infuriating mess-ups. read more

Let's put up a few corrections to his story...A full day means from 2pm till 6:45pm to have it gone through and checked out by a mechanic. Not quite enough time to run a pressure test and really get into the mechanics of the truck. We couldn't agree on a price which is true, you couldn't come down to the level I was asking because you had too much in it. However, the very next day...2nd occasion, I came in and you offer 2k for my truck and brought your price down a little which was enough below what I was willing to pay for it, so I accepted and bought the truck. Lets review the more interesting part of your story. The $4000 bill was actually $5500 dollars since it is replacing the head gasket at a ford dealership. Which apparently you still don't believe it is a blown head gasket even though 2 shops confirmed it, because you are STILL trying to sell it on your lot for the same high price you were asking before. Let me also correct another aspect of your story, I liked the truck and said I would keep it if you would pay for the repairs if indeed your mechanics said it was a blown head gasket and your response was "you ask too much Robert". Too much to fix a blown head gasket you knew existed and have to wait 7 days to find a good car from a reputable dealer because you are obviously shady? Yeah too much. The next few days I did call you to check and make sure you paid off the loan I had to take out to buy the truck...Certainly not to buy the truck with a blown head gasket. ... "Then he called and asked us to sell him the truck and add a few thousands to the quote so he can get some extra money from the bank knowing the truck is good"...Um yeah that makes perfect sense and anyone looking on here before they buy a car from you will realize that is just plain unworthy of a response. "shame on u we said shame on u i say now shame on u ever for being the way u are.........u have been treated with respect " No no Allain, SHAME on You for not being truthful in your dealings with the people of this city, Shame on you for trying to still sell a truck you know has a $5500 repair that will be needed immediately. Shame on you for ripping me off and sticking me with repair bills. I pity the people that work for you, because in the end it makes them look bad. PLEASE DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISHONESTY!!! I was looking to purchase a Hyundai Elantra. Upon starting the vehicle the eps light was on. I mentioned it to my initial salesman (John) and his response was that the light should be easy to reset (no interest in fixing the problem, only getting the light to go off). I took it for a test drive and to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection where I was told the car had a few codes come up, it looked like they had tried to reset the lights for the codes, and ultimately the transmission needed to be replaced. I came back to the dealership with the results from the mechanic and I was ready to negotiate. John was busy so I spoke with another salesman (short, thin, older, caucasian man) who then tried to "man-splain" the codes to me and how they were not serious fixes. He also used a machine to look at the codes on the car himself and nothing showed up (which lets me know they are altering things like that. If it showed up on the mechanic's machine it should be on theirs). He refused to accept that the transmission was no good, and PROCEEDED TO SPEAKING OVER ME as I am trying to tell him what the mechanic said. He accused the mechanic of just trying to create business for himself. At this point the conversation is loud. After multiple attempts to be allowed the space to speak uninterrupted, he stopped talking and looked around avoiding eye contact as I spoke (I kid you not.) I told him my offer and he wasn't willing to negotiate, so I get up to leave. I go to my car and then I realized I didn't get his name for this review (hence why I'm identifying him as short & thin older caucasian man). He is walking toward me to apologize for how he spoke to me. I then asked for his name for the review which he refused to give me. I then return back into the location where John tried to mediate the situation, but it was already unsalvageable by then. I explained to John what happened while the STOCM continued to speak loud with me-I had to repeatedly ask him to stop speaking to me. He also told me he was about to CALL THE COPS on me. John would not give me the man's name either. Another couple who was looking for a car saw the whole thing, they got up and left. YOU DESERVE BETTER!! Pretty much had same experience as the person below me. Before I start everyone besides the owner was super awesome. More than helpful, but with that said it went downhill really fast. Took a 540i bmw wagon for a spin with my girlfriend. This place is on the corner of spring Forrest and capital. I got to the light at millbrook and capital the car just straight stalled at the light. Didn't even crank up, no lights came on, nothing. I had to get out of the car and push it into the nearby bank parking lot. Thank god the gentleman behind me hopped out and helped me too. Why they let me off the lot with the car in that condition, who knows. So after calling and having the car jumped multiple times, i had to give up and drive the other car back. Also want to add the man who came and gave me a jump was also super cool and super helpful. Finally getting back I only got a "sorry about that". I was super calm and polite I told them I'd take the car for a couple thousand less, I pretty much got laughed at by the owner. This particular car and year has trouble with the head gasket around 100k and hadn't been replaced and the above battery issue. The guy says he'll take 300 off and I couldn't help but laugh. After a test drive that put both my girlfriend and I in danger and then a horrible experience back I was amazed at his audacity for a few hundred off. Said he could fix it and sell it for 10k. Guys a straight skeezer doesn't give two shits about you or what he's selling you. Cheap cheap cheap owner. Don't go there. Those cars seem horribly maintained. read more
